You can help prevent tooth decay by starting your child's dental checkups at an early age.
Your child will love getting this fun letter personalized for them from the Tooth Fairy. Not only is it fun, but it also helps educate them on the importance of proper oral health care and routine visits to the Tooth Fairy's friend, the dentist.

Dr Kearns is great! The assistants and receptionist are all amazing and help you in any way possible. Always called back in a timely manner also!

This office does not allow a parent to accompany their child, as young as 3 years of age, in the back for their cleaning or routine X-rays. This is new Covid protocol. Even though they take the parent and child's temperature, ask the Covid exposure questions, and have everyone in a mask. They then hand you a pager and ask you to wait in your car. This is completely unacceptable.

My son was 3 at his first cleaning and the only way they allowed me back was to ask "someone" permission. I was thankfully granted it that day, but now 6 months later, my son is 4, and they wouldn't allow me back because this wasn't his first cleaning. Not only would they not allow me back, but she made ME feel crazy for asking! I can't imagine what parent would not only be okay with their young child having a medical procedure done, as minor as it is, on their own.

Let alone leaving the building while this is happening. I immediately left my son's appointment and called 3 other dental practices asking if this protocol was being practiced in their office. All 3 said absolutely not and that of course parents are allowed to be with their child, of any age. I transferred my children out immediately. I would like to know how this is even allowed?

What if something were to happen while my 4 year old is getting his teeth cleaned, and I'm sitting in my car? Or what about the general anxieties associated with any kind of appointment with young children, is separating that child from their parent good practice? I don't know how anyone would be okay with this, and I don't know who thought this was a good rule to implement.

My son has autism and is afraid of male providers. His provider at this practice was male and I did know before we went in, however, when I explained it to them, they were NOT offended in the slightest and even offered to assist us with another dentist who was female in their office. They were AMAZING! My son has a lot of dental issues and not once did he blame me for anything with my son's teeth. I highly recommend this practice. I am very picky when it comes to providers and they exceeded my expectations!

They have always been wonderful with my kids and are calm and know how to interact with them. They ease their minds and my kids have no fear of going to the dentist. We started taking them when they were about 2 and the hygienists are wonderful with them along with Dr. Ashby. My only negative is that it is hard to get appts sometimes for a time that actually works because they have so many patients and the hours are not ideal for working parents and school schedules.

LOVE this practice. I have a nine year old with autism and they are always so good with him! Very kind, gentle, and caring. We usually see Dr Ashby, he's amazing with a wonderful bedside manner. We just saw Dr Patil for the first time today and he was so good with my little guy. Explained everything to him and went very slowly so my son could get used to what he was doing.

They also always let my son hold the tools and get comfortable with them before starting their exam. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Best pediatric dentistry practice! We've been with them for 7 years now and no complaints!

I chose Kearns & Ashby as my kids dentist, because I went there as a child and never had a bad experience. My 8 year old daughter hated the dentist. We started taking her to Kearns & Ashby and she loves going now. She shockingly asked, "when do I get to go back?" She enjoyed her visit that much!

Had appointments scheduled for all 3 of my kiddos at once. they all felt comfortable and actually had a great time. my little one who is 5, brought his "shark puppet" along to help him feel comfortable. Staff joined along meeting his friend the shark puppet (who had his teeth checked too) my son thought it was hilarious! What a great experience. I recommend them to all my friends with kiddos

Incredible experience! My 4 year old son needed quite a bit of dental work done and Jeff Kearns did an excellent job. The staff was wonderful and we felt truly cared for. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had my daughter in here and they made her feel comfortable and safe for I could not go back with her like you could before COVID. They had many steps in place to ensure my child's safety while being in their office and in their care. She came out smiling and laughing and staff member took her time to talk to me. We had a great experience all around from calling in to their office for appt, coming scheduling next appointment, to leaving obtaining discharge instructions. Everyone in the office was friendly and caring. Thank you for keeping everyones kids and your staff safe.

When my daughter was 4, I attempted to take her to my regular family dentist office. It was a horrible experience. A family friend recommended Kearns & Ashby and my daughter has never been happier when going to her check ups; I've been taking her and my son there ever since. The entire office is catered towards children, from the waiting room, to the exam rooms. The staff is patient and kind and we've never had a bad experience here!
