We are here for you and your child. From the time your child grows their first tooth until they are ready to move on to an adult dentist, our doctors and their team will help care for and protect your child's smile. Because children are so different from adults, we take a unique approach to every patient. We treat our patients as if they were our own and we want each visit to be a fun, educational visit. Dave is the best!

He's the only dentist that all 3 of my kids love so it's worth the drive. He's come in after hours for an emergency and he's seen my daughter all the way through her traumatic injury.

Services
This includes proper brushing, flossing and eating habits, ideal fluoride levels and the use of pit and fissure sealants. Our Team team strive to provide a fun, educational environment whose children learn about the importance of good dental hygiene. This includes children's fillings, crowns and prosthesis, including treatment of the often devastating nursing bottle decay.
Dr. David followed in his father's footsteps and graduated from the University of Minnesota. After completing his pediatric residency, he participated in a rotation through the Gillette Specialty Children's Hospital in their outpatient and inpatient areas. This provided the opportunity to spend additional time with the cleft palate and craniofacial team, and Dr. David has since joined their team as a staff clinician.
Dr. Emma is originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota for her undergraduate studies where she received a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Emma then spent one year teaching 4th-8th grade students math at Kennedy Elementary in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Dental school brought her all the way to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, earning her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. She then returned to the University of Minnesota to complete a specialty program in pediatric dentistry.
Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School aged children for routine visits can be scheduled throughout the day.

Koala dental care is the best place I have brought my child. They take such great care of her. All staff are so gentle, kind and they let kids watch a tablet while they put crowns on.

I had a small issue with my sons retainer and instead of making a brand new one, they fixed it on the spot. They certainly could have charged me for a new one but I appreciate your honesty that they were able to repair the one I already had.

I was SO impressed with Koala dental today! My 6 year old had two teeth pulled AND a cavity filled! It was a short visit and my daughter came out with all smiles! So thankful for this dental office!

All I have to say is, is the staff is amazing. Our daughter was referred a few years ago as she had sever anxiety about the dentist after a horrible experience at our Dental office. Not only has her experience been above amazing we also decided to continue orthodontic care and couldn't be happier. Thank you to all the staff for being so caring and understanding of daughter. Keep being amazing.

This place is amazing. I never thought my daughter would let anyone touch her teeth. She was terrified until she went here. The woman dentist is great. I give this place 5 stars. And for people saying comments about them not letting the parents go in back with them. There's a good reason to why they do that. Aka common sense.

We have been bringing our two boys to Koala Dental since they were little and wouldn't even consider bringing them anywhere else! They do such a great job and the staff is always SO friendly and great with kids. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves this dentist! She has never complained about pain, it's quick and thorough, and they always take me in after for a review. Facility is clean and neat and full of goodies for the kiddos. We are always helped as soon as we walk in. My daughter also loves the gift when all done! Super friendly staff as well

Do I have to give a star? The dentist warned me that there might have to be some silver on my daughters teeth. When we got to the appointment I was like five minutes late, the receptionist was extremely rude because she thought it was much later than I was and didn't even apologize when she found out I was only five minutes late. Then when it was My daughters turn to go back, the assistant wouldn't let me go back there.

She was having serious work done and I wanted to go back. The assistant was so persistent about not letting me go back there I just gave up. About an hour later I went back there to find my daughter's face all cut up from whatever they were holding her mouth open with and huge silver caps. I had no idea that they were going to be doing after her, I would've paid the extra money to have white if I would've been back there but that stupid assistant won't let me.

My daughter needed to by a dress, so the rest of the afternoon she spent crying in the dressing rooms looking at her teeth. I hope she gets fired, I hope that if anyone has the money that they do not bring their children here. That woman does not deserve to get paid. She needs to go work cleaning up Porta potty's or something. I don't know if I've ever hated a stranger so bad.
