Dr. Thomas and his wife, Kim, relocated to Greenville in 2006 but have been long time living in Upstate South Carolina. Dr. Thomas is a graduate of the Citadel with a BS degree in Business Administration. He went on to get his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina getting honors from the Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry Departments and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Epsilon, the dental honor fraternity. After finishing from dental school, Dr. Thomas joined the United States Navy and graduated a General Practice Residency at Oakland Naval Hospital in Oakland California. He served as Department Head on the USS New Orleans from 1992-1995 before starting private practice in Greenwood, SC.
He is a long time member in good standing with The America Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and The American Association of Operative Dentistry and maintains membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is a former member of the Emerald City Rotary Club, and served as Club President from 2004-2005. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a Rotary Benefactor. Dr. Thomas was instrumental in the development of the Greater Greenwood United Ministries free clinic and provided care there for many years.
Dr. Thomas was voted best dentist in Greenwood.

I am so excited to have such amazing dental office. Dr. Thomas and his staff are so helpful, courteous and caring. I always get greeted with kindness and smiles. They make you feel comfortable while in the chair and if your like me I have major anxiety from previous bad dental experiences. They listen to all my concerns with understanding and do what ever possible to make me feel comfortable. I recommend Dr. Thomas and his staff to anyone who is looking for professional and caring dental office.

I will ALWAYS give this dentist office a 5 star! I wish I could give more! From the first time I went, I felt like family. Every single time they are just so nice and easy going. Not one minute is unpleasant. They don't make you feel uncomfortable or self conscious. The lady that cleaned my teeth was very nice and keeps conversation. The dentist is very nice as well! If you don't already go here, you are really missing out!

My oldest daughter recommended Dr. Thomas's practice to me, and today was my first visit. I am in love! The staff was kind and professional. The office was also spotless. I did not wait long to be checked in, examined, checked out, or to receive my follow up appointment. I am impressed by the entire staff. If I could give more than five stars I would.
I need to add to my original review: I had another excellent experience today. My four daughters and I are absolutely in love with this dental office. My hygienist was thorough, and the front desk staff was professional and efficient. All of my questions were answered.

They are the best! Took my 2.5 year old son with me to get my teeth cleaned. They cleaned his teeth too! To help him feel comfortable before they started he got to hold "Mr. Thirsty" while I got my teeth cleaned. He then got to watch them clean his teeth. Once he was done they even cleaned his doll's tooth! Very loving, kind & patient with my crazy toddler.

First Class Experience! Excellent business and nothing but caring people here to serve all of your dental requirements. Priority one was to make me comfortable and attend to my needs. From the beginning, Dr. Thomas and his staff have been wonderful. I originally booked an appointment last minute due to an issue. The took me right away and while I was Dentist phobic (had not been to one in years), the entire staff put me at ease. I was treated professionally and efficiently. I have been going since for regular check ups and I can't say enough about the practice.

My teeth are silky smooth and I'm ready to smile big! Julie, the Hygienist who took care of my cleaning today had the best personality. She was funny, personable and most importantly she shoe shined these teeth. A very thorough cleaning indeed. My last cleaning was in July of last year in Virginia. So I searched on yelp to find a good dental office here in SC to take care of my cleaning.
I narrowed it down to 2 choices and allow me to tell you with confidence- I will only be coming here again. The Dentist himself was super cool. He is a 2nd generation Dentist. His father was one while serving in the Navy. Salute. and it's funny because he was telling me about his visits to VA Beach and Norfolk (the area I'm from). So we were chatting about some of his favorite spots to visit. Also, as you leave there is a lovely woman offering you cupcakes :) The intake personnel who is in a couple of the photos on their page was super friendly. The entire office has a refreshing and light vibe to it. Offering: - accepts all insurance - uses digital x-rays - tv's in the rooms - goodie bag - snacks

I was referred here by a friend and I genuinely do like here and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new dentist. The staff are super sweet, kind, and very kid friendly! Everyone there made my son and I feel very comfortable which made the visit 10x better! I will definitely be coming back!!

I rate my first visit as excellent. Had x-rays taken as well as my teeth cleaned. V was wonderful. She was friendly, informative, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. She made me feel very comfortable before, during and after my cleaning was done. Dr. Thomas gave a thorough check of my teeth as well as mouth. The front desk staff were very friendly, made me feel welcome. My husband and I will be making this our home for our dental care.
