Drs. J and P are the best in the dentistry game There was a point when I had to switch providers due to plan limitations and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I bit the bullet and paid out of pocket to get back into their chair. It's inconvenient for me to get to the office from work and home but that doesn't matter. It's the best care one will ever receive. Irma, the Queen of Clean, is perfection!

Very professional and personable staff. Very clean office. Appreciated the special attention to air filtration and cleaning exam rooms between patients. Dr. Jonynas was fantastic. She patiently answered all of my questions and helped to lay out a plan for upcoming dental work. Irma did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. So happy to have found Smiles by Design and would recommend to family and friends.

After seeing this dentist for '15 years, and having no dental issues, she failed me entirely. We wanted to have an oral surgeon pull a perfectly healthy tooth, and she ignored the endodontist report that there was nothing wrong with the tooth. She refused to refill my prescriptions for antibiotics and relieve my pain becuase I wouldn't allow the healthy tooth to be pulled.

She betrayed my trust or was inept, and so I have found another dentist. 06/06/2022: Am updating my review to respond to the owner's response to my review. Yes, you did send me to two specialists, including an endodontist and an oral surgeon. It is the role of an endodontist to determine which teeth can be salvaged and which teeth must be removed.

The endodontist said that I needed only one tooth extracted becuase it was in fact cracked, but the oral surgeon that you sent me to wanted to extract another tooth as well, and it has healthy. When I went back to see you, you ignored the endodontists assessment that I needed only one extraction, and you sided with the oral surgeon who wished to extract not only a cracked tooth, but also a perfectly healthy tooth beside it.

I have all the paperwork to prove this, and so do you in your medical records. You imply that I asked you for further prescriptions for pain medication while waiting to seek a second opinion from another oral surgeon, which you knew was my plan. I did not ask you for more pain medication, but instead I asked you for more antibiotics to keep the infection in the tooth at bay until I could see the second oral surgeon, and you denied my request to write me a prescription for simple antibiotics.

This resulted in the infection returning and your own partner then wrote me a prescription for both antibiotics and pain management medication. And then I finally got in to see the second oral surgeon who YOU referred me to. I asked if you had sent him the endodontist report, and he said no. I had the endodontist report sent to his office, and based on the diagnosis from the endodontist, the oral surgeon YOU referred me to said that I needed only one tooth removed, not two.

Please recall that you yourself also said that I needed two teeth removed, ignoring the endodontist diagnosis. So I had the one tooth removed. And have had no trouble with the other, healthy tooth that YOU wanted to have extracted while ignoring the endodontist diagnosis that it was healthy. I'm sure you must be relieved to hear that becuase you failed me, I had only one tooth removed, and that the other tooth, which you wanted to remove, is still perfectly healthy. Good day.

I've been seeing Dr. Jonynas and Dr. Person for almost 20 years, and am always been treated with care and respect. They and their staff are the best.

Smiles By Design is the place go for any dental care needs. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate. What I value most, especially in this environment is how clean the operations are and the many safety protocols they have put in place.

The service and quality is good but they try really hard to upsell and cross-sell me a lot unnecessary services. I built a crown on or of my teeth and it was an unpleasant experience. I had been in pain for two months. After less than a year, the tooth became not savable, and I had to build a canal. Plus, the price after insurance copay is still higher than what my friend self-paid in another place.

I have established a wonderful professional relationship with Smiles By Design. From teeth cleaning, annual teeth/gum evaluation, Invisalign assessment/treatment to any possible situation that may occur. The staff and the office environment makes visits a pleasure. It's become family friendly.

Smiles By Design has the most current technology in the dental industry. Always a pain free and relaxing experience, I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Great blend of science and knowledgable people. You definitely can trust these guys!

SbD is a great experience! Dr J is an outstanding dentist; the hygienists are extremely competent; the reception and support staff are highly professional and the offices are safe, COVID-19 clean with upgraded air filtration! There could not be a better dentistry organization. I would highly recommend them.

Everyone at Smiles by Design is professional as well as personable. They are efficient in their work and never keep you waiting. I don't enjoy going to the dentist but I love Irma, she is most competent and keeps my teeth looking great. Dr. J works quickly and tells you what she is doing every step of the way. Their office has the latest technology and can take care of most problems within one visit. I wouldn't go anyplace else.
