There are so many things that I love about my work as a pediatric dentist. For one, I love to be goofy and silly, and to see children smile. I feel an innate desire to serve others, and providing children and their caregivers a service that fulfills their healthcare needs is what excites me most. I strive to help each child to navigate his or her journey through what can sometimes be challenging and stressful yet fun, rewarding, and formative experiences, sometimes all at once, in pursuit of health.
Carolina Pediatric Dentistry has a reputation for being among the best pediatric dental care providers for patients and their families in the greater Raleigh, NC area and across the state of North Carolina. This is due to our practice's commitment to delivering the highest standards of clinical care; the comprehensive and extensive nature of services we offer; our kid-friendly and fun office environment; and our highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced team members.
The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) was organized by the American Society of Dentistry for Children in 1940. It is the only ADA-recognized certifying board for the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Took my one year old to her first dental cleaning and it went better than what I expected. From the start of booking her appointment all the way to the end of the visit everyone was very helpful and kind. We are bilingual (Spanish) and I really liked that there are staff on board that can communicate with my daughter in spanish. The staff were all so patient with my daughter and her curios self wondering around the tablet section and back to the chair room. My daughter absolutely loved the little token gifts that they have. Needles to say my daughter is a forever patient here.

Love Dr Clark! He is so good with my 3.5 year old. I also like that the practice offers super early am appointments. I don't like how the staff do not wear name badges - it would be nice to know who is a hygienist, etc. I also understand that the setup isn't ideal for parents to accompany the kids back for treatments, but I felt like the person who brought my child back was irritated that my child wanted me to come back with her.

Although I did not attend with my son on his visit to this new dentist my husband said we really liked how attentive everyone at the office was with our son. He said everyone was so kind and patient with him.

LOVE Dr. Johnson, Dr. Morris and all of the staff at the Wake Forest Location. The only problem I have is with insurance and getting different prices at each visit. I blame that more on my insurance than the dentist office. My children have been going there for 20 years and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I am very disappointed with this practice. My kids have been patients for years, and it seems like every year the service is getting worse. After today's visit we have decided to transfer to a different practice, the one that actually lets the parents be present with the kids during a procedure, where the doctors talk to the parents about their concerns and where the front staff is polite and helpful. I do NOT recommend Carolina Pediatric Dentistry to anyone.

We had such a great, first experience! My son was feeling a little nervous going for his first dentist appointment and the entire team did a great job making him feel comfortable! I was able to be back there with him, which made me very happy. Dr. Morris and everyone involved were so great. Before he left he told the ladies at checkout that "this was the best day ever!" I'm so pleased!

Fraud! Will be reporting them! Yes, just like the other comments they don't want you to be in with your children. Also, one dentist said my daughter had 2 cavities, maybe 3. Which then turned into 5 cavities when seen by their other dentist one week later to do the actual work. The dentist did not explain anything and started drilling without telling me anything.

I said I thought it was 2 possibly 3 and she said that it was two more. They do this for the insurance money and I will definitely be reporting them! Drilling holes for no reason and fixing teeth that wasn't broke!

The mask mandates are over and this office needs to allow people to breathe freely inside the property. The receptionist is wearing 2 masks and telling clients who pay her salary that they can not be inside without wearing a mask. You would think a medical office would have enough sense to recognize what their client base wants and adhere to it.

The dentists seem perfectly competent and everyone is nice but it seems like a factory. They asked me to sign for nitrous for sealants. Without discussion. And totally unnecessary. No dentist told me what the X-rays showed, they sent a hygienist to tell me my child needed fillings. Went back another visit for fillings and they wouldn't allow me to walk my child back, which was a first for us.

The dentist didn't say a word to me before or after - did not even come talk to the parent. They had problems/errors with their records that required correction on my end (didn't acknowledge records I know had been sent, and had records saying they had done things they hadn't done). My opinion: It is a factory. They are trying to maximize profit and get kids in and out as fast as possible.

They are trying to upcharge for things like nitrous for sealants without discussing pros cons etc. The dentists don't have time to say anything to parents. And parents aren't allowed back. Not going back.

This place is terrible. If you want to have your child's teeth worked on look elsewhere. They will not let you accompany your child during treatment, they use tight anxiety blankets so the child can't move. They will gas your child with nitrous and work on them with other children all in one room. They couldn't keep their records straight and called my son, my daughter.

If a dentistry can't get the child's gender correct, how are they gonna get the work correctly done the first time? Highly Suggest If you love your Children to look elsewhere!

Absolutely the worst Pediatric dentist office ever, I should have checked reviews before I sent my son there. No professionalism whatsoever when it comes to patients care; just a reminder to these dentist you are dealing with (kids) and you should be a health professionals.

Dr. Johnson was one of my first experiences at the dentist as a child 18 years ago. I was one of those "tricky little, anxious children" that she talks about on her website. Over time I requested that parent be allowed to sit with me and that request was repeatedly denied until my parents demanded that they be allowed to see what was happening, but I still couldn't see them during the treatment time.

After that we never returned to her office. However 18 years later I am still terrified of the dentist due to the trauma of such an early dental experience at an early age. Parents please listen to your children and your gut, please insist on watching if something feels off.

The entire staff is very kind towards all patients, and they provide excellent care. During Covid-19 they have created safe protocols for everyone. Also, Anita was able to squeeze me in due to a cancellation which really helped out with my schedule. Overall, the best care!

Dr. Morris provided exceptional care to my son when we needed a second opinion about treatment, and he's been our dentist ever since. I highly recommend him. This practice is well managed and puts kids first.
