From Our Website

Through the remarkable efforts of a small staff and a robust volunteer team including medical and dental professionals, we focus on four essential areas: Medical, Dental, Food, Care + Prayer. Since 1982 we've been caring for people across southeast Michigan. We have grown from a weekend medical clinic to an operation with dozens of services, providing thousands of appointments, meals, and solutions for people in need. Each dollar you donate is multiplied in its impact, thanks to our network of volunteers and partners.

The dental clinic is now scheduling appointments for current patients and new patients from our wait list. The new patient waitlist is now closed until further notice. Everyone entering the building will receive a health screening and be required to wear a mask. A mask will be provided if you do not have one. You can get high quality dental care at the Hope Dental Clinic. You may be eligible based on family size and income, so bring proof of income and photo ID. Unfortunately, we are unable to see you in the dental clinic if you have any form of dental insurance.

Hope Clinic was founded in 1982 by Dr. Daniel Heffernan. Dr. Heffernan saw the challenges many individuals and families faced trying to obtain adequate healthcare without insurance. He responded by gathering a group of volunteers who opened a Saturday morning walk-in clinic. The clinic was housed in borrowed space, serving patients, expecting nothing in return. As the clinic grew, the volunteers noticed other needs in the community. In 1984, Hope Clinic opened a food pantry for clients, and three years later became incorporated with a Board of Directors.
