What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position? I did the dental assisting program in high school. I have been a dental assistant for 5 years and have worked here at Holt Dental Care for the last 4 years! What do you like about working at Holt Dental Care? Dr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam and moved to Utah when she was sixteen and went to Granger High School. She then went on to graduate from the U of U in biochemistry. GO UTES! She went on to attend The Ohio State University College of Dentistry to earn her DDS degree. Following dental school she moved to Texas.

I had not been to the dentist for over 7 years. To say the least, I was very hesitant to go but I had broken a crown and needed to see a dentist. Dr, . Holt was referred to me by my daughter-in-law. I called on a Monday, got an appointment on Tuesday. Ashley, the hygienist, was very thorough and took the necessary time to clean my teeth. Dr. Holt then reviewed my x-rays and came up with the plan what needed to be done and the costs involved. Very happy with my new dentist and I have subsequent appointments to complete the work plus a 6-month cleaning!

Super friendly staff. I'm not related to the Dr but he is great too! I had to bring my 3 yr old with me, and she loves making friends so it helped that the staff was kid friendly and didn't mind her hanging out with them occasionally. Happy I've found a dentist close to home that is comfortable and nice.

Going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do. It's been a few years and I was definitely nervous to be there. Heather (hygienist) was so genuine and easy to talk to. She took great care of my teeth and gums, and I liked that she explained everything she was doing. Dr. Holt was kind and worked quickly so I could get my daughter to school. My nerves were eased and look forward to establishing care with their office.

Dr holt is so friendly and fun while at the same time being professional. I always look forward to my visit at his office is from the staff and bright personality. I love the work he's done on my teeth in the care he gets me, I can really feel it well in his chair. He talked me about current dental conditions in my mouth andy he future and how to plan & preserve my teeth. I've had some problems with grinding, and some facial injury. I'm grateful for the care he in his office have given me.
He has a tight schedule, because people love him, but his office is good at working me in for an emergency. He has the most up to date equipment, and worked well coordinating with my oral surgeons office.

I just want to tell everyone about my experience with getting a cavity filled by Dr. Holt. This was only my second filling, so I actually was a little nervous because I couldn't remember if it was going to hurt or not. But it didn't at ALL. They numbed me up topically before even giving me the shot, and I didn't feel a thing when they were working.
Even afterwards, I thougth my jaw might be sore where I had received the shot, but it wasn't! I was in and out of there in less than an hour, and my mouth felt great. Dr. Holt made sure that my bite was even so that I wouldn't feel lop sided when I bit down, and the numbness wore off so quickly that I didn't have to drool my drink down the front of me when I went to lunch afterwards! : I definitely recommend Dr. Holt and his practice to anyone who wants a fast, easy, pain free experience. The staff is very nice and professional and overall, it's just a great environment. Thanks for taking such good care of me, Dr. Holt!
