Dr. Gustavsen attended Walla Walla College and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1988. After practicing in Terrace, British Columbia, he opened his practice in Walla Walla in 2002. He constantly furthers his knowledge base to serve his patients. He is very interested in total health care and how the the body functions as a whole. He has received commendations from the American Dental Association for his charitable work in Cameroon, West Africa and Mexico.

Dr. Gustavsen has been practicing as a dentist since 1988. He attended Walla Walla College as an undergraduate and from there went on to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California. Before relocating back to Walla Walla, Dr. Gustavsen spent thirteen years practicing dentistry along the coast of northwestern British Columbia.

The service and personal attention and care that I receive at Southpoint Dental is top notch. I feel like from the moment I walk in the door the receptionist and manager at the front desk are welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hygienists are very friendly, put you at ease, answer questions and just make the whole experience very positive and easy. And Dr. Gustavsson is great- he is kind, personable, professional and efficient. I trust their judgment and really believe that they have my best in mind.

Dr. Gustavsen is thorough, and doesn't "slid things under the carpet" that should be taken care of. He has turned around my mouth health. And at 60 years of age, I got my teeth straightened with Invisalign! Dr. G and staff have been great, and the process painless. I am VERY excited with my new smile.

Staff always greets you and they are very polite. I would recommend South Point Dental to any one that is seeking the best dental care in town. I've been coming to Southpoint Dental for all my teeth needs FOR YEARS. i absolutely love everyone there. The gals at the front always greet me and my dental hygienist is always so sweet and attentive. The Dr listens to any of my concerns and does a good job when he comes to check on my teeth. I am very happy with the service and always leave in a good mood. I highly recommend Southpoint Dental to anyone looking for a dentist and a friendly environment

The nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to see every six months or so! Excellent office staff, excellent dental care, excellent experience. I started going there after suffering poor dental care for a decade. It's amazing what you put up if you don't know any better. Southpoint does a great job and went to bat for me with my insurance company, saving me hundreds of dollars.
They were also extraordinarily careful and thoughtful about precautions throughout the pandemic. I felt safer there than at any other health clinic I visited. I rarely leave Google reviews, but these people deserve every compliment for what they do. I've convinced my whole family to go there, and they have nothing but good things to say about their experiences.
