Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact Dr. Grizzaffi provides many types of dental services; various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure.
For our patients' convenience, we have arranged a payment plan through a third party that helps our patients receive their treatment in a timely manner. Please be advised that we are happy, for most of our patients, to process your insurance claims on your behalf, and wait for payment. Unfortunately, most insurance companies can take as long as four to six weeks to pay the office.

Haven't been here, won't go here - receptionist was exceptionally rude with my partner when making an appointment for me - he has all my information, and other doctor's offices have been able to accommodate the scheduling. He explained that I have high anxiety about going to the dentist, scheduling an appointment is anxiety inducing itself, and I didn't want to deal with the scheduling. Receptionist was the typical type you often deal with in doctor's offices - arrogant, condescending - "well then how is she even going to come to the office?" For a place that specializes in DENTAL ANXIETY, you'd think they'd be more accommodating. I'm so tired of receptionists who are on a power trip. Also, consider entering this century, email communication is the norm, and it wastes less of my time and yours.

It is great working with Dr. Grizzaffi. He is very gentle in his touch and he gives you should greatest comfort that it will be better after your consultation with him. I had to search out Dr. Grizzaffi for his abilities because my kids just raved about how gentle he was in dealing with them so as I needed him I searched for his services and I love it.

I've been going to Dr. Grizzaffi for over 10 years. I have a horrible fear of going to the dentist because I experience a lot of pain in my jaw due to TMJ. Dr. Grizzaffi is so gentle and makes me feel comfortable whenever I go in for an appointment. I have used the sedation dentistry for several procedures and his staff is really great

Recently our daughter needed dental care, and she is the type of kid who is extremely nervous visiting a dentist. She had very bad experiences in her previous visits so we were looking for someone who was kind, gentle and who would put their patients at ease. Dr Grizzaffi was all that and more. He took excellent care of our daughter and after the procedure she is much better and in no pain. Thank you, Dr Grizzaffi - you are the best!

Such a stroke of luck that a Google search helped me find this amazing dentist. I've seen probably 20 in my life. I have such PTSD and scars from prior experiences with subpar dentists in at least 4 states, I neglect my dental health routinely because I simply don't have the guts to go until there's a problem. Dr Grizzaffi is a caring, attentive, empathetic dental professional and I couldn't more highly recommend him, as a medical professional myself.

Dr. Grizzaffi is great. He does excellent work, makes good recommendations, and cares about his patients. The man is patient and gentle. I recommend him, fully. If you're shy about seeing the Dentist, Dr. Grizzaffi offers IV sedation. These procedures are a breeze for us patients and you should definitely give it a try if you're apprehensive about dental work.

I've been with Dr. Grizzaffi since he started in practice at another location. I have a dental phobia and had IV sedation for 20 years. While I still would need it for a complicated procedure, I've been able to "graduate" to Nitrous and headphones with him. He is extremely gentle and caring, and his staff is as well. I don't think I will ever switch!

I'm pretty sure that Dr. Grizzaffi will be my dentist until he retires. Dr. G and his staff really go way above and beyond to make my trip to the dentist an extremely comfortable visit and believe it or not it's actually enjoyable. No more postponing going to the dentist for me! His work is pain free and outstanding. I constantly get compliments on my smile. My oral health is in great shape for the first time in years! I highly recommend a Dr. Michael Grizzaffi and his amazing staff.

Even though I now live on the west coast I always schedule a visit with Dr. Grizzaffi when I'm visiting family in New Jersey. He and his staff are fantastic with their patients. Dr. Grizzaffi is one of the best dentists I've ever been to. He's very professional and always explains what he's going to do before he does it. He makes visiting the dentist a pleasure.

Michael Grizzaffi has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He is caring, understanding, PATIENT, and willing to go above and beyond what is needed to fix ANY dental problem, and caters to those who are reluctant to see the dentist. YOU are in good hands, literally, if you see this gem of a dentist. We are happy and totally satisfied with all of his work that he has performed, from simple fillings to root canals.
