Dr. Ron Riebschleger ( known as Dr. Ron to his patients) and the friendly, skilled GDC staff invite you to try us for a truly unique and surprisingly enjoyable dental experience. We realize it can be a bit stressful at the dentist, but we do our best to make it stress free! Whether it is cosmetic dentistry to toothaches, periodontal / general cleanings to all out full mouth restorations - we can do it for you. We can even do braces if needed! Our Practice Report

Originally built in the 1860s, our home / office was created by one of Rockford's founding fathers. We emphasize our patients' comfort by providing TVs in every operatory, featuring your choice of movies and television, as well as massaging dental chairs. Blankets, pillows and many other amenities are also available.

Meet the Doctor & Staff Report

Although sometimes whacky (in a good way), the staff at GDC is always professional and have been working together as a team for many years. All are cross trained and are experiences at all roles in the dental office. Even Dr Ron is able to answer the phones and navigate the computer system--so don't be scared if you get his voice (rarely) when calling the office.

Involvement in Education Report

Due to our child friendly policy and downtown location, we often have tours of the practice for local school children and groups. We teach them about the importance of brushing and flossing and show them that going to the dentist can be fun! This way, the next time they come in for a cleaning, they will not be afraid.

Orthodontic Report

We do braces for Children AND Adults in this office! Because we are a general dental office, we know our patients' needs and our patients feel comfortable with our staff. We will only refer you to a specialty office in extremely difficult cases. We have close relationships with nearby orthodontists that will be able to provide you with the care you need!

LONG TERM PATIENT EXPERIENCE. I have been going Grand Dental to see Dr. Riebschleger and his wonderful staff since I was in 6th Grade. Back then I didn't have a choice but now as a 24 year old that is 75 miles away I will ALWAYS make the journey to go see them. Throughout my years going here I have given them every problem from ripping wires out of braces to them reminding me that I should be flossing and they can tell.

They have always treated me with kindness and patience. My only problem is I hope y'all aren't mad when the whole practice has to shut down for a day so I can have my Grand Dental family come to my wedding.

Wasn't happy with my current dentist. I was always treated poorly and could never get a call to the front desk to even get an appointment time without feeling like I was their problem. This all changed when I called these guys for the first time. I was greeted with kindness like I was an old friend. They were more than happy to fit me in.

This place is phenomenal! I called my regular dentist to get in for some tooth pain & they were out 2 weeks for an xray. I called Grand Dental & they got me in the next day. I was so impressed by their customer service that my previous dentist was 5 minutes from my house & this one is 30 minutes and I am going to be making the drive just to come here. Hands down best dentist I've been to in my life.

I transferred to Grand dental about 3 years ago. Usually they (dentists) scare me away very quickly, so 3 years for me is like 30 for everyone else. Dr. Ron is amazing, he has a calming manner, very humorous, patient and he is well attuned to my fears despite us never speaking of the history that caused it. I do and would highly recommend his services.

Dr Ron and his staff are great! My two children and I recently switched to their office and they were so caring and compassionate! I got a new crown and it was quick and painless. Kind of looking forward to going back to cavity fill in a couple weeks! LOL

I'm a newer patient, with decades of fear of dentist. But Dr. Ron and his staff have been amazing and understanding with my fear and each visit have made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend anyone with dental anxiety to give this staff a try.
