Services
From subtle changes to major repairs, the dentists of Goers Dental Care can perform a variety of procedures to improve your smile. We use many techniques and options to treat teeth that are discolored, chipped, missing, or crooked. Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns and can perfect a patient's smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment and creating uniformity. A veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth either to protect it, or more commonly, to enhance its appearance.
Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns and can perfect a patient's smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment and creating uniformity. A veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth either to protect it, or more commonly, to enhance its appearance. There are certain advantages to porcelain veneers over other veneers.
Significantly whiter teeth are possible using advanced teeth whitening techniques. Both comfortable and affordable, one whitening procedure involves the patient wearing a specially crafted tray for as little as half an hour in order to achieve a surprising difference in a smile. Another whitening procedure - professional tooth whitening (also known as "chairside bleaching") - usually requires just one office visit. First a light-cured protective layer is painted on the gums to reduce the risk of chemical burns to the soft tissues.
The ClearCorrect system uses aligners (like fitted mouth guards) made of strong, clear plastic that gently and gradually guide the teeth into alignment. Unlike metal braces, the aligners have no wires or brackets. If a patient is a good candidate for ClearCorrect aligners, one of our dentists will take photos and x-rays, use a scanner or impressions to capture the shape of the teeth, and submit a prescription to ClearCorrect. A series of aligners are customized to apply pressure to the teeth the patient wants to move.

Always a great experience at Goers. Lynda was fantastic as usual and Dr. Grace stopped in during my cleaning just to check in and say "Hey." You can tell that customer care is a high priority for the good folks at Goers Dental. -Dr. LeVar J. Ammons

After going thur decades of unpleasant and negative dental experiences. I was over joyed with my last experience at Goers Dental. I had a deep root scaling done and it was an unbelievably positive experience. It was the only time I actually felt better, not sore at all. And the the care taken and professionalism was top notch. The only time in my life that I am eager to go back to the dentist! Thanks Goers.

I have been a patient of Goers Dental Care for over 25 years. I have found them to be the best dentist I have ever been a patient of. They are the best. Not only do they makes sure my teeth are strong, but they make sure my teeth look as nice as possible. This is important to me. I now live over 35 minutes away, but I wouldn't even consider getting a closer dentist to my home. I trust Dr. Ron and his staff.

Well now, just finished having Dr. Ron, remodel my mouth! I now, once again, cannot wait to have something to smile about! I and my family have had our teeth and mouths serviced since 1982, HE IS AN ARTIST! Even his staff is excellent! And Lori is fantastic in keeping him focused on the job at hand!

Today was my third visit with the Goers Dental office. It was my 6 month check. My family has found this office to the most professional of any of the Dentist we have used in the past. From the time you schedule to the visit they have excellent systems and are on time. I love my 7 am appointments times. They practice all the latest in Covid protocols.

Your safety, comfort and heath are their top priority. Elizabeth my regular Hygienist is very knowledgeable and includes you in her findings as she moves around your examination. I highly recommend looking at Goers if your new to the area or considering a change in Dentists. I also think the annual program you can sign up for is a bargain and worth the investment in your heath and the heath of your teeth.

I've been going to Goers since about 2001 and have always been made to feel very welcomed, respected, comfortable & appreciated there. The entire staff is professional, caring and down-to-earth. Dr. Goers and Dr. Castro are AWESOME! The hyghygienists are all fantastic! The place is very clean, well-organized and warm. In fact, my two children have been going there since they were toddlers and now they're teens--and to this day, they enjoy going to the dentist!

They love the experience there, including wearing cool shades as their teeth are getting cleaned. LOL! In 2014 we moved further away from Goers, but we still remain loyal to them. They treat you like family and I will continue taking mine there for years to come. Thank you, Goers Dental!

The staff is super pleasant, efficient and diligent. I had an appointment today and was blown away by the protective and safety measures they are taking because of COVID. During my cleaning, staff continually asked me: "Everything ok?" (I have periodontal disease). " Would you like to be numbed further?" etc. Very courteous and caring. I recommend Goers Dental Care without hesitation.

This place is literally a scam. I asked for a teeth cleaning and checkup. They told me I needed X-rays that weren't necessary. And charged me $200 for them! I provided them with my insurance info prior to the appointment, they lied and said they didn't have it. They charged me nearly $400 and did no dental work. It was bizarre. Everyone there seems super nice, but they essentially use their hygienists as salesman and then refuse to take your insurance. Anyway, stay away from this place.

They are not trying to help you, they're trying to get as much money as possible from you. And, they slip in a $20 Covid fee onto the receipt. Please stay away from this place. There are a lot of other dentists that care about the well-being of their patients-instead of just their bottom line.

Definitely the best dental experience I have ever had. The whole facility was very clean and everyone took the necessary Covid precautions. Allison cleaned my teeth and let me just say she did a GREAT job! I highly recommend Goers Dental care!

The staff of Goers Dental Care was all friendly and helpful. Mary Ann (the receptionist) was persistent in calling us to inform us that there's an available slot (thanks to her) that's why I was able to have a consultation. Then I've had SRP/Deep Cleaning on my teeth. Allison (my hygienist) was amazing. She did an awesome job on my teeth and gums. Allison was very informative.

While she was doing the procedure, she was explaining every detail of what she's been doing and explains why she needed to do it. I've had 3 sessions including my consultation with her and it was all fun times. Painless and very comfortable sessions. It feels like I was just hanging out with my friend while she was doing extensive work on my mouth.

I am so glad that I've found someone to look after my teeth that I can trust. Dr. Grace was good and nice too. She was the dentist of my husband. Oh, they are very careful too with this pandemic. They will call a day before your schedule and will ask you some COVID 19 questions, then they will check your temperature before you enter the clinic. They have a designated pen, gloves, for every patient, and hand sanitizers were provided in a very clean clinic.

I absolutely love Goers Dental! From the time you are greeted at the front desk until you leave the office, professionalism abounds. Elizabeth is an exceptional hygienist. Dr. Goers and Dr. Grace are so thorough and very personable. The office is immaculate. The COVID-19 process Goers Dental has in place is absolutely fantastic. I'm amazed at the time they took to ensure patients are in such a sterile environment. I would absolutely recommend Goers Dental to anyone, and I have. My entire family goes to Goers Dental.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ron since I was a little kid, over 20 years and I plan to remain a patient at his office. Everyone does a nice clean job with cleanings and all the staff is very kind. If you need a procedure, the dentists explain why you need it in a very honest and comforting way. The customer service goes a long way too. They offer you a warm neck pillow, music of your choice, sunglasses, etc to make the visit or procedure as comfortable as possible. They also call you that evening and/or next day after a procedure to see how you are feeling. I recommend him to friends. It will be sad when he retires!

The staff at Goers Dental are very kind and caring. But the prices for services are astronomical compared to my new dentist who delivers the same level of expertise. I had DeltaDental insurance from the State of Illinois and they were slow to pay, so I had to pay up front for services. However, the state finally paid them over $2090 ($1789 for charges and + $301.29 interest) on Nov 29, 2017 for services I paid them for already.

I still have not been reimbursed despite a written request over a month ago and 2 phone calls. They wanted to charge me over $9700 for single crown and a crown bridge. My new dentist who is in network says my out of pocket costs for the same work plus another triple crown, 2 fillings, and an extraction is $1265. So glad I changed!

First of all, let me start by saying that I am the biggest baby when it comes to the dentist. I don't understand it, but I get myself so worked up and nervous, it takes everything I have to walk into that office. I have been going here for the last 4 years. I now have my two collage-age daughters and husband going here. I also recommended someone I work with who now uses this dentist for himself and his family.

I can't say enough nice things about this group. From the front desk to the dentists, it is a top notch operation. Dr. Grace is my regular dentist and she is the gentlest, kindest, sweetest lady I know. Dr. Goers has done some emergency work for me and once again, amazing. I recently had an implant placed in my jaw. I was so nervous, that I was in tears at the beginning.

It was done within an hour and I was in no pain during the procedure nor at any time after, I am still in shock over that. Everything was explained in great detail and I was treated so well, I can't say enough nice things about Sarah and Dr. Micaletti they were so good to me. Dr. Goers called me yesterday afternoon after the implant procedure just to see how I was feeling. I am still apprehensive about going to the dentist, but this team has made it so much easier and for that, I am eternally grateful, God bless you all!

Very Good Dentist but very expensive. Even though I had insurance that covered 100% out of network bi-annual cleanings and exam, Goers was above and beyond customary charges for Dentists in the area and I had a significant payment, whereas I had gone to out of network dentists with the same insurance for no extra costs. I could not continue to go to them because I can't afford it even with insurance. Yes, they were very good and knowledgeable but too expensive.

If Dr. Goers ever would retire, I'd probably never go to a dentist again. I changed dentists about 20 years ago after a very, very painful experience with a former dentist. if that's what you can call him. After my first appointment with Dr. Goers, I knew immediately I had found my forever dentist. I'm 67 so over the years I've had numerous appointments and procedures.

I can honestly say not one single time have I had ANY discomfort during a procedure. Also, his technicians and staff are the kindest people I've ever met. I've told them before that when I go there, it's probably the most relaxing and calmest hour of my entire week. You won't be one bit disappointed and I promise you that.

I have been going to Goers for about 2 years now. This is the first dental office where I actually feel comfortable when I walk in. The staff is so nice and sweet and they take the time to know their patients on a first name basis. I can't tell you how comforting it is to walk into their office and be addressed on a first name basis - without having to sign in or check in.

They know me, they know my dental history and they are fabulous. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that the experience is positive. During a recent visit, I needed to have a great deal of work done but needed to be out of their office at a specific time in order to get to another appointment that day. Dr. Goers made sure that everything was completed within my time frame.

I had to run out of the office before I could go over the details of the work they had completed and they ladies took the time to call me later that day to go over the work, etc., and to assist in setting up the next scheduled appointment. Dr. Goers even called me later that evening to see how I was feeling and to make sure everything was good. They have early morning hours that work great for me and I can't say enough wonderful things about this office and the staff and the top of the line equipment. Dr. Goers is a wonderful dentist, but more importantly, he is a kind and caring human being that truly cares about the well being of his patients.

My family and I have had nothing but excellent service from all the staff members at Goers Dental Care. You are not just another body with a dollar sign as some other local dental offices in the area treat you. They are caring and compassionate and everyone goes out of their way to get to know you. Dental work is not cheap, and insurance pays for very little these days, they are straight forward and upfront about fees and are willing to work with you on payments. I have and will continue to recommend this practice.

I went to a consultation for veneers and the staff is falsely nice while their main objective is to convince you into getting other more costly services that you do not need. I came in for composite veneers and the doctor tried to offer me Invisalign. My teeth are perfectly straight, completely unrelated to my dental issues! None of my concerns were addressed. Dr Castro is a deceiver. Another dentist has confirmed that I would be an excellent candidate for veneers not Invisalign! Don't waste your time. Not trustworthy.

DO NOT GO HERE. PERIOD. Why? Here goes: I went to many bad and uncaring dentists as a child. When I needed braces in high school, I had to find a dentist to handle cleanings and checkups. Me and my mom decided to go to Goer's. Never have I been treated so poorly and made to feel so bad about myself than here at this place. I was in for the first cleaning and checkup, and because I hadn't been to a dentist for years, I knew I would have cavities and my teeth wouldn't be perfect.

I even remember joking to them about just that, trying to make light of the situation and put myself at ease. After a long cleaning and too many X-rays, it came time for them to count and map out the cavities. They kept going and going, and when they were finally done, she told me I had 14 cavities. I said, "Oh my god, how many?" And THIS, I will NEVER forget.

She scrunched up her nose in a disapproving look and said "14. yeah, " in a very demeaning way, like she was disgusted with me. I was told to sit in the waiting room while my mom figured out a payment plan. I began crying because I knew it would cost a sum, and because of that I knew it would be awhile until I got the smile I so desperately wanted, and because I felt poorly treated. An assistant came out and said she forgot to do a fluoride treatment and called me back in.

They KNEW I was upset and crying, but said nothing of it. Later, I found out it would cost over a grand for each side of the mouth, just for cavities. Why that much? Probably to pay for their lavish and newly remodeled office. On top of this, they messed up my Mom's teeth as well. She had root canal, which went bad when she came home and became swelled and infected.

They admitted the next day they did something wrong. She had to get a tooth pulled, and because it was infected, it probably had a smell to it. Instead of being courteous, the dentist woman and her assistant looked at each other while they were pulling it out and made waving movements with their hands and made "Wheew!" noises to each other. REALLY? OH, and on top of THAT, my mom still had to pay for it. Everything. Here's the kicker!

I recently went to Grove Dental in Downers Grove, who are incredible and the most caring and compassionate people who actually cared that I was not happy with my smile and put aside the cavities for the future to make me happy now. (Head over to Downers Grove Dental page to read my story). They actually asked me how I felt about my teeth, something Goer's never even cared to consider.

And would you just guess how many cavities they told me I had? 6. That's right, less than half what Goer's was expecting me to fix and pay them for. So there you go. If you want to be treated poorly, made to be felt bad about yourself, and pay an enormous price for things you don't need and to pay for their new renovations, by all means go here. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Very professional, friendly, and understanding. Would highly recommend! The staff a re all incredibly nice and outgoing. Always looking to make the experience comfortable. I have chronic migraines, and the doctors and staff are so understanding and constantly go out of their way to help in any way they can.

I am not a patient, yet, but wanted to write a review about the care they have given my dad (87 years old) for years. EVERYONE at this dental office is absolutely wonderful. The care they show to not just my dad, but myself and all their patients I'm sure is above and beyond what you would expect. I feel like we are part of their family. Dr. Goers has been nothing but exceptional.

My dad recently had to have a root canal and he called at 8:30pm to check on him. Dad had no pain, no complications - other than the numbness, you wouldn't have known he had anything done. This dental office is beginning to take away the fear I have of dentists. This will be the only place I would trust for my dental care.

Don't go here! I moved to Willowbrook awhile ago and I needed to see a dentist because I was having pain in my tooth. I saw a young woman dentist (don't remember her name) who was very nice and told me I needed a root canal. In the past I've always gone to an endodontist for a root canal but she said she could do it for me. I thought great.

Well the next day I woke up and I had a swollen face and a small lump on my gum above my tooth. I went back and she gave me an antibiotic and told me to come back in a week. Well it didn't go away in a week and she claimed it was nothing but sent me to an endodontist. He didn't know what it was either and after several visits I gave up and decided to go back to my dentist in Des Plaines. Turned out it was blood that built up from her puncturing my tooth with her instrument and I needed oral surgery. 2,000 later and its fixed.

I would love to sue but it's one dentists word over another. If you need a root canal go to an endodontist. Don't let a regular dentist do it. They don't know what they are doing and could really screw up your mouth. The staff was nice and so was the dentist but I wouldn't even go there for a cleaning. I'd be too afraid of what they do to the rest of my mouth.
