Dr. Glen Atlas, a board certified anesthesiologist with over 12 years experience, and a group of select dentists, now offer dental patients the chance to receive anesthesia for dental procedures. Dr. Atlas is an full professor, in the department of anesthesiology, at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Atlas uses a well-recognized anesthetic technique known as "sedation analgesia" or "conscious sedation." This technique allows patients to be extremely comfortable and sedated. Patients, who have previously been unable to tolerate any dentistry, have been delighted with "waking up" and knowing that their procedure has been completed.

We are so grateful for Dr. Atlas (along with Dr Ferguson' dental team) for taking such wonderful care of our daughter during her dental procedure. Dr. Atlas was caring, attentive and professional every step of the way. He explained the procedure to us beforehand and made sure to build a friendly rapport with our daughter before it started. Afterwards, he stayed as long as it took for her to be ready to go home. He also checked in on us a couple of times despite having a busy schedule. Thank you!

Having never had an oral surgery or any surgery for that matter, I was terrified. Dr. Atlas was truly incredible and made my first root canal, and anesthetic experience absolutely painless. Would HIGHLY recommend him, he makes patients feel safe and comfortable always knows how to ease patients fears! Wonderful job! :

Dr. Atlas provided exceptional care and service for our daughter today. He called two days in a row to ensure we were clear about the diet instructions prior to her surgery. On the day of the surgery. Dr. Atlas went through all the procedures, precautions, pre and post surgery information and such thoroughly. His communication was direct, clear and precise.
He made sure our daughter was fine before sending her home. He even wheeled our daughter out and helped her into our car in pouring rain! My daughter shared with us that he was so funny, nice and made her comfortable throughout! We are grateful to him for taking care of our daughter!

Dr. Atlas is probably the best Anesthesiologist that ever lived. He is beyond knowledgeable and has personally gotten me thru 2 very difficult Dental/Surgical procedures. He has all kinds of professional credentials and accolades in accordance with an empathetic bedside manner. He goes above and beyond for his patients and has treated me as If I were family.
He is literally available 24-7 to answer questions no matter how busy he is. On top of it all his rates are very reasonable and provides whatever is necessary for insurance. Doesn't get any better.

Dr. Glen Atlas was the Anesthesiologist for my 2nd root canal on the same tooth. I was terrified! Dr. Atlas contacted me twice before the surgery, and he explained the whole procedure to my husband and I. After the root canal, Dr. Atlas called, 3 times, to certify that I was fine. He promised that he would take care of me, and he did. Kindness emanates from Dr. Atlas. He breathes confidence back into our fearful hearts. Dr. Atlas know his stuff! I recommend Dr. Atlas for the most difficult assignment.

The preparation for oral surgery was comprehensive, the process of going under was done well, but maybe the best part was how good I felt when I awoke. I've never been so clear-headed and back to normal so quickly while undergoing general anesthesia before in my life. Kudos to a real pro! I recommend Dr Atlas to anyone who needs anesthesia. He's the best I've had!
