Update on Dr. Ghodsi he indeed billed my insurance AND attempted to charge $475 for the CT scan which I would have been responsible for. AGAIN after I was told on 2 occasions that the unessary CT would not be charged! Had I been intimidated by this Dentist as he tried I would be out $625 for absolutely nothing! Please beware!

Haven't been to a dentist in Years had an amazing cleaning today done by the amazing Hygienist Ben. Love the Staff at Lasting Smiles.

I would give 10 stars if I could! I have a deep fear of the dentist and the thought of going has prevented me for about 3 years since I moved away from my other dentist who did sedation. I also had a health condition in 2019 which greatly affected my teeth. They didn't try to oversell me on things I didn't need OR make me feel bad for not having a routine cleaning.

The sedation process was seamless, and I had very minimal memory after. The environment here is so calming, and the staff are all great and kind. I am so happy I found a dentist that makes me feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

Doctor is junk, has zero knowledge, installed teeth wrong, scammed us out of thousands of dollars. Don't go here.

The fact that you are sharing a patients insurance carrier name on an open site such as Google is unprofessional and says a lot about your office in general. I had considered setting an appointment for my dental needs based on your reviews, regardless of the negative ones. However, I have now changed my mind.

I really love this dentist office! Every time I go there, I NEVER feel a thing. The staff are friendly, the dentists are very competent, and the birds are lovely. I am so happy with the way my teeth look! Thanks, Dr. Ma!

Dr. Ma and the entire staff at Lasting Smiles are fantastic! Always friendly, courteous, professional AND fast! I used to dread going to the dentist (30 plus fillings in my lifetime) but no more! If I could give them a 10 star rating I would! Keep up the great service!

The team at Lasting Smiles has literally changed my husband's life. Years of tooth pain, being self conscious of his smile and never feeling confident had taken a toll on him. Every single person at Lasting Smiles has been wonderful to work with. They made him feel comfortable, answered all of our questions and took such great care of him. I cannot say enough great things about the dentists, the nurses, the front staff, they have all been absolutely amazing!

I grew up in the military and was experienced on as a child by the military dentist. It was always a painful experience and have a fear of dentist's to this day. Lasting smiles was the best experience I've ever had. I had 2 crowns that broke and needed 2 implants put in. I slept through the entire process and do not remember a single moment. Very friendly and I will be back for future work

I had A LOT of dental work to be done and have always had a anxiety issue with dentists. After a tooth broke while on vacation, I decided to look up a dentist that uses sedation and I'm happy I did! Lasting smiles did an excellent job at fixing my grill. I had the wisdom teeth removed, a few cavities filled and a handful of root canal's which luckily I was able to get done in one setting while knocked out.

Very professional and helpful and I HIGHLY recommend lasting smiles! I don't remember a thing about the procedures and was very comfortable during my appointment. 4 month later and have zero issues with the work that was performed.

I went in for an emergency visit. My tooth had broken at the gum line. The wonderful ladies in the front office worked their magic & got me in the same day. Had to get an implant, never had one before and was really scared. Dr. Ma was amazing, I was sedated and treated with the utmost care and respect. To my amazement, I was in little to no pain, mild discomfort to be expected. If for any reason you need to get an implant or any dental work done I highly recommend Lasting Smiles and their whole crew.

I wonder if the owners are aware that Joanna was responsible for the loss of 4 patients because of her poor customer service. As they cancelled my end of the year cleaning (must have only 1 hygienist). I asked if this service can be rolled over into the new year. Joanna was not accommodating and quickly said she would be more than happy to send my records to another office of my choice. Other staff has always been great. Get rid of Joanna, she is horrible.

DR MA & Slyvia are THE BEST! Totally painless root canal. I am one of those that have dentist phobia and this entire office is making me a believer again. The staff (Hey Ms Janice) is awesome! But Dr Ma! She is a consummate professional helping me to be healthy from the inside out! Slyvia worked with Dr Ma instinctivley so well. I didnt realize root canal was over + 5 stars

I went in for a cleaning and exam as a new patient this afternoon after not being in for nearly 18 months, owing primarily to the pandemic and not feeling well. My hygienist, was wonderful and so kind, as was the dentist who performed my exam. The office staff was extremely friendly, and everything was contact less and sanitized, so I felt at ease. Will be returning!

Had an all on 4 dental implants done yesterday morning and it was not what I expected. pain yesterday evening when I got home but today has been very comfortable. Very little pain and I'm able to function. The staff and doctors took very good care of me and I'm super happy with my results so far.

UPDATE: Lasting Smiles asked me to take down my reviews on Yelp and Google. I told them I would update my reviews, but due to this unethical request and the unnecessary hassle I had to go through, I will still rate them as 1/5 stars. After 2 long months of multiple phone calls to my insurance and the office, emails to the Dental Board and other associations, and my reports to the Better Business Bureau, Lasting Smiles finally decided to adjust my charges.

Some patients would probably prefer to pay an unjust charge instead of going through this effort and time. As someone who works in Healthcare, I personally think it is important to advocate for yourself and what is right. I was a patient here for years, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND this dentist anymore. There is a high turnover rate of dentists, which also says something.

I broke my upper retainer and came in to get it replaced. They put me in a room and gave me a bib. The manager came inside and stated that since my insurance doesn't cover retainers, it would cost $450. I called other dentists and found the average cash price to be $150-250. They kept coming in asking if I still wanted to get a retainer from them.

I then went to the front desk and said that I would not be seen or proceed with getting a retainer. 1.5 weeks later, they sent me a message saying I owe $46 for a dental exam that my insurance wouldn't cover. The dentist, a hygienist, or actual healthcare professional didn't even come to the room to talk to me about my health, look in my mouth, or examine me!

They are unwilling to change the claim filed to my insurance even though no services were provided. As someone who works in the medical field, this is fraud. I never bill insurance or visits to patients who aren't seen or treated. I literally just saw the manager, who told me the price of the retainer. Oh also, they charged my dad $4500 for an emergency procedure. Overall, just don't come here even though the birds in front of the exam rooms are cute. There are definitely other dentists nearer to you who actually care about your health and want to help you.

This is the best dentist I've ever been to hands down. I am such a chicken when it comes up to needles especially in my mouth. The employee (Christina) was sooo smooth with the needle that I didn't feel a thing. I can also tell that she takes pride in her work. When she was done, she went back to see if she missed any spots for my deep cleaning as she retouched anything that had to be retouched which wasn't much at all.

I have also been here two other times prior. their service and their work is just the best! Friendly people with a smile and a great attitude and big personalities Are the only people that work here. Thank you guys.

Got 2 implants for $900 more than my dentist was quoting me for 1. Staff is very friendly. Dr. Ghodsi is fantastic, friendly, and efficient. Office is beautiful. No hidden costs. No charge for re-stitching one (it was my fault). I felt like I was treated like family. Some of the reviews made me hesitate but I'm glad I ignored them. So far so good with the implants! Will update if anything else happens but I'm thrilled!

The best facility and staff I have ever encountered. Front to doctors. The personal attention and gentle, respectful kindness the entire office delivers is so greatly appreciated by a coward like me who is also a dental disaster. I cannot recommend Lasting Smiles enough!

This people are total crooks. Specially "Dr. Godsy" or w.e his name is. Let me tell you I got 3 crowns here. 2 of them fell 3 times in less than a year. 3rd one is bigger than it should have been. Yohana the resectionist total hypocrite. Don't waste your time or money like I did. Go somewhere else. FYI NEVER CALLED ME BACK TO TRY TO FIX THE SITUATION.

I've been going here for the last decade. I've only met Dr. Ghodsi once and his associates have always done my services. Today, Dr. Ma took good care of me. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and great bedside manner. She explained the procedure and it was quick. Yoel, who has been my dental tech for the past 3 years is my favorite. He is always gentle and kind - he is familiar w the anxiety I have whenever coming to the dentist.

If I could change anything, it would be the birds. I wished they would have the opportunity to fly free and really live instead of being cooped up for the sole purpose of beauty. Perhaps Dr. Ghodsi will consider a giant aquarium instead with some small fish

Super pleased with the service and care I have received at Lasting Smiles! Every appointment has been on time and the staff is very efficient and kind and welcoming. Dr. Karina Ma is so kind, and gentle. All the work she has done on me has been gently done with little to no pain. She is quick never makes you wait and good at what she does! I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist that cares about their customers.

This is a great place to go for any dental issues. The staff is wonderful and they all have a lot of patience. I go there because they use sleep dentistry if it is needed. I am terrified of dentists and they work with me to make me comfortable with what has to be done. Today Dr Ghodsi did a two minute, what is called a "filling". I had a tooth area where the gum was receding.

He explained the process and in two minutes it was over. I would give them more stars if I could. The idea is no pain is really necessary just go to this office and you will have no fear.

This place is the worst place to go to. My husband and I came here for a simple xray and the stupid B*tch joanna said she can't do a payment arrangement yet one other person said "we do 4 months payments". Don't F with me woman. This place is great and nice when you go. When it comes to finances they're on you. FINGER FLIP JOANNA

Do not go to this dentist their pitch is a $50 referral fee which stays in the office, then $250 for X-rays to plan out their dental plan. They ask way to many personal questions and always suggest the worse treatment plan so the patient is financially paying to synchrony bank the dentist blames the associates and the front office then they say we only one of those well that's because the previous person has quit or got fired.

From the dental hygienist my teeth are messed up, to everything that was done at this dental office my teeth are in worse shape then going in and they don't even give you toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss etc for teeth care. The dentist office is just a scam and their iPads doesn't even work, I probably caught COVID from their office because it's managed that poorly.

Soooo, now Ghodsi is on his 3rd associate in about a year. That should tell you something. He must be hard to work with too.

I recently had scheduled an exam to check my veneer and I sat in the chair to explain my concerns. The dentist made a quick look and sent me to the billing office to be convinced to do both front teeth for the color concerns but yet I only need one. The price was too much so I took the paper with price breakdown and left. I was there for the most 5 minutes. I've been called to let me know they charged my insurance and it's not fully covered so I have to pay.

So beware if you go in and the dentist takes a look at you for a quick question you will be charged! I was there many times I really didn't think I would be charged for that appointment because I was in and out in 5 minutes. Just so upset with the way this situation was handled it's obvious they want your money.

Scheduled a virtual appointment on website. Called 30 minutes before my appointment and confirmed it was happening. They said dr would reach out to me on my cell or I could enter the virtual lobby. Called back at my appointment time and said I needed a code to enter lobby. They said the dr wasn't available. So I basically took an hour off from work for nothing.

No courtesy call to apologize or reschedule or anything. Still have not heard back and the last person I spoke with yesterday said she'd find out what happened and get back to me. 24 hours later and nothing. I guess they don't need business. I was interested in top and bottom all-on-4

Reasons to make these folks your dentist: 1. They speak kindly and don't make you feel foolish or embarrassed about your teeth which has almost always been my experience in the past. From the front staff like Janice and Joanna to the dental assistants like the incomparable Sadie and my hero Dr Betancourt (( I wish I could name them all)) They treat you like a friend and always make it easy to get an appt. 2.

They break down each procedure (which in my case is a lot) to make healthy mouth and smile attainable. I had a huge cavity in my front tooth and had been hiding my smile for about 2 years, even though I had more pressing issues, They gave me my smile back and I can't tell you how amazing it feels to express true happiness again. I'm so grateful for this place! 3. Atmosphere is calming, no long waits and there are birds in an aviary, so so soothing to watch and go to my happy place. 4. They are clean and professional.

Finest, friendliest, cleanest dentist office I've been to (no I do not have any vested interests in telling you this.) Staff is absolutely patient and explains everything well. Kinda costly but worth every dime. One of my favorite things is the huge bird sanctuary that is placed where you can see the birds play, oh and the full bar of drinks kurig coffee, juice, water whatever you want. Betty is an excellent assistant, try to get her for your pre/post nurse.
