Dr. Palacios comes from a long line of dentists, which include his Grandfather, Mother and Father. Dr. Palacios is a lifelong resident of the western suburbs of Chicago. He obtained an undergraduate degree in biology from Benedictine University, and earned his Dentistry degree from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1988. In 1992, Dr. Palacios established Galena Dental and since then has been serving Aurora and the surrounding communities by providing his patients with quality dental care in a modern and clean facility.

Dr. Palacios has been doing tooth colored restorations, otherwise known as white fillings, for the last six years exclusively. For the last hundred years, dentists have been restoring teeth with amalgam (silver fillings), and it served us well. In the last ten years, science has provided us with the ability to restore teeth with resin instead of the silver fillings.
