Remember that it will take time to adjust to the feel of your new bite. When the bite is altered or the position of the teeth is changed it takes several days for the brain to recognize the new position of your teeth or their thickness as normal. If you continue to detect any high spots or problems with your bite, call our office so we can schedule an adjustment appointment.
We are a mercury-free practice. However, many people still have silver/mercury fillings in their mouths from years past. These fillings are not particularly pleasing to the eye, and we know that by unavoidable design, silver/mercury fillings ultimately result in a weaker tooth structure. Porcelain inlays and Tooth Colored Restorations (onlays) create fillings that are not only beautiful (or unnoticeable) but also add strength to weakened teeth. These restorations are esthetically pleasing and very strong thanks to new bonding technologies.

Dr. Fuentes and her staff are the BEST! They go above and beyond to take care of us. I have been a client of Dr. Fuentes for 10+ years and she and her staff are professional, courteous, and caring. They have always worked with my schedule and accommodated me as much as possible. Even though my mother is from another area they saw her on an emergency visit when her tooth broke. They're great!

Top flight operation from Dr Fuentes throughout. She is a meticulously competent dentist, who takes great care with her patients. She and her staff (all female) are unfailingly polite, courteous, and friendly. It is a pleasant place. Dr Fuentes cuts no corners; her work is excellent, and she works hard to spare patients avoidable pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Fuentes for dental care for several years. She is an excellent dentist and is also very gentle and kind. I have had a number of dental issues and Dr. Fuentes always takes the time to explain what she's doing both before and during any procedure. She makes great suggestions regarding cosmetic issues, immediate dental needs, and preventive care.
The entire staff is warm, friendly, and efficient. They are very personable and take the time to get to know you. I've referred several friends and colleagues to this practice over the years and will continue to do so.

Dr. Agnes Fuentes is the best. She is very gentle and explains everything. Before I want to Dr. Fuentes, I had gone to a dentist in DC for 20 years who just didn't know how to correct my bite after each procedure. I could not chew properly and the teeth on one side of my mouth appeared longer. My teeth were yellow, cracked, worn down and uneven.
After Dr. Fuentes corrected all of that, I can chew from both sides of my mouth and my smile is beautiful. In fact, I did a modeling job with my husband shortly after Dr. Fuentes fixed my teeth. Everybody in Dr. Fuentes' office is caring and friendly. They are all very nice and they go out of their way to be accommodating. Thank you, Dr. Fuentes, and, in alphabetical order, Alicia, Julia, and Marilu.
