Dr. Rebecca Angus' father Dr. Frank Angus and her uncle Dr. William Angus started Angus Dentistry in 1974. Dr. Rebecca Angus began working in the office at 12 years old and purchased the practice in 2012. Gaining the community's trust and serving with integrity and excellence was ingrained in her at an early age.
We have found that our patients prefer to come to one place for all of their oral health needs. The doctors at Angus Dentistry are highly trained in all aspects of general dentistry for the entire family. This means that most of the time you do not have to travel elsewhere to see specialists for procedures such as oral surgery, extractions, root canals, braces, gum treatment, cosmetic procedures, or dentures. We especially enjoy caring for our pediatric and geriatric patients, as well as our patients with special needs.
Amanda Jeffrey comes to our practice with 16 years of periodontal experience as a hygienist. Amanda has seen her fair share of gum disease and inflammatory conditions affect the tissues surrounding the teeth. If bacteria and oral inflammation cause bone loss, then deep cleaning or even surgery may be required to regain a healthy mouth.
The thing she loves most about working at Angus Dentistry is the long-lasting relationships that she has built - sometimes with several generations of family members. If she were to recommend one product to her patients it would be an electric toothbrush. Using the right brush can significantly increase plaque removal and stimulate gum tissue thus decreasing the amount of bacteria in the oral cavity. The professional excellence, knowledge, and caring warmth of the entire team of dentists, hygienists, and staff is exceptional. I recently had an extensive procedure involving an extraction and implant. During my appointment, Dr. Poonum was very concerned that I have no unnecessary discomfort. She calmly talked me through the entire procedure so that I was aware at each step of what to expect.
I had no pain that evening or the following days so did not even need any OTC pain relief. I was so very grateful. Angus Dentistry continues their founding principles of delivering exceptional care with 'best practice' procedures and true compassion for the whole person. They are wonderful!

My entire family has been going to ANGUS dentistry for years. From the moment you walk into the door, you know that you are in a special place. Besides the decor being beautiful and very clean, the front office staff is friendly, polite, and very helpful. They make you feel welcome and important to the practice. The hygienists are professional and thorough in their care of your cleaning and checkup. Dr. Rebecca Angus is now caring for me after Frank Angus retired from this practice, and I feel she is such a capable, bright, and talented dentist who stays on top of the current technology and care of dental care for her patients. I've been to quite a few dental practices in my 81 years, but Angus Dentistry is tops on my list. The clinic is the most modern facility I've ever seen with state-of-the-art equipment. The staff from the doctors to the hygienists to the office staff are friendly, helpful, and caring. I highly recommend them.

Since I have been going to Angus dentistry I no longer dread the experience. All of the staff are friendly, kind, and accommodating in an emergency situation. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone in this practice and I have been treated by every dentist there. They are ALL compassionate and give only the very best of care. Dr. REBECCA is an artist when it comes to replacing teeth. She takes great pride in her work and makes sure you feel good and look good!

I highly recommend this superior dental practice to anyone. I never liked dental appointments growing up because of the lack of modern medical techniques resulting in painful memories; however, my whole mindset changed when my family started going to Angus Dentistry almost 40 years ago - we have never wanted to go anywhere else since. Angus Dentistry and Dr. Rebecca Angus, specifically, has been my dentist for over 10 years - maybe 15 years. I live in Richmond, but it is worth the drive to Midlothian for me - knowing that they have the best interests for my health and well-being as well as the dental expertise to handle anything that might arise. ( I had to get a couple of fillings several years ago and just recently had to get a mouth guard to help me quit grinding my teeth.) Dr. Rebecca Angus and her new doctors, Poonum Bharal and Jessica Vellucci are both amazing dentists and moms and I would trust them with my dental needs as well. An outstanding team all-around.

I have been going to Angus Dentistry since Frank Angus practiced with his brother in the old building over 20 years ago. My wife's first visit to Dr. Frank was when he counted her teeth, over 40 years ago. Dr. Becky and her team carry on the kind traditions of her father and uncle while integrating modern advancements in dentisty. Their staff care about your teeth, but also care about YOU. I would never even think of going or taking my kids anywhere else but Angus Dentistry. They are simply the best.

I think it's time to review a place I have been coming to before I ever owned a cell phone to write yelp reviews on! Angus dentistry is the best! My parents have been coming here over 20 years and switched me over when I was a teenager. I have seen Frank, Rebecca and Lee numerous times of the years and I just met their new Dentist, Patrice. They all are wonderful and do a great job!
I never have any issues getting in to see them. Currently, I am seeing a great dental hygienist, I think her name is Darleta? Either way she has been great and before her I saw Sharon a lot. She was also awesome. Their office has plenty of parking, it's beautifully decorated. Has comfy seating. They have guest WiFi too. It's very welcoming. I recently moved away, but I'm going to keep driving out to chesterfield!

Just had my first visit here as well as my sons first visit. Office is beautiful and high tech. We had a scheduling issue last minute and everyone was SUPER flexible and let us flip-flop our appointments. My 2 year old had his first dental visit and not only did he let them look in his mouth, he even let them brush his teeth. It's a battle for us each night but he felt so at home at Angus Dentistry that he didn't even care. AMAZING! If you need a dentist (and who doesn't) make sure you get an appointment here right now!
