Fleming Island Family Dentist - Margaret Lessig

My wife lost her porcelain crown and had hoped she would be able to get it glued back in. Unfortunately, that was not possible. Dr Murray very kindly went over the options my wife would have which was very helpful to her. They discussed the Information and she has made a decision to see if she would be eligible for a dental implant. She will be going to the oral surgeon Dr Murray is referring her to. Thank you Dr Murray and everyone at Family Smiles!

This gem of a dentist office is exactly what I was looking for. They're super kind, professional and most importantly personable. Dr. Murray has such and kind spirit and hygienists Alphaneeka and Daveda were the absolute best. They really care for your teeth and made me feel extremely welcomed. The atmosphere is so warm and pleasant too. It's been a while since I've been this excited to go to the dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr Mapp for 20+ years. Not sure what happened, but both dentists retired and every staff member left. My first cleaning with new team was very uncomfortable. Cleanliness was an issue and patient experience was sub par. Sad - looking for new practice.

I've been going to this office for 18 years and when they took over it has gone downhill. They rescheduled my appointment 4 times, I work, and when I finally went, told me I had periodontitis and did some crazy cleaning which now has my teeth very sensitive. I've never had issues like this! All they care about is money- I miss Dr Lessig. These people are awful! We are leaving this office! I hope everyone in Fleming island leave!

To Whom this concerns My family of 4 is and has been paitents of this practice for many many many years. I have noticed starting about a year and half ago the staff started leaving. I was assured that they were just moving on and everything was still the same as it ever was. When I went in for an appointment back in September of 2021 I learned that my hygienist had left.

I noticed there were only 3 staff members left that I was comfortable with. Again I was assured that everything was ok. Today, I go in for my appointment and again I am getting my teeth cleaned by another new hygienist. I then find that there is only one person left that I am comfortable with. That person is Michelle. She is always amazing and so awesome to work and talk with.

I told Michelle today that we ( my family ) are on the edge of finding a new dentist. My Daughter was seen last week by Dr. Hu. She is not one to complain but after her appointment both her and my wife were extremely unhappy with the experience they had with Dr. Hu. My daughter just had a Sealant done in September 2021 and now is being told she appears to have a cavity forming under the sealant. COME ON THAT'S NUTS AND NOT EXCEPTIABLE. Did y'all seal over a Cavity?

Then she told me Dr. Hu examined her before the cleaning was done. Nothing was explained to her or my wife. This is not EXCEPTIABLE. Y'all will have one shot left to change our minds. If Michelle leaves you can believe we are gone as well. It's so hard to get comfortable with a dentist and their staff but we found great comfort with this practice years ago it was like family, warm and caring.

Currently it would appear that this practice is being run in the ground and there is no family feeling or value as a patient. This being done with the consent change in staff and Dentist. Hopefully this does not fall on Deaf ears

Excellent dental service. Excellent, friendly, professional staff. I had a crown installed with almost no pain nor discomfort. Dr. Lessig is an outstanding dentist. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Lessig for many years.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lessig for over 20 years! Even though I moved away 11 years ago, I still consider her as my go-to dentist. I'll tell you why - she and her wonderful staff are more interested is maintaining a healthy dental regimen than pushing cosmetic enhancements. My smile and my wallet is very appreciative! They do offer a variety of products but oral health is still Job One!

My son and I had the best experience today at Family Smiles! Michelle and Nancy were so kind and welcoming, they answered all of our questions and helped us get established with their office. We were both nervous about finding a great place for dental care, as we are new to the area and had no idea where to start! What a fabulous find - thank you so much for making us feel so comfortable. Much appreciated!

If my dentist hadn't retire, I wouldn't have found my new dentist. I prefer a nice atmosphere, smart staff and meticulous results. I liked them from the first appointment. Now four appointment under my belt, I am happy to know I have a new Dentist that I like, and I can refer friends to. Staff is great, Dental work is pretty. My $.02

I love this office! First of all, I have severe anxiety about dental procedures, and they are so patient and kind. It's rare to find a provider that can work with someone with a panic disorder, but these guys can. Second, I talked Hubs into going after not seeing a dentist for like 10 years. Dr. Mapp worked with him (and our insurance) to prioritize a treatment plan that would get him back to optimal health without breaking the bank. The staff is awesome. They know their patients.

Had a filling appointment. They took me in quickly and numbed me. I then sat alone for 45 minutes before I walked out. They never even checked on me. Their customer service is horrible.
