Went in for an emergency visit after breaking my front tooth. When matching my filling color, the dentist was trying to decide between a color that was lighter or darker than the rest. She picked the darker color before consulting me. I can't imagine why considering teeth can be whitened but I can't make my teeth more yellow. and unless I chose to now pay out of pocket to have it fixed, I have to temporarily walk around with my front tooth being significantly more yellow. The staff was friendly but overall I really wish there was more communication considering this is something I have to look at daily.

Every time I go to First State Dental I'm always greeted with the friendly staff! I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get called back for my appointment. Jenny my hygienist is just amazing, the fact that she's friendly, thorough, and cares makes me feel so at ease (i never liked going to the dentist). Dr. Gioffre was a complete pleasure. I actually look forward to returning and obtaining that smile I always wanted.

I love this office! I had my first appointment today I saw Dr Schnelle she was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable, she explained everything to me and made sure I understood. The dental hygienist was amazing! She saw that I was getting very nervous and asked if I was ok, I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she was awesome! This office is extremely clean, followed COVID guidelines, the front desk was very welcoming! I cannot wait to go back! Thank you First Dental for a easy, pain free quick first visit!

I have been a patient at this practice for about a year and I can safely say I will be a patient as long as I live in Delaware. Dr. Gioffre and his staff are so kind & accommodating while providing excellent dental care! I recently needed emergency dental care and the staff were able to find me a same day appointment and Dr. Gioffre discounted the cost even though my insurance wanted me to pay a crazy amount of money for the small procedure. I highly recommend!

This incredible practice is like family to me. Having my kids grow up with this family and my own care received for over 10 years has been amazing. The thoroughness of care from administration to the front line staff is like no other. They absolutely go above and beyond in their knowledge, services, compassion and scheduling. My heart is always filled when I go knowing that I am receiving the best, safest, and most current state of the art care in my dental health.
My family has had emergency situations and they are always available and have provided understanding when needed on the weekends. I truly cannot say enough for the docs, staff and beautiful office they work in. I am grateful and appreciative for the continued confidence and peace of mind of my and my sons' dental health. Went to see Dr. Gioffre yesterday for an opinion on a costly procedure my own dentist told me I needed. Dr. Gioffre made me feel confident that I did not need it and saved me thousands. His practice also felt like a tight knit well functioning family. Everyone was nice and professional. He is my new dentist now! Thanks First State Dental.

The best in Delaware! My family and I love it here. I've seen Dr Mike for the past 10+ years, he is awesome. Such a welcoming atmosphere, and all of the staff know us by name. For little ones the dentist can be. a 'scary' thing, but I must say my kids feel very comfortable and relaxed here. Everyone from the office staff to the doctors and especially the hygienists, they are very patient with the kids, no matter what! To top it all off they get to choose a prize out of the treasure chest at the end of every visit Thank you First State Dental for all the hard work!

As a child I was tortured at the dentist, I'm now 73 and I still had immense anxiety about a dental visit; until I became a patient at First State Dental. With the best staff you will ever come across in any office, you will receive outstanding care at the hands of Dr. Gioffre and his highly trained team. It's like going to visit family!
