Sedation dentistry allows you to be sedated just enough to be pain free and unaware of the treatment, as if you were relaxing. That is why it is normally referred to as conscious sedation dentistry. So if you have sensitive teeth, a fear of dentists, have a bad gag reflex, hate needles, or have limited time to spend on dental care at the dentist, Sedation during dentistry procedures can help you.
Whatever the case may be sedation by your dentists can help you be more anxiety free during your dentistry treatment. Your dentist's ultimate goal is to make your visit to the dentist a relaxing and enjoyable one. Since you are completely comfortable, relaxed, and pain free your sedation dentist can do years of dental treatments in one or two dental visits.
With sedation your dentist can restore sore gums to good dental health, fix a chipped tooth, replace crowns or dentures, whiten yellow or stained teeth, and more. All pain free.
People choose cosmetic dental procedures for various reasons to repair a defect such as a malformed bite or crooked teeth, treat an injury, or just improve their overall appearance. For these and many other reasons, cosmetic dentistry has become a vital and important part of the dental profession and one of the fastest growing areas of dentistry. For example, tooth-whitening procedures have tripled over the past five years.
Common cosmetic dental procedures can be performed to correct misshaped, discolored, chipped or missing teeth. It also can be used to change the overall shape of teeth from teeth that are too long or short, have gaps, or simply need to be reshaped.
My whole family has been going to this dentist's office for years now. Both my kids love the place because the staff is phenomenal. They have treats on hand for afterwards and answer every question my curious little ones have. Dr. Glasmeier is a family man and it shows when he works with anyone. Obviously I can go on forever about this place, but go for yourself and see.
My son saw Dr. G today for the first time, after 2 1/2 years of trying to get him to the point of comfort to allow an exam at another dentist's office. Dr. G's expertise with special needs was evident, and we had an extremely successful first visit. He was very conservative in his recommendations, gave us much hope in what has been a very frustrating area of our son's life, and was incredibly kind and understanding with the whole family. His staff went ABOVE and beyond to make our visit successful, and we are so very, very grateful.
There are so many things about being a special needs family that are hard. Finding a dentist shouldn't be one of those things. With Dr. Mike and his staff, we not only found dental care, we found a family. Dr. Mike treats my children like his own. Not just dental care, but compassionate dental care. And, I love the convenience of special needs dentistry and dentistry for the rest of my family all under one roof!
This was by far the absolute best visit ever at a dentist office!!! Dr. Mike was amazing, and made me feel very relaxed. He did great work on my teeth and was more than reasonable when it came to pricing. It would be safe to say that I have found my dentist for all of my future work.
After a very bad experience at another Dentist Office I contacted First Impressions and they were wonderful from the very start. Cindy is awesome extremely helpful and very concerned on my pain management. First visit went wonderful. I am not a fan of dental work. But they made sure to spend the time with me to completely understand what was going on. Got a cleaning while i was there fast and painless. Once I spoke with Dr G he was wonderful listened to my concerns reassured me the issue i had was no where near as bad as the other bait a switch place had tried to make me believe. He actually seemed to care. Now onward to get some issue corrected.
Dr G and his staff are just what your looking for. My whole family (Son,Sisters,& Nephews) all use him for all our dental needs. Big or small he will treat them all. Friendly and convenient. He will listen to your needs and treats with options. I left with a BIG smile on my face. Thanks Dr G!!!
