I have been with Delta Dental of Kentucky for many years. It has been a wonderful company. Many caring individuals in every department. They work very hard to give customers/providers/group administrators the best possible experience when dealing with their claims or benefits. They strive daily to come up with new resolutions to make their system work easier for all of customers. Working diligently to make things right when it is within their power. I commend this company for such hard work amongst all their employees.

As a Delta Dental of KY provider for over 30+ years I feel compelled to speak out on our treatment when requesting a rate increase in the allowable/reimbursements to providers. There hasn't been an increase since 2016 but yet patient premiums continue to rise with nothing passed on to providers. Yet we are still expected to deliver the same quality of care while our rent, supplies, lab fees, just to name a few have continually increased!
We started a request to review our rates back in August with no response. They called in October wanting our recredentialing forms and stated "If we didn't turn this in we would no longer be "In network providers". I didn't hear anything until December 17th stating "the board meets yearly and unfortunately nothing is changing". It was a difficult decision but one I felt necessary to make in parting ways. Amazingly in less than a month my patients are getting a letter from Delta Dental of KY for find an "In network provider to utilize their benefits". After all these years you would think Delta Dental of KY would try to be more fair in their treatment of dental providers.
