I can tell you this that the eight year old me could never imagine giving a dentist office a 5 star rating. I HATED going to the dentist as a kid with all the rubber dams, drilling, yuck. Man how things have changed as I now really enjoy my visits. A big part of the awesome experience is Jessica who is both funny and very caring. I really felt like she was looking out for my best interest in giving me advice on the various options I could consider to improve my overall teeth/mouth operation.

Apart from everything being very pleasant I didn't feel like my time was wasted at all. Everything was very efficient and when I did have to wait for a few minutes they checked in on me often and gave me updates. With all this goodness the one thing you can expect is that they are very busy. So plan to book many months in advance because their schedule fills up quick.

I was so impressed with everything about the office (it's a very pretty, comfortable atmosphere) and every person on the team who was a part of my exam, etc. and beginning with check in at the front desk. The professionalism, kindness, knowledge, personalities made the visit so easy, nice and enjoyable. I will be gladly telling everyone I know about The Dentists and recommending them highly,

I have never had such an amazing, caring dental experience in my life. From getting me immediate help for my pain, to giving me an excellent referral to a specialist this experience was truly exceptional! The entire staff from reception to the dentist herself were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I'm a new patient at The Dentists in Bastop. I went there just before Christmas for my initial evaluation and checkup/cleaning after leaving my previous dentist who dropped my insurance in August. I must say that never had I had such a pleasant, comfortable and thorough exam like I had at The Dentists. Kari and Dr. Ross were both extremely patient, caring and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

They took their time with the exam and cleaning, and explained everything to me in layman's terms. Even the front desk was extremely helpful and worked with me in trying to line up the next steps for my treatment plan. I'm lucky and grateful to have found The Dentists when I did. They are fantastic! I couldn't rave any more about how wonderful the dentists and staff are there. I highly recommend them to anyone in Bastop looking for a good dentist.

I have spent a great deal of my childhood and adult life in the dentist's chair and I have to say that the entire staff at The Dentists have been great. Very gentle and actually relaxing during cleanings. I highly recommend them.

My family and I are new to Bastrop (and Texas) and needed a new family dentist for my wife, myself, and our three children. My mom was a dental hygienist for 30 years; we had always gone to offices where she worked (she retired shortly before our relocation). I'm incredibly picky when it comes to choosing dental providers. After checking with our insurance provider and reading many local reviews, we decided to give The Dentists a try.

To say that we're pleased would be an understatement. They were very flexible with scheduling, the staff was incredibly gracious, and they were terrific with our kids. Such a relief to have found this office; we can't thank them enough for their kindness. :)

My husband and I both look forward to our visits with the team at The Dentists. We appreciate getting reminders about areas that need additional attention to continue to improve our dental health. Thank you Dr. Smith for your Great Team who has been kind and welcoming, thorough about any changes, conscious about Covid-19 guidelines, masking and social distancing, knowledgeable and honest.

A very nice facility with state of the art equipment. The entire staff were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. As first time patients, my wife and I were very appreciative of the in depth exam provided and the amount of time our care givers spent with us. Kudos to our Dental Hygienists Kari and Jessica and Kudos to Dr. Koppuzha.

It had been a few years since I had been to the dentist and moving to Texas, I had to find a new dentist. The Dentists came highly recommended. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by someone on the administrative staff to the time I left after having seen the hygienist and doctor it's clear that the patient experience is important to this practice. They informed me every step of the way and made me feel very comfortable.

LOVED THIS PLACE! I had Dr. Koppuzha and Ashlie she are so nice! Everyone there makes you feel really comfortable and understands if you're nervous about going to the dentist. I came in to get my teeth cleaned after I got a cavity, and they were extra careful and gentle with my teeth. The facility is really clean, and the decoration is nice. The girls at the front desk really helped me figure out how much I would pay out of pocket, since I didn't have dental insurance, and even helped me figure out payment plans. It honestly wasn't that expensive either! Everyone here spends the time and care with their patients! I will definitely come back here again! :

The Dentists has to be one of the most professional and wonderful dentists office in the state. I always receive incredible service when I have an appointment. Kari, specifically, takes awesome care of me and my teeth. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are all amazing.

Wow, I can't say enough positive things about dr smith and her team. I've been coming here for over 13 years. I drive from austin specifically to continue seeing them. I'm disheartened to see the poor review left here. I've never had a bad experience with them and I think I've covered the full spectrum of services needed. I highly recommend dr smith!

I've been going to The Dentists since retiring here in 2011. The waiting room is very nice, but I have never had to wait longer than 5 to 10 minutes for any of my appointments. Everyone on the staff is very pleasant and professional. I highly trust all the hygienists, and my care has been virtually pain free. Dr. Emmert corrected the uneven look of my top front teeth in 15 minutes, after I had been living with the problem for years. I won't go anywhere else. Just a great group of professionals.

Their OK as far as dentist goes but a little on the expensive side. We go regularly and the staff is really nice. We'd change but it's the closest option living in Elgin.

Worst Service Ever. I got ripped off here. I had some tooth pain. I went in for a filling. They told me I needed to get a section filled. They did worked on my tooth. I paid for the first round of work they did, then the tooth did the procedure they did, I was still in pain, so they recommended a crown + a root canal which was almost $4,000 They didn't take the impression right, so the crown came messed up from the factory.

Rather than re-doing the impression as I requested, they just kept having me come in for repeated visits to saw down the tooth. They continued to get frustrated with having to schedule additional visits to fix their work. They started charging me additionally to fix their work they didn't get correct in the first place. My bite got worse and other teeth started to shift as a result.

When I brought all of this to their attention, they treated me poorly. They just attempted to offer me sympathy. Additionally, I had been in pain for over a month after the root canal. I went into see them and told them to check out the area. I could feel a large object in my gums. They looked and that area and sent me home and told me it was nothing. 3 weeks later, I was still in pain, I was at work and in the middle of the day I spit out a part of my tooth!

They left it in there! It was a large piece left over from the surgery. I spoke to the doctors and they took no responsibility for their work. They just gave me more sympathy and continued to grow impatient with me as a patient. They wouldn't refund any of my money. I've had other doctors see the tooth since then and the work done was sub-par by other professional opinions. I would never recommend The Dentists to any of my friends. This is not how you run a business.
