I was experiencing tooth pain and was very upset to know I needed a root canal. I was referred to Dr Koehn office by Dr Peliks. It was a very comfortable environment and was impressed with all the state of the art equipment he had. Dr. Koehn took the time to explain everything to me and that helped ease my mine tremendously. He is a very caring Doctor who put his patient first. Painless root canal.that's crazy!

I never thought I would say that! He is awesome with Numbing too! When I was all done he went over all the images that he took while he was treating my root canal. It was so cool! I would recommend Dr Koehn to anyone who needs a root canal! Thanks to Dr. Koehn and his staff I'm pain free!

Dr. David Koehn and his staff are incredible! Having a root canal is never fun but I was so impressed by Dr Koehns caring and concerned manner. The establishment was modern and clean. He did a wonderful job on my tooth. I would definitely come back again. There was absolutely no pain during or after the root canal. I never even had to take Tylenol!

He was very patient with me (I'm a big sissy about having my teeth worked on) and let me take a breather every now and then. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. But I really hope I never have to have that done again, if I do I will come back to him. He is the best!

That sad moment when there is no option for zero stars. I had an appointment for an emergency route canal. Went in, filled out paperwork, did initial x-rays, everything was going great so far. Front desk staff and assistant staff were friendly and accommodating. Got into the treatment room and was told it would be a few minutes for the dr. While waiting, I found myself looking at the tools and whatnot in the room.

Some of them were dirty and I wanted to make sure they would not be used for my procedure. When the dr came in we introduced and talked for a moment about my tooth. I asked if 'these tools' would be used for my procedure and he said yes. I stated that some of them were dirty and he immediately and sternly told me I was wrong and that all tools are clean and sterile.

After arguing with me for a minute I asked to show him, since he was so adamant they were not dirty. I could scrape off gunk and dirt onto my thumb nail from one of the tools, and the other had a chunk of something white on it (perhaps a previous patients tartar?!). He then proceeded to tell me he didn't trust me (wait, what?) and that we would not do the procedure today and it would just be a consult so 'he could see how he feels about the whole thing'.

At this point I walked out and asked for all my paperwork and information back. It is horrible practice to treat your patients as if they are below you. When a patient who is coming in for a very delicate and pricey procedure, they should be treated with respect and you need to show them that you care and you should do everything you can to answer their questions and ease their anxiety. Also it's very important to use tools that really are clean and sterile and not overlooked.
