I had an appointment in two weeks to get some work done. My tooth decided that it wasn't going to wait. On Saturday evening the pain became unbearable. I called Sunday morning and left a message. My hope was that this would help me get in early on Monday. Dr Liu returned my call a couple hours later and after talking to me for a few minutes decided he would come to the office on a Sunday and help me out. Thank you Dr. Liu for going above and beyond.

I was a long time patient of Dr. Liu's. I have a fear of going to the dentist. He was always calming and supportive so I don't get to worked up. Not anymore! He's like a totally different person in the worst way ever. I went in for a cleaning (which I had to find the courage to do in the middle of a pandemic). There was no dental hygienist. HE did the cleaning.and he was anything but gentle!

He yelled at me and berated me the entire time I was there. It was embarrassing and I am DONE with him. I will NEVER go back! EVER! Nor will the other 9 family members (that I sent his way over the years) after I told them what happened. I left there balling and swore to never step foot in there again. He wasn't much better with the staff. He yelled at them and berated them too. None of them deserved any of that! I don't know what his problem is but he has lost my trust and my respect!

This review is difficult for me to write, as I believe Dr. Liu is ultimately a good human being. However, Dr. Liu repeatedly lost all professionalism, yelling at me and berating me when he could not properly fit the bridge he built for my mouth, despite two years of countless adjustments. Dr. Liu made so many adjustments to my improperly fitted bridge that there are continuous pressure cracks and places where he has repeatedly drilled and placed filler that falls out. Dr. Liu told me to my face that he was unhappy with the procedure he used for me and that I was the last patient he ever used it on because it has poor results.

I spent $13k out of pocket in Dr. Liu's office, and in the end all I could do was walk away with my records and a huge financial loss - along with extensive and extremely expensive work that still has to be done because of how my case was handled by Dr. Liu. This may be a small financial investment to some, but for me it was borrowed from my retirement And I don't have the money to completely re-do what i already paid to have done. Dr. Liu stands by his work until his patient becomes an inconvenience.

I have never been so disrespected by a professional, nor have I ever been so financially taken advantage of. Again, I believe Dr. Liu is a good human being, but he would benefit from anger management. Additionally, he might consider trying to find an ethical balance between human beings and profit. On a different note, Dr. Lou's staff is incredible. They are professional and thoughtful at all times.

THEY LIE TO YOU ABOUT PRICING and covered procedures, they are not in it for the patients they are in it for the insurance money. its one surprise bill after another. Save your time money and sanity. (Also notice that most of their positive reviews are from people with only one review.)

Ran an ad saying specials on dentures and implants. Met for consult. Promised procedure. Large sum paid up front. Started the work with agreement to pay within 90 days. Staff started calling immediately for the rest of the money. He withheld continued treatment because balance wasn't paid, despite a contract saying customer has 90 days to fulfil payment. Had to go to another dentist who reviewed contract ans his work. Was informed he overcharged us by a ton and withholding treatment after starting treatment is illegal. Also, the work performed was substandard and required the second dentist to do repairs and changes. We were cash payers. And we got ripped off.

This is a more than a fair review for this unprofessional Dentist who yelled at me while in his chair getting my teeth worked on. I had to go back to him 3 times to keep fixing the same tooth he made a mistake on to my final visit which he left me uneven and unhappy not to mention in pain still today. My teeth are my pride and joy but now I hate them and wish I would of never gone to this dentist. He used a drill to shave my tooth after I told him I did not want him to do that, my tooth and 2 others are super sensitive now and I'm so upset

Had a consultation with Dr. Liu. Very thorough and informative. He made sure I understood the procedure from beginning to end. I felt very comfortable with the visit and would highly recommend his services. Would also like to say that his office staff are very friendly and accommodating. I give them 5 stars!

For many years I have gone to Dr. Edward Liu's office after my old dentist retired. Dr. Liu shows compassion, listens to the patient when there is an issue. I've had several issues over the years and always walked out with a smile on my face. The office staff is great also, caring and will get you in as soon as possible for emergencies. And the Hygienist are very nice too when you are having a bad day with teeth issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Liu and his staff for any dental problems.

If I could give zero stars then that still wouldn't be low enough. Dr. Liu had zero interest in making my dentures fit. He eagerly took the states money for them though. I informed him that they don't fit and something is wrong with them. He said I had to pay $350 for an x-ray. No thanks, I'm pretty sure the State of Michigan paid you enough to make sure my dentures fit.

Its been almost 4.5 years and to this day I don't have any dentures that fit. State won't let me get another pair either as they just paid for this pair. I hope Dr. Lui knows that he has ruined my life for the past 4.5 years. I hope that money was worth it to him. He takes innocent peoples money and doesn't deliver as promised. PLEASE AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COSTS!

He is more interested in profit than treatment! AND DO NOT TRUST THESE REVIEWS as they send out emails to all patients asking for reviews in exchange for gift cards. Dr. Lui RUINED my opportunity to have a nice smile and a better life. PLEASE DON'T LET HIM DO THIS TO YOU!

I have been with Dr. Liu since he first moved into his Holt practice. He had not even been there long enough to put his name on his office when I made my first appointment. As his practice as grown bigger he has been able to maintain the same level of attention to his patients as when he first opened his office. I have found Dr. Liu service to be spot on. He listen to his patents and figures out how to the best way to care for your denial needs.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Liu since he took over the practice from Dr Tatro, many years ago. Dr Liu is friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and diligent in his treatments. He always makes you feel at ease, is open to your concerns, and cares about you. He even treated me on a Sunday once when I had a dental emergency! Staff are very friendly, caring, and professional. They make going to the dentist a pleasurable experience.

My experiences with Dr. Liu have been incredibly thoughtful and very skilled. I appreciate his sensitive demeanor for a person like myself who has lifelong fear of dentistry. He is by far the best dentist I have experienced and because of him I have reclaimed a healthy dental life that until him was impossible to maintain. Highly recommend for anyone with those fears of the dental chair.

I have been a patient of Dr. Liu for many years. He and his staff have gained my complete confidence in them for my dental care. Prior to visiting Dr. Liu I suffered from severe anxiety from the anticipation of any dental procedure. Many from cleanings to surgical procedures later, I now look forward to my visits. Dr. Liu and his staff ALWAYS make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Liu and his staff!

I originally met Dr. Liu and his caring staff when I needed to find a dentist for my 94 year old mother. She has dementia and is easily upset by going to new surroundings. Dr Liu and his staff were so thoughtful and caring to her and her needs. After her appointments mom would say how she really liked Dr. Liu. It was after I witnessed what a caring professional he was, that I then switched dentists and started going to him as well!

I have had bad experiences with dentists over the years and was thankful to find one that was considerate to how I was doing. I have found I am less afraid to go to the dentist anymore and have been able to take care of dental concerns I had been avoiding for quite some time, Thank you Dr. Liu and your wonderful for all that you do! I greatly appreciate you!

For my last visit, a new hygienist, Marcus, cleaned my teeth. He is very knowledgeable and helpful and did an excellent job! He also had a lot of good advice. I was very pleased with his service. Several years ago, I had an upper molar that went bad. I had to have it pulled. After that, Dr Liu did a terrific job of putting in an implant. It has served me well many years. I am so glad I had it done.

We moved from TN to MI and I was really nervous about finding a new dentist. I went online and found Dr. Liu had all positive reviews so I booked a cleaning appointment with him. He spent over an hour with me listening to all my concerns about my teeth and all the work I have had done previously. He gave me options and I chose one that I am so excited about. He was so caring and more thorough then any other dentist I have ever been too in my 68 yrs. I am so happy to start our plan with my compassionate new dentist, Dr. Liu.

I have been with Dr. Liu since he opened his practice. ALWAYS have a positive experience with him, the dental hygienists and all other staff members. Everything action from creating a custom bite appliance to the special care needed for my teeth when I went through throat cancer radiation treatment has been well done. Mark C.

Before seeing Dr. Liu, I had problems finding a good dentist because I had Medicaid. I also needed more than a cleaning. Care free Medical and Dental Dreams were my only option. Trust me when I say that if the staff is rude and unwilling to work out payment arrangements the dentist is just as bad. After Dental Dreams made my situation I sought out Dr. Liu because their ads boasted payment plans.

Not only did they hold true to their word but I even needed to see Dr. Liu after hours. I've never met a dentist willing to go that extra measure. I was told that I had bone build up from years of grinding my teeth (something past dentists failed to mention). So when I had surgery yesterday I was very nervous since I had a horrible experience at Dental Dreams. Dr. Liu and the hygienists were very nice and reassuring.

I am so VERY VERY HAPPY with the outcome. I'm no longer embarrassed when I open my mouth and so far recovery isn't too bad. I highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Liu and staff
