Dr. Laura Picano grew up in New Hartford, NY. She then moved to Buffalo and received her Bachelor of Science with honors in medicinal chemistry from the University at Buffalo. She graduated with thesis and Latin honors from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine minoring in prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry.

I cannot thank Dr. Fagin enough. I had five missing adult teeth (three molars) so my mouth was difficult to begin with, but he made me a partial denture that looks AMAZING! I get scared at the dentist, and he was great with making the experience painless and worry free. He is very patient and gives you the individual care you need. Additionally, Dr. Fagin's staff is extremely kind and professional.
His assistant Sue was great in making sure I was comfortable during appointments, and Jennifer at the front desk was always so kind and patient over the phone and in person, and with payments. All in all, I cannot recommend Dr. Fagin's office enough.

I've been a patient for about 22 years. They've taken great care of me, my husband, and our 2 girls. They always try their best to accommodate you if an emergency arises. We drive 35 minutes to get to the office. We have other dentists closer to us but we won't switch! We wouldn't trust anyone else!

Where to start. I first went to Dr. Fagin back in 1999 for dental work to be completed on my front teeth, I was about 14yrs old. Fast forward ~20years later I decided it was time to have them "refreshed". Prior to going to Dr. Fagin I had constant issues with teeth breaking or discoloring. Going to see Dr. Fagin after 20yrs not visiting him, he was able to recollect much of my previous history.
Due to my age and wanting to have my underbite and everything completed accurately, we walked through the necessary steps before having crown work completed on my front teeth. I could not be more pleased with the time spent and the professionalism of the staff and other DDS' I worked with. Everybody at the office takes your comfort as a priority. The office is up to date, comforting and using of the newest technology.
I highly recommend East Amherst Dental to anybody looking for routine check ups to your more severe dental needs. They do it all and it's done right. Thank you again Dr. Fagin, Sue, and the staff at East Amherst Dental!

My whole family have been patients for years and have always have a great experience at this practice. All of the dentists and hygienists are great at what they do and are amazing at working with patients, very clearly showing care for whomever they take care of. I've never had a bad experience at an appointment in the ~15 years I've been a patient.

I've been going to EADC for over ten years I won't go anywhere else. I've had tooth extractions, fillings removed and replaced, and sealants done over the years. Each procedure was a brilliant success. I've had experience with Dr. Wendling, Dr. Rice, and Dr. Picano and all have a wonderful bedside manner that matches their skill. Most importantly, the person I see the most is the dental hygienist Shannon and I can't say enough about her.
Before I came to EADC, I dreaded going to the dentist because of the discomfort I would experience during cleaning and the chastising I would receive for the poor care I took of my teeth as a kid. Shannon is the opposite of every other hygienist I have ever visited. She is friendly and gentle while incredibly skilled and speedy. I look forward to my cleanings these days and am not sore afterwards. In my experience, good hygienists are hard to find and Shannon is one of the best! To sum up, good advice, great work, and comfortable visits. I offer my gratitude.

East Amherst Dental Center is renown as one of the premier dental centers in the WNY community. With an outstanding staff that caters to individual needs, there are several standouts at the center, including Jen Kenyon (hygienist) and Dr. Mark Wendling. Both are extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Above all else, they have my complete trust. And I believe that trust/confidence is one of the most important sought after characteristics when selecting a dental provider.

I have been a patient at East Amherst Dental Center for many years. Mark Wendling DDS is my regular dentist and Emily is my regular dental hygienist. I wouldn't change a thing. Over the years they have made recommendations for my dental health and discussed issues with me and provided very doable recommendations. I highly recommend this practice! They are easy to work with and great people to know! Thank you to all of the staff. It is a great practice!
