Dr. Padolsky has been practicing dentistry since 1982. He has four fellowships in dentistry, and additionally has earned the highest honor available to members of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Mastership (MAGD) award in 2002. Dr. Padolsky is passionate about helping his patients and is driven to find new advanced techniques to help solve and resolve their dental problems. Do NOT go here. I have heart disease and take a beta blocker to slow my heart rate down. They injected me with epinephrine and sent me into afib! Then the younger dentist that was taking care of me wanted another image besides my xrays and inserted a long thick metal post into the abcess that I had. It was attached to a cord that ran along the floor.

He tripped over it and the post was jerked within my abcess. I now have numbness of my bottom lip and chin and will have to see another doctor to repair the damage done to my alveolar nerve. He also wanted to pull my tooth with me on blood thinners. my cardiologist was shocked by this practice since she said the bleeding would be severe. This is how the Dr Padlosky always does extractions on heart patients. I'm lucky that they referred me to another practice of oral surgeons. Glad to be alive after all that I've been through. But still no feeling in my lip and chin!

Called last night for emergency toothache, gave Aetna as my insurance. They had just closed but told me to come in the morning at 8am. I drove through Atlanta traffic, missed work, completed pages of my personal information while sitting in office with front desk staff sneezing often. Thank goodness they had on masks. Sat for an hour just to be told we don't take your insurance.

I have suffered from severe TMJ my whole life and needed treatment again. My regular dentist saw my mouth for the first time and said I know who to send you to. Dr Podolsky has already helped me so much. I know I have a ways to go but I am pleased with the office, staff and their work.

Told me they take walk ins on saturday. Waited an hour just to be told they are closing and the dentist can only see me for $265 but not do any treatment. Office staff were laughing and joking around while I'm in pain trying to argue that there is no reason to pay if he can't treat. Super rude unfriendly please save your money and go somewhere else

Came in for a new patient exam/cleaning and it was super smooth and easy! All the staff (receptionists, x-ray tech, hygienist, and doctor) were very friendly, polite, and helpful.

I was so uncomfortable with this place. Not another patient in sight, on a Friday morning. I even had an associate dentist whisper to me that he can't wait to finish his commitment there. That's when I left. Nearly three hundred dollars for them to tell me they can't help me with what I came in for and will refer and then proceeded to tell me my treatment would be another thousand dollars! I said no to the treatment and called another doctor. They did it all and I didn't have to pay but $700.00 total. I should have come here to read the reviews.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! They are SO disorganized and unprofessional. I had been rescheduled 3 times just to get a cleaning. Only for them to tell me I have a bill from 2 years ago that they never communicated! I was blind sided! Who does that!? Do not waste your time at this place. You will be disappointed! I guarantee! Switching to a new dentist IMMEDIATELY!

I went for a interview on or around 1/20/2022. I was told I was hired I was given a pay rate of $15/hr but no start date. Dr Podalsky assigned me 15-20 videos and homework. Links were broken videos were unavailable. I emailed as well as called with no response. I am from out of state and was looking forward to employment. It did seem to good to be true that he was offering to pay for dental school under the table which I'm going to call licensing and find out if this is legal.

I am a law student who just graduated with a 3.58 gpa. I am not upset that I did not get the job I'm upset how unprofessional this is and how I feel I was racially profiled. In order to keep the 3 women identities safe so they will not lose their jobs I won't mention names but they told me I was better off not taking the job and he is horrible to work for he yells at them and has 0 communication skills. I guess I dodged a bullet.

Dr. Padolsky and his entire staff handled me with speed and great care! I was in excruciating pain and Dr. Padolsky personally answered the phone and invited me to come see him and staff. Everyone was caring and professional. The Dr. who finished my root canal was excellent and handled me with great care as well. I will bring my family here to do my dentist care here. I am eternally grateful to them. They are a credit to the industry and I wish all my dental experiences were this pleasant. God bless all of them!

Love this dental office! Very friendly and welcoming staff, very efficient office, and very skilled dentists. My first visit was after a wisdom tooth infection when I first moved here. They were the only office that could get me in the next day (after calling many in-town offices) and I haven't left since. I've had 4 wisdom teeth removed here, 2 of which were impacted, and each time the procedure has gone well and has been quick (30 min or less, and I was able to drive myself there and back as it was just local anesthesia).

My only complaint is that I've had confusion with how insurance is accepted here in the past especially when my insurance wants to file a procedure as medical and dental and the office said that wasn't possible at first but I think we eventually got it all squared away.

Talk to dr padolsky himself who told me he could do extraction today! Got there and totally different story. the receptionist told me I had do to exam first, which I understand but with no other patients y wouldn't u be able to if there's no infections. they full of shyt. run run run

I had been waiting since SEPTEMBER 2021 to get my tooth pulled because nearly EVERY dentist office said they were all booked up until next year! So I have had to endure a tooth ache on and off for 2 months. But just this past Saturday Nov 27th I decided I just could not wait anymore so I did more searching for Dr. Offices. And after calling over 9 new places and getting no help or being told I have to schedule an appointment for January cause it's their only openings.

I came across Atlanta Dental Group and the moment I called I was greeted with cheerfulness and they answered ALL of my questions and they even offered to get me in THE SAME DAY to get my tooth pulled. They accept WALK-INS!. What Dr office do you know accepts walk-ins ontop of catering to the regularly schedule patients. Atlanta Dental does! I'm so happy cause the pain I had endured for months instantaneously went away in one day the moment Atlanta Dental helped me.

They were the only office open within 20 miles of Atlanta. I drove all the way up from Jonesboro GA just to go to this office. I recommend ANYONE to go here to get your Dental problems fixed. I went in at 11:50am and was out of the Dr. Office by 1:03pm. This place is my new Dental Office. And I hope they continue to thrive and bless people with situations like mine who didn't have an appointment.

I'm happy I didn't give up the search because I found the best Dental Office in the state of ATLANTA. They are nearly a 5 star business for a reason. And yesterday I understood why!

John Padoskewlu the Office Manager is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and a poor business man. Before coming in, I asked if they take my insurance fully and his front desk girl Kristen said yes but conveniently left out they are not in my network. I would not have even come there had they been upfront and honest or if she took a second to find out for sure.

I went there and she forgot to schedule me or tell me that I am out of network. I find out after I have paid already and the Office Manager John, said it doesn't matter we have your signature and if you miss your appointment it's $95! I couldn't believe it. They would rather an upset customer than refunding $300 lil dollars. If yall were hurting that bad for $300 then just say that.

This man was in the position of power the right his employee's two huge mistakes by just simply refunding me, but instead he is going to charge me the $95 for not doing this procedure even though HIS employee admitted (I recorded her and she heard me tell him this) that she mistakenly told me the wrong thing and he still won't give me my full refund and he is taking $95 of that. Oh and keep in mind no service has even been performed yet. My mistake for paying ahead of time and trusting a business to practice decency or proper training.

The worst customer service I have ever received by John Padtowskil, incredibly unprofessional, rude, and just a bad businessman. I called weeks in advance to make my appointment and planned ahead with my job so I can leave early to make the appointment. When I called I asked specifically do you take my insurance fully, and Kristen ran my number and said yes.

I only came in because the lady I spoke to told me this. I arrive she said to be honest I think I remember that call and I just didn't remember to put you in. I said okay well please fix this because it's dang near impossible to leave my job early to make here before you all close. She said we can look at next week I said I'm sorry but I'm not leaving I can't.

So I waited almost 2 hours and they finally got me in. So afterwards I pay for the service I was getting in a few weeks. I get the receipt in the email and it says OUT OF NETWORK and I would have paid $44 but they charged me $382! They tell me after I paid that I was out of network and in fact I was NOT fully covered. I SPECIFICALLY asked on the phone if you take my insurance fully.

I wouldn't have even stepped foot in there had the girl (who later admitted she was new and made a mistake) shared the correct information. They refuse to give me a refund. The head Doctor.well Dentist.said "well technically you only asked if we took your insurance so we won't be refunding you and if you don't come it's $95." I said but the service has not even been performed and SHE made the mistakes, so you refuse to right her wrongs?" He did not answer a yes or no question he just stayed saying he won't refund me. I couldn't believe he was okay with his staff making huge mistakes and not fixing it. Don't go here. Just bad business.

I was a patient years ago before I moved. Just got an invoice that I owe 95.00. I have amazing insurance. I only went there for my free cleanings and I would pay for any supplement requests right there right then. I called them and realized that it was a cancellation charge.but guess what? It was for when it was snowing years ago and there was black ice on the road.

And I felt unsafe so I called to reschedule. And I showed up to my next appointment. If anyone would've told me I was going to be charged for that. I guess I should've walked there. A doctor that doesn't even care about their patient's Well being. Go some where else. There's plenty of places that are better in buckhead.

The staff was great. They dentist were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone. Quick wisdom extraction which is rare. I wish I could give more stars.

I went to get a wisdom tooth extraction. I called my insurance to confirm that it would be covered, and they also spoke with the dental representative. I sat on the phone with my insurance for over an hour in pain for the representative to confirm because they kept hanging up on him. I eventually gave them my cell to confirm. I would've left them but my options were limited and I was in pain.

I paid almost $300 upfront, and I was sent another bill for almost $500 three months later! My insurance claims that it was never sent in. I would give them no stars if possible.

Paid $500 to pull one tooth because my insurance wasn't accepted even though I sat on the phone with the provider and confirmed he was in network and confirmed my coverage and out-of-pocket expenses as the receptionist called the provider. The receptionist came back and told me I only have coverage for accidents. Then proceeds to tell me that along with my not having coverage they only had dental codes and my insurance was medical.

Anyone with sense understands a tooth extraction is not medical in any way. I got it pulled because I was in excruciating pain; the tooth was also fractured. However, shortly after this visit, I went to another facility and it costs me $100 to get the other 3 teeth pulled using my same insurance. If you have insurance please go anywhere else but here. Don't wait until the pain is unbearable and go to his office because your pain will be preyed upon.

Long term I have requested my documents several times with no one getting back to me for months. I obviously would like to self-file an insurance claim to get some of my money covered. If for any reason you are still going here, get an itemized report and visit summary because he will simply give you a credit card receipt that doesn't say what you paid for. This is the most intentionally deceptive place I have been to for medical care. I plan on filing a complaint to the board.

I came here 2 years ago for service, and a year and a half later got a bill for service. When I questioned why it took 2 years to get the bill, they said they would get back in touch with me because they were going to investigate. Then a few months later, I got another bill. When I questioned why again, they said they would take 50% off the bill, but that I was still responsible.

My insurance has changed since then, and it seems like bills shouldn't take 2 years to send. I paid for the service when I was there, and then to find out I owe more 2 years later is ridiculous. I won't be back.

I broke my veneer over the weekend went to the dentist this morning. Worst experience at a dentist office I have ever had! The dentist was so rude, horrible bed side manner. Not sure if the dentist was having a bad morning, or just doesn't like black people. Regardless, he was demeaning and rude. As bad as I needed my veneer fixed I just got up and left the office. No dentist is going in my month with an attitude. Definitely would not recommend this Dentist office. I would give it zero starts if I could.

I came in for an emergency procedure and was blown away by how nice the staff was. Not only that but the dentist did my root canal and I felt little to no pain throughout the procedure. He did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who is uneasy about seeing a dentist. He explains everything that's going on thoroughly and is incredibly patient and kind

Michael B's review is hilarious. Padolsky is not a doctor or a dentist. He may have a degree but he is neither. I WAS at this group for an emergency and prepared for a large fee. Here's the problem-not only is Dr. Padolsky a misogynist but he also charges exorbitant fees upfront then does not return phone calls to make the appointment to DO THE JOB.

He preys on women talks about my breasts and lips then yells and abuses his female and male staff in front of his customers (not patients since he is not a real doctor). I saw him twice and a payment plan for 6500$ He took the $6500 and never did the work. He preys on those with dental emergencies - tells them the plan upfront, then does not return calls or make appointments to do the job.

He is a scam artist, the most base, vile human if I can be so kind to call him that and not only did I take him to court but filed an harassment complaint with the ADA American Dental Association and sent my story to Atlanta Magazine so that hopefully he will never practice again. All his karma will come back to this deplorable person and I can't wait.

Whatever your emergency or non emergency - go somewhere else or, I guess if you are a man and just need a cleaning - I still wish you luck. He doesn't deserve sticky pennies in gutters for breathing let alone practicing dentistry. Caution and warning are far from what I can suggest to anyone who ever has this misfortune to cross paths with this terror, #metoo and criminal.

I don't understand why they want customers to pay in advance to schedule a treatment. The last time, I paid in advance for a root canal, they started the process and realized they didn't have the technology to finish it. I was not reimbursed, still charged full price and recommended to another dentist to finish the process, who also charged me full price.

I went back to this dentist just to finish up one last thing with them and they wouldn't schedule me because I said I will pay once I receive the treatment. I'll never go back!

Appointment schedule several weeks out. Called me the morning of my appointment to cancel (1 hour before the appointment). Everyone makes mistakes; rescheduled for a few weeks later, and called to cancel on me again the night before. Guess I was the one who made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt. Pretty trash experience.

So almost 2 months later still waiting for my refund. Also did a 2nd opinion with my regular dentist and was told I didn't need the 1200 bone graft that was recommended so glad I didn't get it. Wish I had waited to let my reg doctor so the extraction of that was even needed.

My first concern was that I was IN THE BUILDING for 25 minutes before I got asked one COVID question. No one ever checked my temp. and the covid questions were on an iPad. I'm a doctor. we check patient temps before anyone enters the building and a medical professional asks the questions about possible covid symptoms directly and outside of the facility.

Problem number two was the layout of the exam rooms. Yes there were walls between the dental chairs however they were incomplete partitions. So at the end of the wall/dividers there was roughly an 8 x 3 foot opening where you could see into the other rooms, no plexiglass, no barrier. the patient next to you is 3-4 feet away. with dental procedures happening and no adequate barriers to pathogens in a pandemic.

Problem 3 was that I was there to simply have a crown glued back in. The assistant came in and said it would be $265 for xrays PLUS $200 for the glue for the tooth. I left, went to another dentist and for $120 got my crown glued back in. BEWARE.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Padolsky is a good Dr. and very nice. He explains everything and answers all questions. My visit was very enjoyable. All employees were so friendly and helpful.

Horrible, my son just left there in extricating pain. I told him tell them it need to be pulled TODAY.instead they charged him.$260.for exam.and xray! I'm pissed.so now he has to still find another dentist to pull his tooth! I called dude tried to get jazzy with me! Do not go here!

Horrible experience. The niceness is a part of the scam. I went in on a Saturday with excruciating pain from a wisdom tooth that I requested to be extracted. However Dr. Padolsky talked me into getting a root canal stating that if the tooth was pulled, it would affect my chewing. He proceeded with the root canal and stated after he finished i would have to come back for another session because he was not sure exactly how many canals I had.

The following Monday I called the dentist back because I was experiencing so much pain and I just rather get a tooth extracting because the pain was unbearable. The office manager(his son) stated that he would have to talk with the dentist about rescheduling my treatment plan and they will call me back. Needless to say no one called me back within 24 hours so I went to another dentist and I was informed that based on the x-rays there was no sign of a root canal performed.

Bottom line this Dentist is a greedy scam and does not care about his patients. He will suggest more expensive services regardless of how much pain the patient may be in just to feed his greed. Please read the comments below a lot of the comments below are saying the same thing about the dentist suggesting a root canal over an extraction and again this is just to feed his need for GREED. My last concern is that the dentist does not wear a face shield only a mask which can potentially put people at risk for COVID-19. PLEASE BE AWARE.

I went in today because my tooth broke. I wanted the tooth removed, but instead the doctor wanted to charge me 3000$ to root canal the toon because he felt it was a "good tooth". However, how is a tooth good when it cost 3000$ to fix. No it's not a good tooth the money is good to line your pockets during COVID since losing business! Do not go here this was a waste of 50$, and exposure to COVID for no reason!

I asked for my dental X-rays only for the from desk to tell me it will take him a week to 30days in order for me to get them. Even though they are aware I am trying to go to another dentist office to get my tooth taken care of. Let's just say they are making sure my problem do not get taken care of because I'm not paying them out of pocket to do it

CROOKS. I was out of town and needed a crown placed back on that had fallen off previously that they placed on. It happens. No big deal. The place is dirty, the light used to look into my mouth did not work, the dentist put his bare hands in my mouth and I could go on and on. Which I will in another post. I paid up front what they thought the difference was from my insurance and their fees. Normal, especially since I was out of town.

My insurance came back and paid $149.00 more than they anticipated. I have tried since DEC to have them pay the money that they owe me and they refused. They agree it is a credit but the bookkeeper will not send me my check. DO NOT step foot in this place. Not only will you put your health at risk but also your wallet. First stop of many to come - Georgia Board of Dentistry. Stay tuned. Not going to stop until they give me the money that does not belong to them.

Horrible dentist with a disgustingly rude personality. The front desk staff are just as horrible, unprofessional, and rude. They overcharge for services. Beware of this place and find a dentist that's worthy of your hard earned money. This place is a joke!

Be mindful of the pricing and call your insurance before going to them. The pricing is inflated and beyond normal. Trust I had other dental offices look at their pricing and it's ridiculous. Also make sure the dental assistants change their gloves each time before sticking their hand in your mouth!

I hve been a patient for approx 20 years. I still hve all my teeth. I am fearful of dentist because of a couple of bad experiences as a child but I hve had nothing but good experiences w/The Atlanta Dental Group

Everyone was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr P explained my problem and how it can be corrected. I felt good about his plans to correct it. Made an appointment to go ahead with the treatment.

I was really looking forward to getting rest of my work done by Dr P.but his staff is very rude, sarcastic and argumentative.especially the office manager.after months of being misled, argued with and even lied to when I'm unhappy about it he said I was " being mean" I really hope something changes, and I can stick with Dr P.but as of now I'm not comfortable spending anymore of my money there and when I told them I was going elsewhere for a very expensive procedure they didn't seem to care.

I have been going here for a several years for cleanings etc. and almost every time I would go, Dr. Paldosky would have an altercation with one of the staff, another patient or both. A new front office staff seemed to be there each time I visited. The last straw for me was that I went for an emergency root canal, that he only partially performed and insisted I come back the next day.

Perhaps we could have finished in the first appointment if he had not taken a personal phone call phone from a distant cousin to make Christmas plans. He did all this in front of me! I will never go back.

I'm all about customer service, I must say that the front desk staff aren't really friendly, and can be a little rude. I would say the Dentist are very awesome, straight to the point and will tell you what you need done. The Dental Hygienist is very cool, friendly and will have your teeth feeling good. I decided to find another dental group, because of the lack of customer service the front desk staff have. The ladies at the desk weren't compassionate and had the worst attitudes ever. The last experience that I had at the office was not pleasant, so I had to bounce.

Horrible! They are pleasant over the phone but they are unorganized and not helpful AT ALL! If you need dental work, keep looking. Don't let the sweetness of the person who answers the phone fool you, this dental office is horrible!

You might want to ignore most of the negative reviews here. Dr. Johnson & Dr. Padolsky are excellent dentists. They are extremely thorough and intelligent. I also think my hygienist is superb. The only reason I submitted 4/5 stars is because there have been a few office situations that didn't impress me. I'd probably give them a 4.5. Most of the people posting negative reviews are last minute, emergency appointments, who don't realize how dental insurance works. You mean dentists have to charge you to look at your teeth and take X-rays? Ummm.yes! Give them a shot and I think you'll agree with my review.
