Dr. Tamara S Miller

We found Dr. Miller almost seven years ago and she has been great. She had done my two son's phase 1. Actually, one of them is almost finishing phase 2 with Invisalign at it has being a great process. As a mother, I also decided to go through after two treatments with other doctors many years ago, she finally could get the smile that I wanted. I really recommended her as she is passionate about her work, the staff is always friendly, and all the assistants are great.

Dr. Miller is amazing! She is highly educated in her field and consistently creates perfect smiles. My oldest child has completed treatment and now has a beautiful smile, she regularly receives compliments regarding how straight her teeth are. Even though my family and I are now living in the Houston area, we still travel to Keller for orthodontic treatment for our second child.

My oldest three children have gotten their orthodontic work from Dr Miller. All three were so different, but each found just the right fit. Her office staff is also amazing and worked with us when needed. We have always felt supported and taken care of.

If you don't go to Dr Miller you're missing out and doing it wrong. I travel from Mi to continue treatment with Dr. Miller and her team. There is nothing but good things to say about them. They are always so friendly from the moment you walk in, to sitting in the chair, seeing Dr Miller, and on your way out! From making my consultation all the way up until now they have worked with me on making appointments, ensuring treatment would work states away, offering to help me find someone here to help with minor things if needed.

I've never been anxious or overwhelmed during a visit like I am with other dental appointments. I started to see progress with my braces in a month and am excited to see my final results in 10 months. It'll be a sad (but also exciting) day when I have my braces removed and don't get to see them anymore.

We vetted a few different orthodontists before selecting Dr. Miller. Each doctor's course of treatment for my daughter varied greatly--from wanted to immediately pull several teeth and getting her started in braces to Dr. Miller's more gentle approach of using an expander to see if the teeth would come out on their own (all but one did!). I chose Dr. Miller because she was willing to listen to our concerns and not immediately go with the most invasive treatment. She spends time with us at every appointment and everyone in her office is fantastic to work with.

Dr. Miller and her staff continue to go above and beyond our expectations. They always welcome us with a friendly smile. They take the time to give a thorough explanation of where we are with treatment. They are very professional and happy to answer any questions. My daughter looks forward to each treatment because of the prizes she can earn. We couldn't be more please with our experience so far.

My favorite orthodontist: Dr. Miller; she straightened my teeth, my daughter's teeth and now she is helping Miss Molly, (my FABULOUS friend) get a pretty smile. Thank you Dr. Miller to you and your FABULOUS staff.

Tamara and her team are the best. It is a fun family atmosphere, and Tamara is most always there interacting with her team and patients. Thanks to all the staff, my kids have perfect smiles.

Love this office. The atmosphere of the staff is very welcoming and they always make my daughter feel safe throughout the entire process. She looks forward to earning more points each time she comes to buy more items. Marcie is our FAV

After a horrible experience with a dentist when my daughter was younger, anything related to the dentist has been a nightmare for her with anxiety so bad that she had to be sedated to get through any exam or procedure. We were referred to Dr. Miller for braces and I was so impressed with them from the beginning. They called ahead to let me know they knew she was nervous and they were prepared.

When we got there the entire staff was already aware of her anxiety and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and felt welcome and answered all of her questions. Now she bugs me wanting to know when her next appointment is and is excited to go see Dr. Miller. I never thought I would see the day when she would be excited to go to a dentist but here we are and I am so thankful for Dr. Miller and her amazing staff!

Me and My Husband and Kids went here because our dentist recommended it I didn't see why not, me and my husband said "this is in the south lake area it may be expensive" well you guessed it, we were right me and my husband spent $10K on Braces and an Expander. While I was reading reviews about this place it seem like Mrs. Tamara Miller says Jaw Surgery A LOT she said that to my daughter but not to my son? my daughter had an overbite and we got an expander for her to wear 6 months my son did not need one though he got his braces after my daughter got her expander.

This places seems awesome cause it's in the south lake area dont waste your money and go somewhere else, this place is pretty much a ripoff. I went to another place called "Scott M Staffel, DDS - Staffel Dental." It's Cheaper and Better.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ms. Tamara and her staff. I'm 25 and I had braces on for three years. I've never been so excited to finally get my braces off in a month. It hasn't even felt like 3 years to be honest. The staff here is truly amazing and so sweet! Always asking how I am and about work and things like that.

They definitely care about their patients! And Ms. Tamara explains things and talks to me about my teeth's progress. She's so sweet. Thank you to her and her staff for making my smile looking amazing!

Dr Miller is absolutely Gorgeous inside and out, she's kind, sweet and caring! She's definitely the Total Package when you are looking for the perfect Orthodontist Of course a patient always meets the staff first.so "the team" at Dr Miller's office was who I fell in love with first They are each totally adorable, positive, sweet and fun!

The thing is Dr Miller has built a professional team who truly care about the patient experience I think every dental office in Texas should go take a tour at Dr Miller's office. My daughter was treated by Dr. Miller and her staff for the last 18 months. We are both so happy with the end result. My daughter's teeth are aligned and look perfect. Dr. Miller and her staff are very professional and keep appointment times on schedule. She sets your expectations at the beginning of the treatment and she delivers. My 8 year old son needed to start braces early to allow room for permanent teeth to come in so we have been seeing Dr. Miller for over a year. My son loves visiting the office with all the fun activities and of course collecting "ortho bucks". The staff is wonderful with kids too! I can't say enough great things about Dr. Miller and her staff. Highly Recommend!

Our daughter was a patient of Dr Tamara Miller, we spent $10k on treatment, Dr Miller said that our daughter might need jaw surgery, seems that she recommends that to a lot of patients. Now a couple of years later, she is recommending putting braces back on for 16 months.oh and by the way.it will cost another $5K! Please go somewhere else for second opinion, just because she is in Southlake area, she is NOT the best option. She seems so nice at first but when challenged or questioned she becomes very confrontational and defensive.

So far, very pleased with this business. All I needed was a replacement retainer (lost mine after 14 years.) but they were able to get me in for a FREE consultation. Which was nice but I felt unnecessary. My appointment was at 2:50, I was seen at about 3:15. They took photos and X-rays and then she showed me my options for retainers. I was out of the office by 4:00.

The receptionist was top notch, very nice, helpful and even chatted me up a bit. Then the (I think she was a) nurse took the X-rays and was very kind and talkative. The orthodontist lady seemed nice too. I didn't like the fact that I have to come back to take molds of my mouth. I really would have just liked them to do it right then so I could get my retainer within the week.

Oh well. I understand they want to cover all bases. Plus they found that my bottom permanent retainer was missing a glue spot. So I guess that's good that I can get that fixed. They have games and magazines and offered me coffee and tea and you get a cookie when you leave. Way better then my orthodontist as a kid! Definitely check them out! UPDATE: Went in to pick up my retainer and it didn't fit right.

They had also forgotten to put in a special acrylic piece that we had agreed on and was in the notes. Good news is they made me a new one for free (the second time it fit perfectly and the acrylic piece wasn't forgotten) and let me keep the wobbly one as a backup. The only bad part was it took almost a month for me to get a new retainer that fit.

We were referred to Dr. Miller by our dentist. While the office is convenient - just down the street from my children's school - I have to admit it was one of the biggest mistakes we've made since moving to the area. Dr. Miller is VERY quick to recommend surgical options - not just to both my children, but I've heard her say the words "jaw surgery" to far too many young patients while handing them referrals.

When I took both my kids to other drs (not the one she recommended), they laughed at the idea of doing surgery - either because there was no need.or the kids were too young for it to be effective. She's very quick to place blame on the patients for a less than desirable outcome (even when a second opinion pointed out that my child's appliance was defective.after he'd be wearing it for a year).

The staff never told me the appliance was faulty until they were removing it and then, yep, you guessed it, the only option was "jaw surgery" for a 14 year old. Dr. Miller seems pleasant on the surface, but if you question her at all, she quickly becomes confrontational and surly. There are numerous orthodontists in the north Keller area. PIck a different one.

Dr. Miller's practice differentiates itself from the others with an eye for the details. A comprehensive program for the kids, rewards, events, contests, a warm and friendly environment and staff. Highly recommend!
