Dr. Lais graduated with honors from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He went on to serve his country as a dentist in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. During his three years of military service, he gained wide-ranging clinical experience serving under board-certified specialists in the areas of oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. Their approach is similar to the Mayo Clinic's in which multiple specialists gather to craft a single patient treatment plan.
We've intentionally designed a peaceful and calming environment to ensure you can relax and rest easy during your visit. While many dental practices are merely reactive, we're also proactive and forward thinking in our approach. I'm not sure where exactly to start with explaining how much my life has changed in just a little more than a year. I can now actually eat corn on the cob without cutting it off. I can actually chew and enjoy a steak. When I smile you can see my top and bottom teeth - it's actually a smile. I just wish I had come to Dr. Lais 6 years ago when I started my journey into fixing my teeth and let him get it right the first time. I recommend Dr. Lais and his office staff for all your dental needs. He is my hero.

I was experiencing the most irritating, burning, constant tingling sensation in my upper gums. Nothing I did helped. I was recommended to Dr Lais and got an appointment quickly. After diagnosing my problem, I was fitted with an appliance and started to see some relief after a week. It's been a journey, not a quick fix, but I am definitely relieved, no burning or tingling.
It was a muscle problem and my bite had gotten off, going to see what we have to do to fix that so this doesn't happen again. I had seen my dentist and primary MD, they tried but didn't fix the problem. I sincerely thank everyone at Lais Dentistry for their help. I was in such discomfort and got relief. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They're professional, very friendly and reassuring. Truly a good experience for me.

Dr Lais's team is always attentive, easy to schedule with and top notch in skills snd patient comfort. I have had a lot of dentists over the years. Dr Lais has always been attentive to my needs. Previous dental work even from childhood was always traumatic. His fine touch is comforting. He gives the best local anesthetic shot of any dentist! Thank you all for your attention over 15 years!

Dr. Lais and his team are awesome! I loved the individual & customized approach they take to care for their patients. Everyone was so kind and really made you feel comfortable. They take time getting to know you and tailoring a plan that works for you. They are definitely a one of a kind office and I highly recommend them!

Upon arriving, I was greeted by the staff and they were very welcoming. The office was clean, well maintained and organized. I was nervous to go because of previous bad experiences, but Noel was very personable and she helped my nerves go down. David did an amazing job making sure all of the information was explained thoroughly and he was precise with everything.
He did a great job and was very easy going! Dr. Lais was very professional and made my treatment plan a breeze. He helped guide me through what I needed to do and he helped plan my next visit in a timely manner, which I appreciated. Overall, I am glad I found Lais Dentistry because they are helping me get back on track. I definitely recommend this office to any new customers that are having their doubts. I will be coming back and making this my regular dentist from now on. 5/5

My dentist is better than your dentist. Hahah. Seriously, no one compares. I've had extensive dental over the years due to braces 35 years ago that messed up my bite which was never even looked at by any other dentist. They just capped and never had any explanation for why my teeth were wearing down and the constant headaches. I had such high anxiety that When I heard of sedation dentistry, I decided to try it.
Enter Dr. Lais. (after a few dozen different dentists in different parts of the country), it's been a few years and still no more headaches teeth are healthy and my bite is correct and no more cavities. Life-altering goodness. Now our whole family goes to him. My son is getting Invisalign for kids and rest of the family is just getting "regular" checkups. They are the best. And if you need caps. his temporaries are better than anyone else's permanent ones. And he's an expert at root canals, too. The best!

I am not typically effusive in writing reviews, but with Dr. Lais, I must make an exception. First, he treated my mother who needed some extensive dental work since she had gone awhile since her last visit. She's been nervous about dentistry her whole life. Both Dr. Lais and David treated with the gentleness she needed to get this done. But, then, by coincidence, the same week he treated my mother, I was in sudden need of a root canal.
I was in extreme pain and somehow, it seems that the entire dental profession takes off on Fridays. I was looking at 3 days in pain. My mother encouraged me to call Dr. Lais, and he agreed to see me the next morning, on a Saturday, on an emergency basis, because I was in pain. He and David performed the root canal, and the pain was eased. I could not be more thankful because like I wrote, root canal pain is about the worst pain you can have. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Lais.

Dr. Lais has been my dentist for almost 14 years. He and his compassionate team of specialists changed my life by transforming my smile. I grew up afraid to show my teeth, I hid my smile. After working with Lais dentistry I can't show off my smile enough! Dr and His Hygienist are so gentile and through. I highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone!
