Glen Ellyn Pediatric Dentistry, P.C. opened its doors in 1987. After over 25 years, our Glen Ellyn-based practice has grown, but our treatment philosophy remains the same. Dr. Lance Lambert, Dr. Claire Garcia, Dr. Joyce Koh and Dr. Jaime Pettenon are committed to providing the highest-quality, personalized dental care in an environment that welcomes children of all ages and abilities. Our office provides comprehensive dental care for children ranging from infants to adolescents, and we see many patients with special health care needs.
Services
Our pediatric dental office specializes in the treatment of children from infancy through adolescence. We treat healthy children as well as those who have medical and physical challenges. When calling to schedule an appointment, please indicate any special needs your child may have. These factors often require additional time, and advanced knowledge will help us in scheduling.
Thank you for choosing Glen Ellyn Pediatric Dentistry for your child's dental care. As we anticipate a long-term relationship with our patients and their families, keeping current in communication and payment is important. It is our goal to offer high quality, affordable dental care to children of all ages and abilities.
New parents have plenty to worry about: making sure their baby is healthy and happy, re-arranging their lives around hectic schedules and lost sleep, and figuring out what to do in all sorts of novel situations. When it comes to your child's oral health, though, there's plenty of help available. It all begins at our office, when you bring your youngster in for his or her first visit to the dentist. When will we meet your child? According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a child's first checkup should occur by age one.
Your child won't keep his or her first teeth forever, but that doesn't mean those tiny pearly whites don't need conscientious care. Maintaining your child's dental health now will provide health benefits well into adulthood, as primary (baby) teeth serve some extremely important functions. For one thing, primary teeth serve as guides for the eruption of permanent (adult) teeth, holding the space into which these new teeth will erupt. The crowns (tops) of the permanent teeth actually push against the roots of the baby teeth, causing them to resorb, or melt away.

I was referred to the dentist. My 5 year old needed some caps and cavities. He treated my daughter like it was his granddaughter, he was patient and had good tricks to distract her from the pain. I paid out of pocket, but the price was very reasonable. Its hard to find a good dentist, and if you are looking this dentist was awesome!

Amazing experience! My daughter and I have been here numerous times and have always walked away having a pleasant experience. We had a very traumatic first encounter with a previous dentist that left my daughter so fearful of even opening her mouth at the dentist. It would take at least 30 minutes of coaxing to even allow anyone to take a peek at her teeth after that incident.

We were referred to Glen Ellyn Pediatrics by another provider after my daughter's cavities started worsening. We had been seeing Dr. Koh who was gentle, patient and just an all around great provider since we started coming to the office. Since my daughter was 4, we were using conservative measures in order to preserve her teeth with the cavities.

We were hoping she would become more accustomed with the dentist visits to the point that eventually we would get her teeth pulled without it being so traumatic. One night she woke up crying in pain due to her tooth hurting. I called the office the next morning and they were able to fit her in within a couple hours. We saw Dr. Lambert who was very knowledgeable, had a great bedside manner and he was very patient with my daughter.

He didn't seem rushed and he answered all my questions. I knew it was time to get her tooth pulled and set up a the procedure in 1 week. Due to covid, the schedule was bombarded with everyone trying to get in for their visits since the office had been closed for months. Before leaving, the office staff told me to call if anything came up and sure enough about 1-2 days later my daughter couldn't take the pain anymore.

I called the office after hours and they were so wonderful and genuinely concerned. They set up the procedure to have her tooth pulled the next day. I was so anxious about the procedure but thankfully everyone went smoothly. They used oral versed and my daughter responded to it very well. She wasn't fearful one bit about the procedure and she doesn't even remember a lot about what went on.

She even told me that it didn't hurt when they pulled her tooth. When I asked her if she wanted to go back to the dentist she cheerfully responded "yes"! I can't thank Dr. Lambert, Dr. Koh, Mallory and all the other office staff enough for the wonderful and kind service & help that they have shown to not only my daughter but to the rest of my family as well. I trust the staff fully and I recommend this clinic 100%!

My 8 year old daughter Elora had to get 2 teeth pulled yesterday. We were all very nervous and anxious about this, especially myself and her father. I had to work yesterday but her dad stayed with for the surgery and sent me a coupe pictures during it. She was given numbing gel on her gums and then got a little of the nitrous gas which was marshmallow scented.

Then they gave her the shot in her gum which she said wasn't too bad and they had a tv right above her head which she got to pick any movie she wanted. Her dad said the whole surgery went great and everyone was very nice and gentle and Elora never cried or was scared. Dr. Garcia was her dentist and she was so nice as was everyone that interacted with my daughter.

Yesterday evening Elora was tired and the numbing had worn off and she felt a little sore and just wanted to cuddle and watch a movie which is normal. This morning I asked her how she felt and how Pulling her teeth went and she said "I feel great! When they pulled my tooth I was just watching Scooby Doo and waiting while she was cleaning in my teeth and doing stuff and I was waiting for her to pull out my teeth and then I heard her say ""All done!"" And I looked over and I could see my teeth in the clamp things on the table and I didn't even know she pulled my teeth out!" She also got her teeth in a cute little box and a few different toys she got to pick out of the treasure chest.

I really appreciate them taking such good care of her and will definitely go back! I would 100% recommend them to anyone nervous about going to the dentist. Their prices were completely reasonable as well as we don't currently have dental insurance. Thank you so much to all the staff for taking such good care of my baby!

Our first experience with this group was last night at about 10pm after my 3 year old son hit his face while jumping on our couch and destroyed his lower front teeth. I called the emergency line and Dr. Garcia told us to come in. She was amazing. She stayed until after midnight working to save his teeth. She even came after hours again tonight after his stint loosened. She is professional, knowledgeable and just great with kids. Most importantly, she really seems to care. We will be making this our permanent dentist.

Not thrilled thus far with this establishment. We've been going to a dentist farther from home with no issues. This location is closer to home and was referred by our children's Ortho. We showed up for our 8:00 am appointment and we were seen at 8:17. I'm too busy to waste almost 20 minutes. I'm sure they wouldn't like to waste their time either. Don't waste yours.

This place is truly wonderful. I had to take my 3 year old son here for some work and they were fantastic from the moment I called. I can't remember the receptionists name who called me back and set up the first appointment and also checked us out that first day, explaining the charges and insurance but she was just great (Maybe Fe?). We were greeted by Martha who was caring, helpful and funny (I was having some mom guilt and she said they treat that too ).

The first hygienist we saw, Rochelle, was great with my little guy as she took xrays. Very sweet. On future appts Dr. Garcia and Dr. Koh both explained things to me very well and as they did work they explained everything to him so well. The tvs on the ceiling are a fabulous touch. The dental assitant we had, Samantha, is so sweet and attentive to his needs and the dentists needs.

It just seems like everyone there is naturally doing what they are great at and meant to be doing. Thank you for getting him all sorted and for subsequently treating my mom guilt. Highly recommend!

My son has been a patient for over 10 years of Dr. Lambert. His office is phenomenal for children, the staff is great, and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend them for pediatric dentistry.

This is the best pediatric dentist office that I've ever seen. The dentists and staff are all warm and friendly. My daughter is usually very anxious with doctors and she seemed completely comfortable each time she visited this office. I can't say enough wonderful things about this office.

The front office staff is very nice. Stacy and Vanessa were very friendly as they helped with an impression for a night guard. Joyce Koh DDS is great. The whole experience was pretty quick, too. I arrived on time and they were on schedule. There are two family bathrooms within their suite and everything is clean with a cheerful decor.

Was referred to this place because my son wouldn't sit still to take X-rays at my previous dentist. I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in. My kids went straight to the play area. The staff are great and very friendly. My son was seen by Dr Facko. He did very well with my son. The staff was able to take X-rays with no issue. The rooms had different themes. It was a very cheerful environment. Other than them not taking my insurance, overall I love this place

Today we took our 3 year old son his 6 month appointment and our 2 year old daughter for her first ever appointment. The entire staff is so welcoming and make you feel right at home. They take the time to explain everything to your kids and make the experience fun for them. Each room has a cool theme from puppies to rain forest. They even have flavored gloves and let me tell you the grape flavored are a huge hit! Our kids picked cookie dough toothpaste today and strawberry fluoride today. Both of our kids LOVE going to the dentist and we are so thankful to GE Ped Dentistry for that!

This review is for Dr Richard Facko. I had recently noticed that my toddler's (2.5yr) teeth were looking yellow and realized we needed to make a trip to the dentist. I called the practice and got an appointment for the next day. We arrived on time and didn't have to wait very long. The reception has a play area to keep the little ones occupied.

The nursing staff are great and take a lot of effort to put the children at ease by showing them the different rooms (decorated with different themes) while Dr Facko got a brief history of my child's eating habits. He was very gentle and patient while examining my daughter and made sure she was always comfortable. He addressed all my concerns and also told me what should be improved. My daughter walked out with a bag of 'dental' goodies and a smile. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. I will be coming back here.
