Dr. Schechter has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and is passionate about helping patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. He graduated from New York University Dental School and concurrently received his Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University. Dr Schechter is a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Our exceptional staff is our greatest asset. Dr. Schechter has comprised a team of highly qualified Dental Hygienists, Certified Dental Assistants, and Scheduling Coordinators that are here to help you and your family get the care you deserve. They are always willing to take the time necessary to ddress your concerns.
Technology has offered the dental field many options in patient care. We have begun to use various types of new technology in our practice to make your experience at our office more comfortable, informative, and efficient. Dr. Schechter has integrated computers into the process of taking x-rays. Digital radiography is used to instantly display the x-ray image on a computer screen.
Every day wear and tear, aging, accidents and unchecked periodontal disease can lead to cracked, broken, or missing teeth.all of which can lead to further problems if not corrected. With today's materials and advanced techniques, Dr. Schechter can keep you smiling for years to come. Crowns are placed over the entire tooth, restoring it to its normal shape and size.

I've been a patient of Dr. Schechter's since 2002 when I lived across the street. At the time, it has been several years since I had seen a dentist. I used to think of them as "only when you need them" type of medical professional because of past dental experiences resulting from my own poor dental care. Dr. Schechter has always made me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe.
He and his staff take the highest level of safety precautions when working on my teeth. On each visit, I am made to feel comfortable with clear explanations of what was happening and continued inquiries of how I was doing. Their sedation offering allowed me to get through some difficult procedures. As someone who has always hated dentists, I'm so glad I found Dr. Schechter. Now I have a healthy smile I am proud of!

Dr. Schechter and staff always make sure I am not in any pain. They answer all my questions. The rooms have big windows that look out at large trees covered in snow (at least at this time of year), which is calming. Going to this dental office is, by far, one of the nicest dental experiences I have ever had.

Dr. Schecter is technically exceptionally skilled. That is matched by his kindness and generous spirit. While the staff is highly professional and always on time, I never feel rushed. No question is stupid. The office is beautiful, perfectly cleaned and maintained, and I know I'm in very good hands.

This is hands down the most thorough place I have ever been to in regards to dentistry. The staff is extremely polite, very helpful and organized. Dr. Schechter is a very smart and capable man who always provides you with all the information you need to know when it comes to the health of your gums and teeth. If you come to Dr. Schechter's office, you are guaranteed a thorough cleaning, a quick whitening, and a cute little pouch that includes a toothbrush, floss, chapstick, and a card that has a reminder of the date of your next dental visit on it! 10/10 recommend!

Dr. Schecter is an excellent dentist. He and his fabulous team are efficient, friendly, and exceedingly competent. They truly care about their patients and provide every level of service without ever pushing treatments or therapies that are not necessary (a problem I have experienced with other dentists). They work with all insurers and the VA. They have a text reminder service which I find really helpful for not missing appointments. Recommend highly.

Dr. Schechter and staff are amazing.they take their time, have up to date technology and Dr. Schechter is a perfectionist. My youngest daughter "loves the dentist" and I feel that it's because they have made her experiences with the dentist such a positive one. We have moved to South Carolina now, but we will still go see Dr. Schechter when we are in town! Highly recommend!

I have dragged my feet about my dental care for a while, but finally went when my company provided dental insurance. Overall, I like the office and staff. They are really nice and explain everything. On the other hand, Doc is a little abrasive. I had a referral to a periodontist who recommended surgery for 5,000. That's a lot of money, and so I told the doc I would not being having laser gum surgery that was not even guaranteed to help.
He just said that I would lose all my teeth. I was a little amazed by his lack of concern, and the fact that I work in the dental supply industry, yet he didn't recommend or prescribe any of the many products that are on the market to help perio issues. I think I may find a different dentist, simply because he did not seem to show compassion at all for my situation.
