In a word FANTASTIC! I have been to a lot of different dentists in my life, and this was by far the best. I needed a lot of work, and everyone in the office was personable, professional and not judgmental. I was given an estimate for the work, but they came in under the estimate and did a fantastic job. I can't recommend Pagosa Smiles enough. We love Pagosa smiles they have changed my daughters whole look and made her teeth so perfect. The fast braces are just that, fast and convenient. Staff is very friendly and made me comfortable getting several procedures done.

Dr. Rutherford and his staff are amazing, friendly and always make you feel welcome. I went with Fastbraces a few months ago and just got them off and now my smile is perfect. Also needed a few fillings on a couple front teeth that were chipped. He and his staff are gentle and they thoroughly explain everything they are doing beforehand and as they are working on you. They truly have provided the best dental experience I've ever had!

Pagosa Smiles staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Susie has been my hygienist for several years and she always makes me feel comfortable. I put off getting a crown for a year as I was hesitant to get any procedures after a bad experience elsewhere. I was reassured when I received x-rays AND photos of the large filling I had with multiple cracks in it. (Very obvious diagnosis to me).
I was given an itemized price for the crown as well as pictures and diagrams of which tooth was affected. On the day of the procedure I was greeted by the wonderful front desk staff, went back within minutes of my appointment time and had a great explanation of what to expect. I was even able to participate in picking out the closest tooth color that would match my current teeth.
During the procedure pictures were taken again of the decay under the filling and around the cracks. Once the decay was removed I was able to look at the remaining tooth again before a temporary crown was placed. Thereafter I was given adequate pain medications before I left and a handout of care after instructions. Once the local anesthetic wore off I had no pain, only mild sensitivity.
The permanent crown was placed 10 days later and I'm very satisfied with the look and feel. Thanks Dr. Jordan Rutherford for restoring my confidence in dentists. I definitely recommend Pagosa Smiles to my family and friends!

We've lived in Pagosa 9 years ago and stayed with Pagosa Smiles even after we moved to the San Luis Valley. So glad I did! I got fast braces in August and they came off by Thanksgiving. I love my results. Straightened up my teeth and helped my bite big time. I'm a grinder so now I have straight teeth, retainers/night guards and even got a free whitening kit. I chipped my front tooth snow skiing and they got me in right away! The compassion that they show is very comforting and they clearly do their best to please. High tech instruments revealed some serious issues I had that headed off some root canals I was obviously going to have one day. I Really appreciate how thorough they are. My new replacement tooth was matched perfectly and promptly put in to my approval. Happy Customer! Most definitely will be back for a dentist and a very friendly staff that gives peace of mind!

My husband woke up in the middle of the with terrible tooth ache. We were vacationing in Pagosa Springs and did not know where to go for help. Wyndham Pagosa referred us to Pagosa Smiles. We were so pleasantly surprised at the warm reception of Dr Rutherford's staff. He saw my husband immediately. Long story short my husband was relieved of worry and pain.
