Dr Balan was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to help get me some dentures b4 my trip to New York. She only had maybe 10 days and pulled off a miracle! Sent me on my way looking like a million bucks! My daughters wanted me to make sure I thanked her for them for making sure their dad looked decent! Thanks Doc!

Great place and staff. Lori was very sweet and professional in explaining things to me during xrays. Dr Balan was caring and very professional during my exam. Brittany the hygienist is intelligent and professional at what she does. She explained things through the process. Great office!

Not too long ago I had a negative experience, but I was very pleased and grateful that Dr. Balan took the time to call, fix it and be sincere and caring about my experience. My husband and I have been going to Discovery Dental since 2015, as long as my dental care continues to be good and the office remains safe, especially during COVID, we will continue to go.

Dr. Balan and her team are great. They know what they are doing and they make sure you always get what you need. I've been going to Dr. Balan for years and I've never had any problems with their service and how they go about getting you what you need. The entire staff is very friendly and I always enjoy chatting with them. I would highly recommend Discovery Park Dental.

I've gone to many dentists who were only concerned w/getting me in the chair, doing as little as possible & getting the insurance $$. This is NOT the case w/Dr. Balan and her friendly and caring staff. I broke off a large section of a front tooth, and Dr. Balan worked me into her busy schedule. I didn't have a dentist in the area, so I relied on the reviews to guide me.

Her staff got me in the next day. Dr. Balan took over an hour to assess the damage, give me a comprehensive treatment plan & check my insurance for coverage, before she started to address the broken tooth. After making repairs to the broken tooth, she took care of two others that were fragile & chipping. She made recommendations for the fragile front teeth so as I continue to age, the breakage will not continue.

I have never met such a dentist who was a complete professional explaining every detail to me, performing gentle and effective care, and insuring I was comfortable during the 1 hour procedure. If you want a dentist that cares about your teeth and your health and doesn't worry about TVs in every room and fluffy pillows, etc., then Dr. Balan is the dentist for you. She and her staff are kind and do their jobs in an excellent fashion.

Dr. Balan and all of her staff are just wonderful! After recently moving to the area I needed to find a new dentist and I am glad I found Discovery Park. You are welcomed with smiles and you leave with a smile because it is that enjoyable of an experience. No one really enjoys going to the dentist and with having hypersensitive teeth it is very painful for me to have an exam, or cleaning done. But, Dr. Balan put all of my fears at ease and also used numbing gel so I would be comfortable during my exam and cleaning. So, if you were like me and dread the dentist or looking for one, you can't go wrong with them!

I have been a patient at Discovery Park Dental since Dr. Balan bought the practice. All of my family are now patients and we could not be more pleased with the service and treatment from the staff. Dr. Balan is very caring and works with you to find the best treatment options for you. I have never and don't expect the up sell from Dr. Balan and her staff that I have experienced at other dental offices in the area. I recommend Discover park Dental to those who are shopping for service/value/customer service from a professional dental office.

Dr. Balan is the best. We all dislike going to the dentist. I absolutely adore this dentist, and She has been so kind and professional. Have you ever had an emergency and didn't know what to do. I was able to call the office after hours with an emergency and get a response. Amazing! Dr. Balan actually called back, after hours. I love this dentist, but I still hate going to the dentist. Lol.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this office. The staff has been 100% professional. Listen, I HATE the dentist( did I mention that)?!?!?. Hate it! But omg. If you're gonna go to the dentist, and we all gotta. you must go here discovery dental & Dr. Balan= happy teeth. I've been going since late 2018, and I still got all my teeth! Lol. Abscess molar, perfect referral to an endodontist in Georgetown. I'm serious. I've never had a better experience, and I literally wanted to die from tooth pain.

Can I please say, you will be so happy with Dr. Balan. The older we get, the more fearful we become when it goes to seeing the dentist. Omg. Please do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Balan. Maybe you can keep all your teeth too! Lol Amazing dentist. Professional. Relaxed office. Amazing. Oh, and amazing. Thank you discovery park dental.

Dr. Balan and the staff there are my heroes, I'm a regular there and with teeth cracking, root canals, & crowns they are always going above a beyond to ensure I'm taken care of and comfortable through the entire process. Thank You very much and special shout out to Anna! My teeth are very happy today. I would suggest these folks if you haven't found a home for your chompers!

Excellent first visit at Discovery Park Dental. The staff were very personable. Dr. Balan did a thorough job examining and cleaning my teeth. It was honestly the best cleaning of my life. I highly recommend this office.

I've been coming here for about 3 years now and I love Dr. Balan. She's very gentle and confident in her work. I love that she hums songs being played on the radio. For some reason it puts me at ease like "this is a easy, you'll be outta here in no time". Shell never recommend a procedure that isn't for your best interest either.

If she recommends a procedure she shows explains why & shows you images. For the past three years she's taken good care of me and fixed bad/painful fillings I've had at other desist offices.

Update: My mother spoke with her insurance, and they let her know that Discovery Park Dental claimed my brother had 10 cavities filled, when he only had 4. The kid doesn't even have 10 whole cavities to begin with. This is outrageous. Do not go here. They will rip you off.

Finally, a wonderful Dentist that is detailed in her work and cares about her patients! Very clean office, with friendly staff, and no wait time : I've had a root canal, fillings, and a cleaning with exam. Thank you Dr. Balan and staff!

Dr. Balen was extremely gracious and gentle. She cleaned my teeth herself since I was so nervous about a sensitive molar. I was very pleased with the amount of time she spent in just talking with me and putting me at ease. I would recommend her to anyone who experiences anxiety when seeing a dentist:

I feel as if everyone has said it already - they're amazing. I came here mostly because they were conveniently located to where I work, but now I'll keep going because of how great Dr. Balan and her staff treated me today. In regards to suggesting treatments you don't need I didn't experience any of that. I had a very thorough exam and cleaning, in which some issues were found that all my previous dentists have missed. I was then given a treatment plan along with a quote and told that I could make an appointment any time I like, and there was no rush. Great experience all around!

Took my son recently due to his lower incisors touching the gums on the roof of the mouth. Dr Balan and her staff are really good. Polite and professional. This has been our regular place to go for dental needs and will continue to be. I highly recommend them.

Had my first visit today. Everyone was awesome! No complaints whatsoever. Very professional and friendly and no surprises at the end of the visit.as in $$$. I only gave 4 stars because it was my first visit. If the next visit goes as well, I'll upgrade to 5 stars.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I had a great experience over several years with Dr. Hastings, but when the new dentist came on board, Dr. Balan, it was awful. I think she is the epitome of evil. I have very sensitive teeth, and require numbing just for routine cleanings - something Dr. Hastings never had any issues with, but apparently Balan has a problem with it.

Believe me, lady, I wish I didn't have to get numb for cleanings! It SUCKS! The first time she tried to get my lower left numb, she couldn't do it. She was, however, able to get my left eye numb, which was very helpful. Not. After several more appointments, things were getting better. Then one day, I had gone in for a normal cleaning, and to have a cavity filled. Normally, after the shot of novocaine or whatever is administered, they would wait a little while for the stuff to do its thing and get numb, but she IMMEDIATELY started jabbing the sharp metal thing into the cavity to check if it was numb!

Then she started talking to me very condescendingly, saying stuff like, 'yeah, see, I didn't even touch your tooth and you're telling me it hurt' when she did, and of course it hurt! And the awful dental tech (I wish I remembered her name for this review) was nodding in agreement with Balan. I couldn't believe it. She had me go do my cleaning in another chair, then she came in and after my mouth was numb, she wouldn't do the fillings and told me I would have to go somewhere else that would put me under anesthesia to have cleanings. So basically, she fired me. Because I don't get numb instantly and I have super-sensitive teeth. Pure evil. I left the office shaking.

I will miss you, Discovery Park Dental. My husband and I are moving and this has been where we go for care for the past five years. They have been amazing and we would always recommend them. They provide excellent care and are great about starting your appointment on time. We love Elaine. The only reason my appointments have ever run long is because we talk, and that will certainly slow down your cleaning : As with any change, we were nervous when Dr. Balan took over, but she has proven to be great. Overall, they will always make you feel comfortable and be patient. They answer your questions and are willing to talk through any issues with you.

Discovery Park Dental is GREAT! Dr Balan & staff are extremely friendly & very helpful. I highly recommend this Dentist if near the Cedar Park area. Latest technology & very clean office.

Terrible! I had an exam and x-rays done. It took forever and the tech's didn't seem to know what to do. After I saw the Dr. They had all this work they said needed to be done. I got a second opinion and all I needed was my teeth cleaned. I will never go back nor recommend them.

I contacted this office for an appointment after too many years of neglecting my dental needs. They got me in the next day because they knew I needed to be seen quickly. I didn't wait more than a minute in the waiting room where I was then taken back and taken exceptional care of by Charity, and then Niki came back to help. They were both so considerate of my anxiety and made sure I was very comfortable during my visit.

The dental evaluation was the most thorough I have ever had. There was no question left unanswered and no surface of my mouth left unchecked. Afterward, I saw Dr. Balan, who was extremely kind and professional. She covered all of my problems and answered every question I had as well. They then explained a good course of treatment for me, which I totally agree with.

Every cost was outlined clearly, every future treatment was outlined as well, with the cost, so that I would know exactly what I would be paying for treatment. My cost for the day was exactly what I'd been quoted over the telephone. I cannot express enough how happy I am with this office. Not only was it on track with the highest technology, but it was extremely clean and every single member of the staff couldn't have been more friendly.

Despite the fact that I also needed an outside referral to a specialist (which they also provided and made sure they accepted my dental plan) this office will be my family's dental office for a very long time.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I had been going to this dentist awhile and at the end of all my procedures, they were terrible! They are great to you until you are almost finished with your plan and then start charging for ridiculous stuff! They charged me for a partial that was not even finished. They still had the partial and had no clue. I go to checl my mail and they send it to me in a cardboard box! Ewww seriously? by the time they got it to me it didnt fit whatsoever.so I am stuck paying for this partial thats sitting in the box it was mailed in. I would never use these people again. He claims to be a christian.i think not.

The people are very friendly and professional. They even call to remind you when you have an appointment. They use the latest technology and give you an itemized receipt which breaks down what insurance covers and what you may have to pay if any. Only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because you only get to see the actual dentist Chris for like 5 minutes each visit.
