Dr. DeVengencie is an endodontist/prosthodontist. He maintains a private practice limited to endodontics in North Olmsted, Ohio. A noted authority in endodontic-prosthodontic interdisciplinary treatment issues, Dr. DeVengencie has been actively involved in clinical and laboratory research in both specialties since 1993.
We have created this section to provide you with detailed information on endodontic procedures. We hope that this information will provide some incite into the treatment plans that Dr. DeVengencie will be going over with you during your visit. If you are visiting this site before your appointment, please jot down any additional questions you may have and we will make every effort to address them during your scheduled appointment. We use our teeth so much during the day that we often forget how complex they are, that is, until we feel pain.
There are many misconceptions surrounding root canal (endodontic) treatment. The American Association of Endodontists wants you to have accurate information. As always, when considering any medical procedure, you should get as much information as you can about all of your options. Your dentist or endodontist can answer many of your questions, and if you still have concerns, it is often wise to seek a second opinion. Most patients see their dentist or endodontist when they have a severe toothache. The toothache can be caused by damaged tissues in the tooth.
We realize that dental insurance is complex and can be difficult to understand. That is why we provide full assistance to you. Our office will complete and submit dental insurance claims on your behalf. We will work diligently to make this happen as quickly as possible. Some dental insurance companies take longer than others to process claims.

Easily the best dental experience I've ever had. I was referred to Dr. DeVengencie by my dentist for a root canal and was seen the same day. Dr. DeVengencie thoroughly explained the process and ensured that my treatment was as pain free as possible. Everything went very smoothly and I would gladly go back for any necessary future procedures.

Dr. DeVengencie and his staff are amazing. I, like many people, don't really enjoy having dental procedures performed. No longer will I dread it. They are absolutely some of the most pleasant and caring professionals in the business. Awesome experience, and the best part. Pain free! I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.
