ALF Appliance Therapy is a non-invasive protocol used to correct bio mechanical structural problems in the cranium (skull) and mandible (lower jaw), which can cause neurological, muscular, and physiological symptoms all over the body. ALF Appliance Therapy utilizes very light, springy forces that are active 24/7, making this therapy extremely dynamic.
Are you one of the millions of people who suffer from headaches, dizziness, or other symptoms caused by TMJ (temporomandibular joint) syndrome? Maybe we can help. Various types of clear plastic splints can be used to treat TMJ syndrome. A bruxism splint, worn mostly at night, keeps you from grinding your teeth and helps reduce muscle tension.
The objective of contemporary orthodontics is a well-proportioned face as well as an esthetic and stable dentition. For that reason, the orthodontist must evaluate the dental arches and face in three dimensions of space: transverse, anterior-posterior, and vertical. It is often through facial orthopedics that the orthodontist is able to achieve a treatment result with jaws in proportion to each other and to the rest of the face. With these problems, early intervention may provide advantages that are not available later.
Snoring is partially obstructed breathing. Sleep apnea is totally obstructed breathing (breathing stops completely) for 10 seconds or longer. It is a common and often serious condition that frequently goes unrecognized. You are not able to breathe. Within a few seconds you may start to gasp, snort, struggle, or quickly change your sleeping position until the blockage is relieved.

From the initial call with Michael, to DC the assistant, to Dr Griffiths, everyone was exceptional. I felt my needs and concerns were heard and considered during my first visit. I'm only in AZ part time but I know who to call with my dental needs. Thank you to the staff and Dr Griffiths!

Dr. Rebecca Griffiths is brilliant and truly cares about her patient's well being. She addresses whole body health and jaw alignment, not just cosmetics. She doesn't take short cuts, and spends time educating her patients regarding their treatment plan. She is a rare find!
