Don Doak is a Freeport native and graduated from Freeport High School in the 1980s. Growing up, he always enjoyed working with his hands in ways such as planting, doing magic tricks, drawing and playing the piano. He also had a natural curiosity with life and nature. Dentistry allows him to continue working with his hands in the perfect blend of art and science.
I cracked a tooth, when I called the receptionist she found time for me late the next morning. That morning they called with an earlier time if I could make it. So that was a wonderful start. Dr. Boy and assistant examined and x-rayed the tooth, and we then went over all my options. Could not have asked for better care.

I was nervous because I hadn't been to a dentist for over 4 years.shame in me, I know. The hygienist was kind and made me feel comfortable, and she was very careful while taking the xRays and doing the charting. Dr. Boy was kind and polite. The front staff was cheerful and very helpful as well. Overall, I had absolutely NOTHING to be nervous about, they made it a breeze!

I am so well cared for at Dental Connections. The staff is attentive and professional. Heather and Dr Thompson have provided me with excellent support. They are greatly appreciated. Heather is kind and patient with me, explaining what is going to happen. Today, I asked her if she wanted me to leave my mask on and she respectfully said i should leave it off so she can clean my teeth. She didn't even grin but I did - duh!

I have always been very pleased with the services I receive at Dental Connections and highly recommend them. All of the staff--dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and front desk people--are highly knowledgeable, professional, courteous and caring. I visit at least twice a year and have seen several of the hygienists, along with Dr. Thompson. They always read my records, follow up on past issues, explain procedures and costs, and answer my questions thoroughly. They also go out of their way to make sure their patients are comfortable.

My husband and I were just so pleased with our first visit to Dental Connections. Making the appointments and having our records transferred was managed well by Rose at the front desk. Then, both of us received absolutely excellent and thorough cleanings from Mary and Heather. To top off the experience, we feel totally secure in the competent hands of Dr Don Doak for our dental work.
