DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I came in last August to get ahead of a cavity that hadn't started bothering me yet. Not only did Dr. Agarwal insist it needed a root canal, but she also said I needed a $700+ deep cleaning and two other fillings, all totalling to over $2000 out of pocket! I went to a different dentist for a second opinion less than a week later, and NONE of the work I was recommended was needed.
They did a routine cleaning covered by my insurance. They took care of my cavity with a standard filling. They did not agree that my other teeth needed any work done. They did a new periodontal exam and couldn't believe how my gum health could possibly improve so quickly based on Dr. Agarwal's exam (which by the way was the most painful gum exam I've ever had).
It's been 9 months and I'm still just absolutely floored at how terrible of an experience this was. If you get thousands of dollars of dental work recommended to you by this dentist, PLEASE do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. Or better yet, save yourself the trouble and don't go here in the first place!

By far you will spend the majority of your time with the hygienists here, and the hygienists are the leading decision-makers. I wanted to hear what the dentist thought. I also had to get second opinions. After hearing a second opinion from a long-trusted dentist the dentist at Definition Dental walked back on two of her recommendations. In explaining the second opinion, the hygienist also put down our previous (and excellent dentists) from where we had moved from.
Very young of them. (We absolutely had excellent care from those dentists for ten years.) We were new patients here. This office tried to bully us into services that we didn't need on four occasions. We are absolutely educated and healthy --and now stunned that this place has so many good reviews

Terrible Dentist. Do not choose here only the review, they don, t care for patient nothing. My husband a little over 1 year ago totally almost a $9,000.00 paid but now he have to go another correct dentist for fix thire terrible work. And now new bill received from Definition Dental that a month ago fix thier terrible work just scrape off his bridge because his gums are broken.
He did not want go them but he need to know what's they did it so he went them that was a big mistake. Really, Really be careful, do not choose them only looks nice review, you have to look not nice review too.

I had a very good experience at this office. I have been changing dentists from last couple of years looking for dentist who is compassionate and knowledgeable and looks like my search it complete now. Doctor was polite and friendly and explained the treatment plan in detail. Office is very clean and staff is very helpful and makes you feel comfortable during treatment.

The place is newly renovated and neat. The doctor is fine. But the staff are pushy and not communicative. They pushed me to do a deep cleaning, not covered by my insurance. For the next dental cleaning, I was trying to do a regular cleaning fully covered by my insurance, but they charged me additional since it was not a regular cleaning. No one ever communicated with me that the following two dental cleanings were not considered regular, but follow-ups from the deep cleaning, which were not fully covered by insurance.
The procedure wasn't any different than the regular one. That's why I didn't notice until checking out. The staff promised to waive the additional fee for me, but I still received a bill one or two months later. In addition, the staff tried hard to persuade me to do braces which I didn't feel comfortable with. I had braces ten years ago and I consulted another doctor at a different clinic before, who told me my teeth look nice and there is no need to do it again. She suggested me to wear retainer instead. The staff here was quite the opposite. I regret coming here.

The staff is great! Wonderful young ladies, they all make you feel so comfortable. I'm looking forward to my next appointment and getting my dental work done. I'm not a person that likes going to the dentist but as I said these ladies make you feel so at ease that you want to go back. I've already told family members that they should go here for all their dental needs.

I had an amazing experience at the office. Very clean, modern office with top of the line gadgets to diagnose and treat in a comfortable setting. Staff is very friendly and the doctor took the time to explain my treatment options and various procedures in detail. I got dental implants and absolutely love my new smile.

I have to admit, the location and the exterior I would not give it a second look if I wasn't looking. So I found this place while I was searching for affordable tooth implant. I don't understand why tooth implant is not covered by dental insurance. (Your face could "sink" in if you have an empty spot where other surrounding teeth could bend towards that empty hole!) The pop-up ad from this place suggested I could get my implant done for $2500. That's a good price knowing how expensive the surgery can be.
So I called and had my free initiation. Found out I was too early since I just had my rotten tooth pulled 2 months ago. Had to wait for another 2 months. In June, I went in and had another free exam and deemed healthy/normal for tooth implant. The price they quoted me was higher because they didn't know if I needed any extra work then. 2 weeks later, went in for my actual "grinding " work-installed the metal screw to my jaw.
After the procedure, they found out that I didn't need any extra work. So my price was kept around $2600. So that's good. Honest because I would not know if I needed all those extra work anyway. The lady (Dr. Sanjay?) who did my dental work was very good. Not much pain and her assistant was pretty caring. Amanda! The front desk lady was very helpful! If you have questions she will go extra miles to get you the answer! So give this place a call before you go anywhere.

This was my most pleasant experience among all the doctors office visits. The staff was courteous in greeting, checking me in on time, and Dr. Agarwal was very professional and knowledgeable. I didn't feel any pressure to have any procedures done unlike other Dentist's office. My appointment was scheduled promptly and I was able to see the doctor within a week. I was visiting portland and had a toothache and definition dental was able to get me in the same day. Everyone was very warm, friendly and highly experienced. the doctor diagnosed the issue quickly and got the root canal done. i had instant relief from my ache. They billed my insurance and called me back a day later to check on how i am doing. Highly recommend them if you need a emergency dentist in beaverton.

I loved my experience at Definition Dental. They're located near my home, they're easy to find and they have ample parking in the back of their building. Their office is very clean and professional looking and feels pleasant and welcoming, too. Everyone is so professional and they really make you feel welcomed and at home. Amanda the front office staff was so pleasant and patient, and, she was wonderful at explaining my dental benefits and even got me set up for future appointments to maximize my benefits.
My dental hygienist, Kirsten made me feel at ease and made my cleaning a very positive experience, while answering all of my questions. Lastly, my experience with the doctor, was the icing on the cake. She was professional, pleasant and very thorough with my exam; and, she explained clearly to me the things I need to address with dental health.

I went there for a cleaning, which was great. The hygienist was very polite, explained things very well and did a great job. I did have some cavities and came back for three additional appointments to get my cavities filled. The dentist, Dr. Agarwal, was very professional and i can honestly say of all the dentists I've visited over the years, she did the best job of filling the cavities.
When it was over, i couldn't even tell that anything was done, my bite was exactly as it was before. Also, she was very conservative and wanted to try everything she could before performing a root canal and crown, which I appreciated very much. Cannot recommend her and her staff enough!

I just had my first ever appointment at definition dental and Overall this place is great. Everyone who worked there was very kind and personable. The receptionist actually shook my hand and offered me water, while the dental assistant was very gentle and friendly, which is great because I don't love getting my teeth picked at. At the end I had some questions about cosmetic dentistry and the dentist and her assistant were both very informative and honest. Definitely glad I switched dentists. I can't wait to see what we can do to my pearly whites =

They have the BEST hygienist at Definition Dental. She is gentle yet gets your teeth smooth and clean and never pokes your gums which I really appreciate. Everyone there is very professional, caring and friendly and they are very accommodating with your schedule and changes. They are also very good about having a timely schedule. I have been a patient there for over 20 years and my family members are patients as well. I also like that they push out calendar reminders for your appointments as well as text reminders, very helpful for our busy lives!
