Do dental implants hurt? I've been asking the same question, even to other dental procedures. Fortunately, the dental implant procedure is not as painful as we think it is. Generally speaking, any dental procedure is pain-free because the dentist applies anesthesia to their patients. It could be general or local anesthesia, depending on the patient's needs.

Dental implant surgery involves various procedures. However, you will not feel any pain during any of them. Maxillofacial surgery is often required to treat head and neck cancers, facial disproportion, salivary gland diseases, facial pain, impacted teeth, temporomandibular joint disorders, cysts in the jaw, and everything that affects the oral mucosa.

Awesome doctor! Horrible staff. Specifically asked the staff to send out for an EOB to my insurance. They refused to send it out. Later received a bill for $200 more than what I paid for. Called two weeks ago and spoke to a lady concerning this and she said she would get back to me and never did. Then I called today & the manager Nicollet defended her staff who made the error and in addition tried to blame the situation on me.

I'm not refusing to pay the bill. I'm just questioning why, something I requested and had plenty of time to find the information about wasn't done prior to the surgery. If you need to get an oral surgery done, go somewhere else!

David took out my wisdom teeth and also helped me through the recovery process when I got dry sockets. He was very accommodating and I'd highly recommend him. He saw me on very short notice when I was in immense pain.

My first time visiting Dr. Sykes office was extremely positive. Office staff very professional in answering all questipns. Dr. assistants were fantastic in making a very nervous patient feel at ease and Dr Sykes was both professional and comforting during entire extractipn procedure. Can't say enough about this practice. Thanks to entire staff. Brian Ardell

Very unfortunate experience. Doctor is semi retired so trying to get an appointment or getting hold of them will be a horrendous experience. Also they will make mistakes which will cost you money, and time. They are definitely unprofessional and I do not recommend them. I wish my dentist didnt write referrals for them which I will do when I get to the office. Again doctor might have been good before his retirement but now the business is unpredictable and unprofessional.

What a guy! Dr. Sykes is a genuine man with a great deal of knowledge when it comes to dentistry. I've been to his office once before for a tooth extraction and after experiencing pain from my wisdom teeth (impacted) I made the silly mistake of seeing another oral surgeon opposed to waiting for Dr. Sykes next available appointment.felt like it was an eternity away because I was feeling the worst headaches of my life!

I don't wish that pain on my worst enemies! I couldn't wait that long and when I paid for a consultation with a new oral surgeon I was blown away that getting your wisdom teeth pulled can be so expensive and even more of a hit on a bank acct with no health or dental insurance! To sum it up I couldn't afford to see this new surgeon and roughed it out til I could get to see dr. Sykes.

I have never written a google review for anyone but the least I can do for this man! I was treated with such compassion and feel like Dr. Sykes is a down to earth guy with virtue. I didn't know that there was still people out there with a heart and was pleasantly surprised when he didn't treat me like a blank check.money obviously isn't what makes this man tick I sure as hell didn't get that impression.

I can't express my gratitude for his kindness but I can write a awesome review for an awesome guy!.I've had numerous dental procedures and everytime I enter a dentists office no matter who it is or what work I am having done my fears are real and I have a bad phobia of getting dental work done but strangely that's not the case when it comes to Dr. Sykes His staff and everyone in his office is sincere and caring I would be remiss to mention how comfortable I am there! If anyone is looking for a great dentist with a generous heart I would highly recommend dr. Sykes and his elite staff thanks again doc, Josh Goldsmith

Dr. Sykes did a fabulous job with my son Matt's impacted wisdom teeth extractions. He even called personally later that evening to make sure everything was ok. Administration and clinical staff were all great as well. Highly recommend.

Really friendly and professional staff who work with you in every way possible to accommodate your financial and time/work constraints. Dr. Sykes himself is a pleasure to work with and really impressed me when he called me personally later in the night after an extraction to make sure I was doing okay. Definitely cares a lot about his patients to go above and beyond like that.

Dr. Sykes and his team took incredible care of my daughter when she had to have her wisdom teeth surgically removed. She is a very fearful dental patient, and they made her feel comfortable and relaxed. I cannot say enough about Dr. Sykes - he is such a kind man and was very patient with my daughter.
