I have always dreaded the dentist! When my current dentist retired, selling his practice to a chain dental service, each time I visited I saw a new dentist and felt pressured to replace a filling with a crown or replace existing bridge work. And then, my bridge broke loose! My lifelong fear of the dentist office, the thought of bone grafting and implants, and unfamiliar dentists led me to search for a new dentist.
I am thankful to have found Dentistry 2000 and Dr. David Cotty. Dr. Cotty and his entire staff are absolutely amazing! His calm, reassuring voice and the family atmosphere in the office are so welcoming. Everyone I've encountered at the office has taken time to explain procedures and make certain I am comfortable before beginning any treatment. A visit to the dentist has NEVER been on my list of favorite activities. However, I have always gone, viewing my appointment as a necessary evil. Several years ago my dentist retired and sold his practice to a national dental chain. With that came a new dentist at each visit and a constant push to update fillings and replace bridges. I felt I was a number to them and just wasn't happy.
After searching the internet and making several calls, I made arrangements for a consultation with Dentistry 2000. I will be forever thankful for that day. The moment I entered the office, I felt comfortable! After meeting Mary, Rosa, Susan, and Dr. Cotty, I knew I had made the right choice. Dr. Cotty assessed my dental status, created a plan that was both conservative and beneficial for me, and took his time to address my concerns and calm my fears.

Very unethical man. He treats people very poorly and is only interested in how much profit he makes. I feel terrible for the employees who have to work for this man, I can only imagine how he nickels and fumes then, too. Dr. Cotty. you owe an apology to those you have recently taken advantage of. Was it really worth it?.

I came as a new customer with some ideas of how I wanted to deal with some issues. My idea was never addressed or mentioned. I would sometimes be left in the chair for hom to go work on another patient without a word being said Also, the asst. was very rough with her instruments even after I mentioned she was hurting me. You arent the moat important thing on their minds. The lady at the front counter was the only professional.
