Services
Clarkston Family Dental offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain good oral health. To meet your more extensive treatment needs, we also have an Oral Surgeon and Periodontal Specialist on staff. Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.
It includes descriptions of our office location, including a map and directions, hours, appointment scheduling, insurance acceptance and billing policies. Unlike other offices, dental offices cannot book multiple patients at the same time. Your scheduled appointment has been reserved especially for you.
Clarkston Family Dental is excited to introduce that we have joined Dr. Yuksel Erpardo in integrating a Center for Implant Dentistry into our practice. The benefit of having this center within our practice is that our patients no longer have to be referred to specialists outside the office for their specialty treatments, the specialists will now come to us!

I have been a patient at Clarkston family dental for the past decade. During this time I have had my children seen at this office as well. I generally have had normal experiences here with Dr. Foster over the years. My last dental cleaning was very strange. Dr. Foster was explaining to me why he recommends my youngest son go to a pediatric dentist.
He treated me in a very condescending manner. He proceeded to explain to me "That parenting is hard work", and he always calls me hun as well in the office, which is in my perspective unprofessional and another example of the condescending behavior. He asked me if I was a first time mother as well at this appointment; which I responded to him that I have two older teen sons who come to this office for years as well.
He obviously does not recall me and my family. He did not need to treat me in this manner he could have simply advised and referred and left it at that. He actually pretended that I was a difficult child to fill a cavity on and put his hands in my mouth and was using a little force to show me the difficulty he and a child could possibly experience in a filling.
I felt bad for the hygienist who had to stand there and see this as well. Really, I am not going to a dentist to hear their personal opinions. I go for their professional treatment. Sad to say I will not be utilizing their services in the future.

Excellent experience with the front desk and the technician (I believe her name was EricaP. The technician made me very comfortable, didn't ask too many complicated questions while her hands were in my mouth (so awkward when that happens). She just made very good conversation, checked if I was comfortable throughout, didn't rush things, was confident in her work, and thorough.

They are now making you sign a paper saying you will go to you dental appointments and any para dental treatment you need in order to guarantee any crowns they put on your teeth which is ridiculous they should last five years. They treat you like a little kid when they make you sign a paper for it. Not happy about new papers work! But the staff gets 5 stars.

I would just like to say. For YEARS I absolutely hated the dentist but Dr. Kamen has completely changed my outlook and makes sure I'm comfortable. I have severe anxiety about doctors and dentist but absolutely not here. I 10/10 recommend going and seeing him! He is not judge mental at all no matter what your teeth are like and will only try to help you in the best possible way.

Friendly staff greeted me as I entered. I arrived a bit early so I only had a few minute wait when the hygienist came out to retrieve me. She was friendly, and efficient with my cleaning. The Dr. came in to examine me and also greeted me with a cordial demeanor. All in all a pleasant experience for a dental visit.

I left this place in tears because I was treated SO nice! I have never had a single dentist say anything nice about my teeth because of how many fillings I've had from my childhood, and have had very traumatic dentist appointments from it. Anyways. I really liked how Lori talked me through every single step and I was able to see what she saw. Dr. Foster was sooo nice and it was awesome to sit down at check out and see what the plan and costs would be. Thank you all so much!
