Dr. Jungman is a San Diego County native and a graduate of San Diego State University. He attended dental school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After graduation, he searched San Diego County for an ideal dental practice location, and decided that Escondido was the best place to establish a family dental practice, with his wife and dental partner, Dr. Julie Kangas.

Everyone's worst nightmare, to be on vacation, thousands of miles from home and I develop a very infected tooth that needed to be removed ASAP. The office was able to get me in within hours to extract tooth. The dentist was so gentle and kind and the office staff was extremely welcoming. I would highly recommend the dentist group! To be treated so well knowing that it was a one-time appointment until I return home was greatly appreciated. Patty Lucas

I wish I could give them even more stars. Citracado is the best dental office there is. They prioritize health by taking your blood pressure every visit and have charts that explain your mouth is the key to your health. They are even open until 7pm on Wednesdays and are open on Saturdays as well which is so rare to find! Their pricing is very fair/inexpensive, with my insurance I was able to get both wisdom teeth out for 300$.
Not to mention they are all great at they're jobs. I got both wisdom teeth out, painlessly, in 10 minutes. I had minimal/no swelling. I have attached a photo 24 hours post surgery no chimp munk cheeks or excessive bleeding. You won't find a dental office that cares more about their patients.

I have been looking for a dentist that I can trust for a while. I struggle with my teeth often. I called Citricado dental group and I had THE best experience ever. The staff made me feel so comfortable. I'm so glad my search for a dentist office is over. I found my spot! Would definitely recommend to anyone struggling to find a great dentist.

Wow! What a wonderful experience. I contacted the Citracado Dental Group this morning at 8 am due to needing a dentist immediately for severe pain. I saw online the internet they were open on Saturday from 8-12 and I knew there was no way, I would be able to wait till Monday to find a dentist. So I called and spoke with Maribel Munoz, explained my problem and she told me to come right in.
Upon entering the office, I had the pleaseure of meeting Maribel and what a delightful, personable young lady. The dental group is very lucky to have her for she is so kind and shows such empathy. Then I met Robin, another wonderful, delightful person and she took me to a back room for x-rays. Afterwards, she took me to the dentist chair. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Anna Gout, DDS.
She was very personable, made me feel very comfortable and does a fantastic job of helping you feel relaxed in her care. My anxiety gets really high going to a dentist for I always feel like I am going to drown, can't breath and my tongue always gets in the dentist way. But I must say, I loved the equipment they used in my mouth no anxiety or drowning feeling at all. Anna Gout, DDS did an amazing, phenomenal job. I highly recommend her.and this wonderful staff. Thank you so much and Blessings to you all!

I had a great experience at Citracado Dental Group! From the staff checking me in to the Dental assistant taking the x-rays and Dr. Robert fixing my tooth, I couldn't have asked for a better visit. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Robert took the time to explain how my tooth would get fixed before he started and I was out of the office in under an hour. Definitely recommend Citracado Dental Group!

Citracado has been an amazing experience. Like all healthcare procedures there are ups and downs so it's really important that both sides are engaged, open and communicative and they are just that. They are warm and friendly and really give off a family vibe which is nice. They also are super flexible which is so important with repairing dental needs.
I've had two emergencies from an old implant and both times they made time for me right away. I'm so indebted for their engagement, flexibility, care and warm atmosphere. I am having a little issue with sensitivity from a crown but they've shown me that they are committed to giving me the best dental experience I can have. The dentist is my kryptonite so I'm so happy they all work to make me feel like Superman!

I'm terrified of the Dentist, childhood trauma. Every experience I have had at Citracado has been excellent. My appointment on 10/25/2021 was absolutely wonderful. Kim, my hygienist was great and Lauren and the Doctor were fantastic. Especially Lauren, she really went above and beyond to alleviate my fears of the procedure they were about to do. She was so warm and kind (and funny) I can say I even had a good time at the dentist! Thank you all for always being wonderful!
