Children's Dentistry Of Charlottesville

My daughter has health issues, one day she could be completely fine the next she's down and missing school. Point is since she has apparently missed 2 appointments, she's denied medical care at this dentist! She currently has an abscess on her tooth and they will not take her!

Most of my 4 year old niece's teeth needed to be removed or fixed. This is all due to her previous home situation. Her teeth have been hurting for months now and we were referred here due to the fact that they needed to sedate her to work on them. Her appoinent had to be rescheduled twice due to the office. They called to reschedule- one was from the snow and I can't remember the second reason.

But they called us to cancel-we never cancelled. The third appointment she had- my mother (who was going to be driving her up there) was in the hospital and couldn't take her so her other legal guardian was going to take her. Their car broke down on the way up there and they had to cancel the appointment. After talking to the receptionist-she wouldn't let them even schedule an appointment without faxing over custody paperwork so we did that. Finally-we called to make sure they got the paperwork and the receptionist was extremely rude and said that the dentist didn't want to see her and they wouldn't be making an appointment.

The reasoning is because they had to reschedule twice and they don't do it a third time. She didn't care that we didn't reschedule the first two times-it was their office. We only canceled one time or if something that was our if our control. Also. Why make us go out of our way to fax paperwork over if you weren't going to make an appointment? My Neice has been through alot and we are trying to get her life back on track. It's such a shame that the receptionist was so hateful to us about the whole situation.

We always have a great experience at childrens dentistry! My daughter is nervous coming to the dentist, but Arianna always makes it such a great experience for her and talks her through everything!

My 2 daughters came in today to get their teeth cleaned! The dental assistant Lydia was wonderful! She made my girls feel comfortable & talked them through everything : they can't wait to come back and see her again! Thank you so much Lydia for making their experience so enjoyable.

I've been taking my daughter here since she was little! All of the staff here are great with kids. Today she had to get her first cavity filled and was super anxious but Ayanna made her feel at ease and she did great!

I took my son to Children's Dentistry of Charlottesville and we had an amazing experience. Our dental hygienist Lexi was so amazing with my boy! We were VERY happy with our experience.

Everyone in this office have been so nice and helpful. Cameron was very good with my 3yo and 9yo! She kept my 3yo entertained while she had my 9yo in the chair. Usually I have to sit in the chair with my 3yo, but she made him feel so comfortable that he climbed right in the chair all by himself. My daughter loved her and requested her every time she comes to the dentist. Dr. Dinh was also very nice and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this office! Cameron you ROCK!

My son sees Dr. Moore and absolutely loves her! He is two years old and she is so patient with him. 3 visits in and no tears whatsoever. It's such a relief to know he is in great hands. We will never go anywhere else! Thank you Dr. Moore and assistant Courtney!

Stop pushing your families out the door cause they miss an appointment. My Kids seen them for years and out of all those years they missed two app. kicked right out on your face and they tell you don't come back, I'm not joking! They literally told me my kids are not welcomed anymore, like they are criminals. Sad so so sad! Joe the orthodontics is the BEST! You all should go see him if you need one!

I can't say enough about how great they are with my son. He was so nervous but that went away quickly when Dr. Dihn explained everything she was going to do and made sure he didn't have any questions. The assistant Arianna put on a movie and talked to him to keep him distracted and calm. He walked out smiling and happy and I couldn't ask for a better experience at the dentist. Thank you guys for taking such good care of him!

This office was the best place to take a child when Dr. Clifford was affiliated with them. Once he relocated his practice the ship sank. The staff is super rude very judgmental and has no patience when it comes to children with special needs. Looking for a new office to take care of my family. My child had a deep cavity in a tooth that cracked and caused daily pain.

The office did not render it an emergency. Offered a restorative visit 3 months down the road. My child wasn't able to eat regular foods. My child had trouble sleeping. After a last minute squeeze in my child was given a much earlier visit. When I notified the office the morning of the procedure that I woke to my child eating I was told that the appointment could not be rescheduled.

We missed the first appointment because mom and dad both were experiencing covid19 symptoms. Now we're on a hunt for a new dentist. We would have been wrong for showing up for the first appointment had we went. Had we lied and taken our child in after he had eaten that would have been considered negligence. NEVER EVER AGAIN! Worse place ever. If you love your children don't take them here.

I had to take my youngest there to get a cavity filled as they have sensitive teeth. As most children are, they were scared of the dentist but Dr. Urresti and his assistant Arianna kept them calm and happy. They were more then helpful when it came to making sure they were comfortable. Definitely will be returning!

My son had an appointment at 4pm & I called to tell them we'd be late getting there from louisa and was told that he had to be there by 4:15 or they would need to reschedule an appt. We arrived in the parking lot at 4:15, receptionist called, told her we were outside and she said they'd have to reschedule now because the dentist leaves at 4:30 and his cleaning would take longer than 15min. Really? 15 min.

Why tell me to be there by 4:15? What a waste of time and gas. Not to mention he has over $ 3,000.00 worth of dental work that needed to be done (see attached) and I was out of network, but willing to pay the difference out of pocket. Wow, not professional at all.

They are absolutely wonderful and I'm a mom of 5, they did them all the same day, same time and I could not be happier with our experience

Dr. Moore and Dr. Will are an amazing team! Dr Will explained the procedure of anesthesia for us and what would take place, we were in great hands! Dr Moore went above and beyond with her superior skill and knowledge today. Thank you both so much, the surgery center team was amazing! Special shout out to Katie & Kristen

My daughter has gotten 2 cavity's filled here within the last 3 months because they wouldn't just fill them all at once. She was one more left. She has very cavity prone teeth. She used to be fine at her old dentist. I have never seen her in so much pain after a simple filling! It doesn't just hurt her for a few days, it hurts her for WEEKS. This is so reason a simple filling should put her in this much pain when it never has anywhere else. 0/10, wouldn't recommend.

I've taken my kids here for years. I highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcomed. It's a relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Joe and his team are the best around in my opinion.

My granddaughter and I are always met promptly by a smiling friendly face. My grandchildren love to visit their favorite doctor and his assistant. The front office young ladies are always pleasant and very professional. I recommend this great caring group of dental professionals.
