Dr. Solomon is the man. I never have felt truly seen or heard about my TMJ issues until I went into his office. I've felt so helpless suffering from jaw pain and migraines for years and have received no useful information from my dentist or doctors- only spending hundreds of dollars on mouth guards and medications. Dr. Solomon gave me so much insight today that I wasn't aware of during my Botox appointment and I'm so excited to go back for my consult to figure out the true cause of my TMJ and start my healing process. Good vibes from the second I walked in the office door. 5 stars for the entire office and overall experience.

I felt confident in this Dentist's Office from the beginning based on phone calls and their follow up. Any time I spoke with someone on the phone, everyone I spoke to was polite and thorough. My visit exceeded my expectations. I was a little nervous since I hadn't been to the dentist in years, but felt I was in great hands and feel that they have set out a good plan for me moving forward. Very grateful. Thank you to the outstanding staff and business owners!

Extremely unprofessional. I booked a dental appointment 2 months ago. They let me know that they would be able to accept my insurance until dec 1. I told them that was fine I just needed a check up and we scheduled the appointment for November 30. I get a call 3 days before the appointment I had waited 2 months for saying they will not take me anymore because they changed their mind and did not want to give me an appointment anymore.

Extremely unprofessional and unethical especially when it is medical. Update: they ended up calling and apologizing and trying to "get me in" after this review was posted. I give them respect for owning up to the unprofessionalism.

Update: Following my review, they called my insurance and reimbursed me $200. It's rare enough to write an update. The team is really caring. Thank you!

Trust me, this is a horrible place, the only thing doctors and staff want to do is to steal more money from your pocket. They will add all the unused items to your delta plan to ensure that they can get all the money and prevent me from treating the same tooth in other clinics within five years. They did not provide any recipes and they charged me 900 dollars but only shows 70 dollars on my delta bill. fraud! My teeth fell out after four months, and the new dentist found the gums that hadn't been cleaned. They were very perfunctory. I am suing them now.

Going to the dentist has never been a more enjoyable experience than it has been this past year. Dr. Solomon is thoughtful and brilliant and really cares about his patients. I started a course of Invisalign about six months ago and after completing the first phase he wasn't fully satisfied - so we extended the plan to get things even better. So many professionals these days don't share this care and pride for their work.

The entire staff at Dr. Solomon's office is incredible. They treat you like family; with kindness, and respect. I am so grateful to have found these wonderful people and now I actually look forward to going to the dentist. wow!

This dude tried to scam me out of like 7k for his odd TMJ treatment. I think he's realized people with TMJ are desperate and have not many options. Turns out my TMJ was caused by a bacterial infection and treatment (antibiotics) helped. Also sleeping with the WiFi off helps not clench teeth at night. No longer have TMJ issues.

TL;DR if you are facing a complex or severe TMJ case you need to book a consult with Dr. Sid Solomon. He may just be able to save your life! A little background on myself: I am a 26 Y/O Male with a severe and tumultuous history with TMJ. I've had orthognathic surgery and multiple rounds of orthodontics that have left me crippled with pain. As such, I have done an enormous amount of research into the Neuromuscular, and more importantly, the Gneuromuscular space (gnathological neurological space). Dr. Sid's background and understanding goes wayyyyyyy beyond just taking a TENS bite and sending you on your merry way.

I have been to EVERY TMJ specialist in the Los Angeles area, and Dr. Sid is the ONLY one who practices and- simply put- understands how a K7 evaluation should be done. Dr. Solomon will be able to find your bite in a way that no other specialist in Los Angeles can. Trust me, I spent $11,000 dollars at the other main "neuromuscular dentist" in Los Angeles, and I deeply deeply deeply regret doing that.

But I think more importantly than the above, Dr. Solomon and Fay have the WARMEST hearts ever. They truly care about their patients' health, and it shows in both of their bed-side manners/attentiveness when you are consulting with them. If you are in a dark place or are in severe pain, I would highly recommend coming to Dr. Solomon FIRST. Don't waste your time at any of the other "TMJ specialists." It is a pervasively misunderstood malady, and it is incredibly easy to make your symptoms worse. Don't risk it. Trust Dr. Solomon, and he will help you.

I have had severe TMJ for ~6 years now, and no one has been able to help my condition like Dr. Solomon & his team. I have seen pretty much every type of Doctor - other TMJ specialists, physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, etc. Based on my experience, no one has the technology, expertise, or genuine care that Dr. Solomon & his team have. I am currently undergoing the treatment process & am optimistic for the future.

Dr. Solomon did an amazing job with me and helped in really healing my TMJ. I was in such bad shape I was needing to get Botox for a few months straight and then gave into the fact that I had to do the mold and get the mouth guard. He was so kind and worked so well with me and I'm am so beyond grateful words can not describe. Here they see your pain and work with you as a human being. Because here you're never seen as a number.

I had a pain in my jaw for 5 years where I couldn't open it wide or it would just lock it and I couldn't eat and I didn't know what it was. Until I found Dr. Sid Solomon and he diagnosed me with TMJ disorder. The first phase of the treatment is to find a right position for my jaw with electrodes attached to a head gear and it's gonna read my jaw movements. And now 4 weeks after I can already feel the improvement and definitely living without pain is so much nicer.

So far, I finally feel hopeful. I went to see Dr. Solomon because I have tmd. It recently got severe. It's sore all the time and feels tight. I can't open my mouth past a certain point because it will lock. So terrifying! I have already learned so much from my initial consultation. Dr. Solomon sat with me and broke down my disorder. He also confirmed that my migraines are caused by my tmd.

He has asserted with great confidence that he is going to fix my problem. For the first time I have met a doctor who doesn't look all confused and clueless. He isn't throwing "band-aid" solutions at me either. He believes in finding the source of the problem and fixing it. I think I am finally in good hands. I will definitely report back in a few months. Fingers crossed! (this time with real hope)

This pertains to a visit in November 2020. I scheduled a regular checkup and cleaning. During the cleaning, my permanent retainer was dislodged. Not only was I charged a fee to quickly correct this, the first attempt held for less than a day. I returned to their offices for the third day in a row to have this addressed. This work by Sid was rushed and seemed to lack particular care or attention to detail as evidenced by the messy application of 'cement'. Staff were all lovely, but would not recommend these offices generally.

My crown fell off. Dr. Solomon saw me right away! Quick, safe & painless appointment. friendly staff and team took care of me with TLC.

Dr. Sid is an excellent and incredibly gentle dentist. He listens to his patients and does not recommend unnecessary dental procedures that many other dental providers talk their patients into. I have a great deal of respect for Dr. Sid and his staff. They are also very considerate about scheduling appointments and helped me schedule it as per my convenience.

The dental office is also very beautiful and creates a relaxing ambience prior to any procedure being performed. I find this to be a must have for those who do not like going to the dentist!

I went to see Dr. Solomon because I grind my teeth and since I started using their services I've been feeling so much better. Dr. Solomon explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood the root issue of my teeth grinding and how to resolve it. My headache and jaw pain is completely gone. The office is very welcoming and accommodating. The prices are reasonable too in comparison with other places. Most importantly they offer excellent costumer service and are very good at what they do. I highly recommend this place, I'm very happy with my results.

I have been going to see Dr Solomon since I first moved to Los Angeles about 20 years ago. As the years progressed, I've moved from LA, OC and SD and I have continued to see Dr Solomon as my dentist. His staff is professional, kind and caring. The dentist office is clean and bright. There's convenient parking in the back as well as plenty of street parking. And if you get to your appointment early, Dr Solomon even has a meditation room where you can unwind before your appointment.

2stars 2 stars it keeps auto changing to 5. This place sucks. find a more honest practice I heard they exist still Dental offices have become worse than used car sales. I got a deep cleaning almost a week ago and I am still in pain. she numbed only on my outer gums. I was in pain during the whole procedure and still tender. I have had deep cleanings before and never this bad.

She us ruthless and horrific. I felt her stabbing my gums on the inside over and over again. I almost cried a couple of times. then I was told to get another in 4 months. UMM NOPE.deep cleaning I get but why more often? The " sales people " are terrible. I stayed silent while she rambled on and showed me proof of what my deductible might be. I never denied it but her over- reaction was a HUGE REDFLAG. as a salesperson I know it's a sign of insecurity and confidence in the practice and the charges.

I thought the doctor was good he said he would recommend another doctor to me and absolute no follow up so sincerity comes to question. I will not be returning. I am still looking for a dentist that has not sunk to used car salespeople tactics.

Dr. Solomon is the ONLY TMJ doctor that was actually able to help me. I mean it, he is the only one. He listened to my concerns with a genuine interest in my case. He treated me without medication and I am now living life again. I saw many other doctors and tried everything but none of them could figure out my case until I met Dr. Sid. His TMJ treatment is smart and simple and accurate and effective.

His staff was kind and helpful. They explain everything to you and always make you feel like ''it's ok to have questions. Sadie explained all the fees in detail and I was never pressured. Vilma helped me during treatment and Fay Is clear about insurances and all that. My TMJ pain is gone and I am a much nicer person because of that. I am blessed to have met Dr. Sid and can't thank him enough. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great TMJ dentist in Los Angeles.

Sade oh not so sweet Sade is the front line person who turned me off from wanting to receive services from Dr. Solomon. She was very brusque, which was the first flag. Then she said i need to have the insurance fax over the current plan number. I had that, not the ID # and gave it to her. But because she never heard of the number she insisted I do her work and have the insurance company fax it. I'm a new patient to whom she was rude when she spoke, plus her unnecessary demands weren't called for. I come along with a package of people who have been looking for a dentist also. Customer service is very important but under valued by businesses. Sad.

I've been going to this fantastic dental office since 2008 & I highly recommend it. Dr. Sid Solomon is the best at what he does & is very professional, caring, kind & gentle. He takes time to address all my dental questions & concerns. All the procedures I've had done here are of the highest quality. Dr. Sid's staff is equally terrific! Fay, the office manager & Dr. Sid's wife Vilma, Sadie & Joana are very friendly, warm, patient & so helpful.

They always have welcoming smiles & make me feel like I'm part of the "family" there. I've never felt this way about a dental office before. The office is very clean & the beautiful decor makes you feel like you're in a lovely home. There is ample parking in the area, with a few spots in the back of the office. You'll be well taken care of by Dr. Sid & his wonderful staff! That's why I've been coming here for 11 years.

I had a great experience at this office. They provided me with a detailed treatment plan that included all the costs. The receptionists were very nice and Dr. Solomon was very thorough. I feel comfortable going back because they were honest and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

David S. 12/7/18 This is a fantastic dental office. They greet you when you enter, and give you a status report on how soon you will be seen. They do thorough and professional work on you. And I am always satisfied with the results! When you are finished, they are generous with their time planning your next visit, none of that "rush rush feeling to get you out the door"!

Plus they are gracious in fully answering any questions you might have. They also give fantastic advice on what you should be doing at home to maintain great dental health. What really puts them on top, is that I do a lot of research. I called to get their opinion on what were my best dental health options from my research. They cared enough to take the detailed data.

And then take their time over a couple days to examine it and get back to me with the results. I have followed them, and my mouth and teeth have never felt healthier or cleaner! Thank you Dr. Solomon, Faye, and staff for being the best!

Amazing team and amazing doctor - I don't know what I'd do without Dr. Solomon! The office is incredibly welcoming and kind, and their professionalism and lack of pressure on services and costs makes going in every time an awesome experience. (They also have events at the office and always give samples or advice on the latest and greatest for your teeth)! I have suffered from TMJ for several years, which it has been very debilitating and painful, to say the least. After years of looking for treatments, and trust me, I tried them all (dentists, clinics, acupuncture, physical therapy, retainers, mouth appliances, night guards, and I can keep going), I found Dr. Sid Solomon. Not only his approach is effective, he is caring and very knowledgeable.

I do not have enough nice words to say about Dr. Solomon. His treatment has been lifesaving. If you suffer from TMJ, do yourself a favor and make an appointment. His office staff is great, very accommodating and helpful with your appointments and insurance claims.

Update: Still grateful for the care I receive at Dr. Sid Solomon's Westwood practice. If you need an expert dentist and team, search no further. Original Post: Dr. Sid Solomon and his team have been my dental care providers for 5 years now. I continue coming back for two reasons: (1) their attention to customer service is unparalleled, (2) Dr. Sid is an excellent dentist.

Of course, it's pleasant being greeted at the door by name, provided with water, kept informed about the waiting time (minimal), given a choice of waiting rooms (one with a massage chair), offered help with parking. That's all very nice--and perhaps a perk of being Bel Air adjacent. More than that, though, the office culture really seems to be an acute attention to demonstrating kindness to the clients.

But what I really love about the customer service is the listening. From the paperwork to discussing the options for procedures, the staff at the office--and in particular Dr. Sid--take time to really devote eye contact, pause and listen. As for the work itself, I've had fillings and crowns and the experience has always been made less uncomfortable by the confidence and kindness Dr. Sid exudes.

Last fall, he replaced an older crown that had been originally put in by another dentist and had worn out. When the procedure was complete, I couldn't believe how great my bite felt. I hadn't realized how poorly placed the other dentist had situated the old crown. I thought my bite was changing with age, that perhaps my teeth were just spreading out -- what did I know? Having this one crown replaced by Dr. Sid has reminded me of what my bite is supposed to feel like. I fear I sound over the top--but I'm sincere. So grateful for Dr. Sid's expertise.

This review is not for services, it is for the consultation only. Possibly the orthotics really work for tmj, but the sales tactics used screamed snake oil to me. They start with an assessment of your posture. Sounds good right? I buy that bad posture can contribute to jaw pain. Well. he brought up my posture reading and showed where I have some spinal asymmetry with the way I stand.

Then he showed a picture with 'how I would look in twenty years' which basically had my spine totally twisted and messed up. And then began to argue that not only was my tmj the cause of my minor posture issues, but that if I didn't fix my tmj, a totally crippled spine would be the result. Uhm what? Total bs scare tactic. He then described in great detail how bite issues get worse and worse over time in a an extremely animayed way. Again, it felt like scare tactics to me - I've had many consultations and never had this level of 'hard sell'. Worse still, he hadn't even looked at my bite or mouth yet.

The first thing that happens at any legitimate consultation is an examination. That happened in the last ten minutes of the consult and almost no detail as to the status of my bite, what I could expect to see improved with treatment, and why some treatments would be better than others, etc. was given. The dentist didn't mention any alternate treatments to the 6k orthotic, like Botox, he went in straight for the hard sell and scare tactics on the orthotic. Pass.

Honestly the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I chipped my front tooth and was somewhat frantic to get it fixed they got me an appointment and fixed my tooth very rapidly. The customer service and patient care here was amazing from everyone in the office. I'm fairly afraid of the dentist, but Dr. Solomon was very gentle and understanding. I was even provided headphones to listen to my music while they were buzzing around in my mouth.

Dr. Solomon and his staff are nothing less than phenomenal. They honestly make you feel like family and they will bend over backwards for their patients and they're honest. They genuinely care about their patients and provide the best dental care I've ever had in my life. I had an accident that damaged my front teeth many years ago and Dr. Solomon redid my bridge and put veneers on as well. My smile is now flawless. I can't imagine that there is a better dentist in Los Angeles or honestly anywhere else in the country.
