Cedar Point Dental is located along a stretch of ponds on the west side of Springfield. These bodies of water attract a variety of wildlife year round and provide a spectacular view from each of our eight operatories. From the moment you enter Cedar Point, you realize that the office was designed as more of an extension of our home than a medical facility.
Patients have different expectations and priorities when contacting our office for the first time. This is why we do not attempt to schedule identical appointments for every new patient in our practice. Our initial patient visits are of three types based on the patient's needs. Patients who are in pain or have had a recent trauma or event that requires immediate attention.
There are a variety of options available to treat dental decay. The ideal restorative option is dependent on the size and location of the cavity. Fillings are a minimally invasive and effective treatment for small to medium-sized cavities. Composites are bonded to the teeth, making them less invasive than a traditional silver filling.
Dental implants are providing solutions to functional and esthetic problems that patients have faced for decades. One of the biggest misconceptions of dental implants is that they are artificial teeth. They are more like a titanium root which can be used in a variety of ways. The strength and stability of dental implants have allowed us to all but eliminate the poorly-fitting, floating dentures of the past.

This is a top notch operation. Dr Maggiore is very thorough and considerate. He takes the time to get the job done well and always follow through if there is any issue. He does NOT over charge you. Everyone at Cedar Point Dental does the job well. They take their time to do the regular cleaning, which is not always true elsewhere. I come back to get my tooth taken care of here even though I have moved to St Louis.

I've been a patient of Dr. Maggiore for over 10 years. He's treated multiple cavities and done two implants for me in that time. He's thorough, professional and accommodating to the point that he and his hygienist (Erin) have treated me on their day off. I have referred family members to him and he even treated an emergency situation for my sister on Thanksgiving. I couldn't be happier with the service I've received from both Dr. Maggiore and his entire staff. Keep up the great work!

I'm no longer afraid to go to the dentist! After a bad experience that kept me away from dentists for years, I've found a great place. Dr. Maggiore and his staff are wonderful-- they address my fears, always answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. I especially appreciate that they offer hours into the evening so I never have to miss work. I recommend Cedar Point with no hesitation!

Dr. Stevens is amazing. I've been going to Cedar Point Dental for cleanings for years, but recently learned I'd have to get my first cavity filled. I was having quite a bit of anxiety over getting it done (specifically the novocaine shot), but with Dr. Stevens I didn't even realize I'd gotten the shot until he asked if my mouth felt numb. Took less than half an hour start to finish. A pain-free and pleasant experience.

Dr. Maggiore and staff make coming to the dentist easy, and as someone who used to hate it, that's saying a lot! He's been helping me with my jaw issues through equilibrations and I've noticed a huge difference. No more stuck jaw in the morning or horrible pops when I chew. Very grateful to have these awesome people taking care of my teeth, and my families. We all go to Cedar Point and couldn't recommend it enough!

My kids had a great dental checkup today! Dr Maggiore is fantastic with children. He and Dr. Stevens are also the best dentists I've ever had. I had TMJ pain and it has gotten so much better after Dr. Stevens made me a night guard! I get better rest all through the night when I wear it and my morning headaches are gone.
