Carlson Orthodontics

My daughter was a bit nervous for her consultation. She was greeted by an amazing welcoming staff. They explained everything they were going to do and instantly eased her nerves. She is so excited to start this process with Carlson Orthodontics in the future. Dr. Carlson and Amy took the time to meet with us and answer all our questions. I was impressed that their treatment plan at this time is to wait and watch. They did not want to rush her into orthodontics. Over all I give our appointment rating a 10/10!

Carlson's is the place to go to get orthodontic treatment. They are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of being their patient for the past few years and had such a positive experience. They helped me gain confidence and love my new smile. The whole team is top notch.

Dr. Carlson was great. During my initial consult with him, he listened to me and what I wanted and what I did not want. I was also consulting with other orthodontists in the area, but I felt initially that I had chosen one who would meet my needs and provide me the best service. My Invisalign application also went really well, but that was the last time I saw him unfortunately.

I was unaware that I was then given to a lady provider, who while nice enough, was awkward and had poor bedside manor. I was confused as to who she was and why I was no longer being seen by Dr. Carlson. She was not informed of the specific details and my requests as discussed in my initial consult with Dr. Carlson, and I felt there were changes to my care that I did not want as discussed in my consult. Had I known that I would not be seeing Dr. Carlson for the rest of my orthodontic treatment, I would have chosen a different orthodontist in the community.

I chose him and his service. If there was a reason for me to have been handed off to another provider, I should have been consulted with or at least given a heads up. Over all I would rate the orthodontic treatment using Invisalign highly as I am satisfied with my results, but I cannot rate this clinic 5 stars because I have had better communication and felt more comfortable with other providers in the community. For $7,000 I would like to get what and who I agreed to pay for.

Both my boys had braces placed today, both went very smooth. Both kids were nervous and the staff was very kind and comforting. Couldn't have gone better.

Carlson's always exceeds our expectations! They are flexible with scheduling and having multiple locations makes it convenient. They are the friendliest bunch in town!

Great staff, very friendly. They get you in fast for short apts. they have a great reward incentive program for the patients. Delicious cookies are a added bonus. Multiple locations you can go to.

The people here are very nice and friendly, I've had braces for a year now and they've supported and help me through the journey. Definitely recommend this place 10/10

My biggest complaint about this place is that they have somewhat of a monopoly going on in the Northland and they know it. They treat kids like they are numbers in the system and do not take the time to sit down with parents and thoroughly explain the treatment plan. Personally, we decided to go with clear aligners and NOT through Carlson. They are getting big, and with that comes a less personalized treatment. For the cost of treatment and the length of time you have to work with the staff, I'd like my child to feel a little more taken care of than just a number in the computer.

I was apprehensive to having braces as an almost 30 year old. However, the time flew by and the results are absolutely worth it! I have my confidence back and I love the final result.

We are just starting treatment for our 3rd kid through Carlson Orthodontics and are 100% confident we will have another great experience. Not only is everyone in the office knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly, but they actively engage the kids in their own treatment. While needing to wear braces isn't fun, their experience with Dr. Carlson and his team is!

I am writing this review on behalf of my son Zander..The staff has been exceptional with him. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They have done great at making us feel prepared for the braces and hardware.

This is a great, family oriented place for orthodontic care. Everyone is so willing to help and answer all questions. All the staff are polite and very professional. We are very impressed with their work!

I was apprehensive about getting orthodontic treatment because of my age, but I HATED the huge gaps of space between my front teeth. Carlson Orthodontics came highly recommended and Invisalign was recommended to help me find my smile again. I am VERY happy with the results so far and the whole Carlson team is just awesome. So friendly and professional! Thank you Dr. Carlson and Dr. Joe. Age doesn’t matter when you want to smile!

After 2.5 years I finally got my braces off. I do not regret my choice in working with Carlson Orthodontics. Every time I walk in the door I’m always greeted and the people that work here have ALWAYS been kind even when I had a ton of questions regarding my treatment. My daughter gets her Invisalign next month and I can’t wait for her to start.

They stay up to date with technology and offer some of the best options available when it comes to orthodontic treatment and care. When I began my treatment I was blown away by the gift bag they sent me home with. When I “graduated” I had to laugh a little because I didn’t think as an adult I’d be doing the graduation ceremony but it was actually pretty neat.

I assumed the medals were plastic but they’re actually pretty heavy so I thought I had to give it back after the photo. They said ‘nope it’s yours!’ and my mind automatically went to the fact that Carlson’s Orthodontics really spares no effort/expense in even the little details. Sounds trivial to care about something so minuscule but if they can nail the minor details just imagine what they can do with your smile!

I love Carlson Orthodontics! I have had my braces on for just over a year, but I starting attending Carlson a few years ago. The staff are all very friendly and I love how we receive nice, warm chocolate chip cookies at the end of our appointments!(before COVID). I also love the point system; we get rewarded for everything we do! Plus, there are many fun contests that we can participate in.

Super friendly staff and a very welcoming environment! They took the time to go over my options with me and explained everything very thoroughly! Love the new office-very kid friendly too for when I have to bring my 2 young kiddos along. Also, very impressed by all the updated equipment from when I had braces as a kid. The simulation program was so cool!! Super excited to get my Invisalign’s!

I felt welcome from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Everyone was so helpful and ORGANIZED. Having experience working in clinics I know it can be chaotic when things don’t go as planned and sometimes we just don’t always know the “best” process yet. I can say they have their ducks in a row. Thank you to Amy, Stacy, Ashley, and Dr. Hammer for a great experience.

I can’t wait to see my new smile in 18 months! Also what other ortho clinics give you a free hydroflask when you start treatment? Best incentive to drink more water and say goodbye to pop and coffee!
