For my granddaughter first visit it went really well. The office was very clean and the front desk ladies were really nice and professional. Our nurse Laura Perry was very sweet we really LOVED her and so did my hard to win over granddaughter. The dentist was good as well. The only thing I didn't like was not being allowed to take pictures of your child's first visit all parents want those first moments not one picture with the doctor.
It's not a deal breaker being since my granddaughter was very comfortable and did well with her appointment a fear I had going especially with her NOT being a morning person. I definitely recommend this office especially for children's first visit and I hope your lucky enough to get Laura as you nurse like we did

I took my 2 yr old daughter to see Dr. Brumbaugh, because she had an incident and wanted to make her teeth were good. All of the office staff were very friendly and helpful. Lynette the office manager is awesome! Thank you for all of your assistance. Dr. B was very gentle and patient as my daughter was afraid. Thank you ALL!

My son has been a patient of Dr. B's for years. We have always been pleased with the dental cleanings and the staff. My son has never had cavities and has always received good care by friendly hygienists, however he has always had issues with getting X-rays. His hypersensitive gag reflex has created a traumatic experience that he absolutely dreads, however today our hygienist Katie was amazing!
She looked over his chart, made some simple accommodations, explained things thoroughly, and X-rays were done with NO anxiety! He had a great visit, no cavities, and I appreciate Katie so much! Today was definitely a win!

Took our three year old to her first ever dentist appointment today. The nurse was amazing, she gave my daughter time to get comfortable, she asked her what flavor she'd like and let her taste it, she let the nurse brush her teeth as well as floss her teeth, which she doesn't even let us do for her yet. She was very sensitive and patient with our daughter.
The dentist however. He came in barely spoke to our daughter and kind of got onto her a little bit because she was touching his dental tools. She's three and was curious. So a few minutes goes by he barely speaks to her and has us hold her down while he looks in her mouth and puts flouride on three of her teeth. She was so upset when we left. It was awful.
He said sometimes they fuss when it's their first time and claimed that this is why we needed to bring her in when she was younger (looking at us like we were doing something wrong)but she was so scared by the time we were done that she didn't want her dad or I to hold her because she was scared we were going to hold her down again. We will not be going back to this dentist office because he was not patient enough to deal with her properly. Hopefully she won't be scared to go to a dentist again because I feel like she was pretty traumatized after this one visit. No thanks.

I am so disappointed in this office. My oldest daughter saw Dr. Brumbaugh several years ago and he was wonderful. When I called to schedule a consultation for one of my other children, I was denied that appointment because she has Medicaid. My daughter was adopted through foster care and Medicaid was given to her automatically. As soon as the staff member heard the word adoption, she asked for my daughter's name and verified her Medicaid, then she immediately refused to schedule her.
I explained to the staff member that my daughter has private insurance, (through Delta Dental), and that we would cover any costs that the insurance would not cover, but again, the appointment was refused and I was told "We are not accepting Medicaid at this time". I stated that I did not understand, as Medicaid would not need to be billed due to her having private insurance, but the statement fell on deaf ears. It is such a disappointment that my child is basically being punished for being adopted through the foster care system.

Dr. Brumbaugh and his staff are amazing. From our very first visit, he always explained everything in detail, and always ask if we have any questions which he always takes his time to answer. My son Gabriel loves him, he even came home after his first visit with Dr. "Brumbles" (as he calls him), and pretended he was a dentist and checked out all of our teeth. Dr. Brumbaugh leaves a positive impression on his patients and makes your childs experience special.
That brings meto today - my son had oral surgery and he once again explained everything in detail knowing we were all a little nervous, and he checked in with us several times through it all to let us know how he was doing, and most importantly he made sure Gabe was okay. Dr. Brumbaugh and his staff are amazing. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Brumbaugh is an excellent dentist. He has patience and knows how to talk to the children. My daughter loves to go to the dentist because of him and his staff. He explains things and jokes with her. I had my daughter there for minor surgery and she was scared to death. He talked to her and was rubbing her arm and wiping her tears. He explained what was going to happen.
He really took the time to calm her down and when she woke up he was right there to let her know she was fine and that everything went great. Wish he was my dentist growing up. I highly recommend him. He has a great staff too.

I just don't know where to begin. Perhaps I'll start with the bedside manner. Never have I ever been to any dentistry with such caring attitudes, especially towards children. and we're a veteran family so we've seen quite a lot of dentistry practices across the states. I was beside myself with relief at how professional and truly loving the staff was.
My son has a sensory processing disorder and is on the very high functioning end of the spectrum.he had no discomfort, no uneasiness, no anxiety.it was unreal. His dental hygienist was Courtney and she was just amazing with him. She answered the questions he asked and got involved with his interests of things in the exam room. She talked to him. It wasn't just "All right, sit down, scoot back, and let's do this." She walked him through every step of the way.
He was so relaxed and comfortable that he actually completed all four X-ray photos that she needed to take. Dr. Brumbaugh was no different with his attentiveness. The fact that both he and my son are both train enthusiasts was a blessing. The whole office caters a friendly and warm atmosphere. The incentives they give for the children in the "no cavity kids club" is wonderful.
If you are looking for a phenomenal pediatric dentist, I implore you to call Dr. Brumbaugh's office. To Dr. Brumbaugh and Courtney, I could never thank you enough for such a pleasant experience for my son. We were there early afternoon today. it's 6:30 pm and he's still talking about it and how brave he was. You encouraged him and helped him face scary, uncharted waters head on. I'm ever so grateful.

Past two appointments we've had routine visits for two kids where services were performed outside our dental plan limits. We've asked them to check first and yet we're still not being asked prior and end up stuck with the bill. The billing coordinator only works 4.25hours a day, 4 days a week, making it frustrating to get answers or help. Overall they're OK.
The billing and benefit issues that we've had are just so incredibly frustrating that it overshadows any of the positives. I simply can't afford these surprises when my plan is supposed to cover the kids 100% for their biannual visits.
