Bishop & Takemoto Dentistry

I've been going here since I was 6 years old. Forty years. Everyone on the staff is always lovely and the minimal dental work I've had is outstanding. I would be uneasy in any other dental office and have paid out of pocket at times because I trust everyone here so much.

As I'm sure alot of people are, I have major anxiety going to the dentist. But on my recent visit the anxiety level decreased quickly once I got there. Everyone is always so friendly. Everyone. They're very understanding. They know my name and it's just a comfortable environment. Thank you so much to everyone there!

The dentists are responsive and competent in meeting my dental needs. The staff here are also competent and enjoyable to interact with. When my former dentist retired, the transition to the new dentists went extremely smoothly.

I'm a recent patient at BT Dentistry, but it's the best dental service I've had. They not only have great staff, but the working environment also seems to really laid back and friendly.

Service was rude, bed behavior rough. I want to clarify This is under the new the ownership. I was late for 25 minutes, even I called twice on my way, I apologized and explained I didn't receive the normal short message confirmations and my calendar alerts did not go off. In fact the service literally last 10 minutes, from 12:28 to 12:38 PM. I walked out of the office by 12:40.

I was charged $50 which I believe it is the late fee. When I was checking out, the receptionist at the front desk just said with a poker face, "$50 for now, and we will see in the bill for the rest. ", without any more words. I am with this office for my dental work for at least the past 8 years so are my kids, we are always on time, except these two recent appointments this month.

Normally the wait time at this office is about 5', the longest was about 30 minutes and as patient and customers we didn't ever complain. So I was extremely disappointed!

I came in with a chipped front tooth not thinking much could be done except file the sharp edge. Dr. Colleen Shook fixed it beautifully! I've always been impressed with the caliber of Service and Care here. Thank you BT Dentistry!

BTD makes dentist visits a very pleasant experience. All of the employees I have ever interacted with are very nice, professional and skilled at what they do. Most important, in 10 years I don't think I have ever waited more than two minutes for my appointment. If you have to go to the dentist, I recommend going here!

I've always dreaded going to the dentist, I still have a lot of anxiety about my oral care. I've gone through a lot of different dental offices before finding Boulder Total 10 years ago. I love the staff and look forward to seeing them every time I visit Boulder Total Dentistry. I truly trust them, that has made the most impact on my oral health, that's why I look forward to my dental visits now.

I absolutely love everyone at BT Dentistry. They care so much for their patients and do such a great job in all aspects of dentistry. I recently completed a big job of an implant and veneer on my two front teeth. I and they wanted it perfect. They took such great care of me. And it is perfect! I was recently told I have a smile that would launch a thousand ships. Yea, that's what I was going for. BT Dentistry made it a reality. Check them out.

Very positive first visit to establish care. Easy checkin (online new patient forms, scheduling, appointment reminders, etc), gentle/quick x-rays, thorough exam, friendly KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. Look forward to future routine visits and hoping I don't need more work but if/when I do I am confident I'll be in good hands. ETA: brought kids (3, 5 and 6yo) in for cleanings and checkups and the whole staff from receptionist to hygienist to dentist were very kind, patient and "kid friendly." Thank you for making us feel welcome and we'll cared for.

I just love each staff member here. They are truly interested in my well being! Certainly people who are not in it for the money but for quality patient experience! Highly recommend BTD

I loved my teeth cleaning today! I think my hygienist was Mandy? She was very efficient and thorough. Teeth felt squeaky clean. In and out in 40 minutes. Always love seeing Pam and the other friendly desk staff. I'm a happy customer!

The experience, as usual was wonderful. Knowledge, kindness, humor, all good. Always leaving with a grateful heart.

What a fantastic dental team. I switched here after learning my primary dentist was not requiring covid vaccinations for their staff/employees and this practice is all vaxxed. I have been grateful on every level that I have this kind team caring for my very high needs teeth.

Dr. Colleen Shook understands her patients are humans - - not robotic dental school mannequins and doesn't lecture or get up on a dental soap box. YAY! She is caring, kind, and highly technically skilled. The office is beautifully located in Boulder with free parking and there is a lift for people with disabilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I've been going to this practice for 25 years, and have always received excellent care. My daughter and her husband also go there; we are all very happy with the care they provide. The original owners who have now both retired ensured that the new dentists maintained their high standards.

BT Dentistry is wonderful. From the front desk staff to the hygienists to the doctors, they are experienced, professional, and friendly. I've been using this office for 20+ years, and many of the same people work there. I recommend them!

Dr. Hinsberger and the entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout my exam, x-rays and cleaning. She spent a lot of time listening to my dental concerns and was understanding and professional. It has taken me a long time to find a dentist and I am very happy with my experience.

The whole office is top notch -- dentists, hygienists, and administration. This past week, Dr Shook took excellent care of a molar repair for me on short notice. My whole family have been coming to BT for more than a decade and have never had a complaint. (Before coming to BT I tried other dentists in Boulder and Westminster.) I highly recommend BT for affordable, top-quality care across the board!

I believe this office has now been re-branded as BT Dentistry, but while the name has changed, I've continued to receive great dental care. I've been a patient for nine years and had good experiences with both the assistants and dentists. I recommend the office to my friends!

Dr Bishop is super. I had a dental emergency on a Friday night. He met me Saturday morning and took great care of me. Kudos for excellent care!

I am a certified dental wimp. Dr. Bishop and his staff have managed to keep me coming back for regular cleanings and 'maintenance for about 15 years. Anyone else out there who classifies herself as a dental wimp knows that this is testimonial enough! Thank you B&T, for so many years of excellent service!

The service was fantastic and I loved Dr. Takemoto. What I didn't realize and what they didn't tell me was that I was in a plan that required me to pay extra, when I was going into it with the impression that my insurance would pay all of it. They said that they could not tell me how much it would cost until AFTER I went through the procedure and then they billed me.

I wish I had known this before hand. I tried to get the amount lowered or changed to just cash but they would not be understanding and help me out. They said it was the same price if I paid with insurance or just cash. Sadly, I am not going to be able to go to them anymore because of this. I wish I was informed of this before I had to pay them. Be sure to call your insurance company before going to see them, because they will not help you with the cost information.

Dr. Takemoto is the best dentist I've seen. She is very fun, quick witted, honest and open. She tells you like it is, with a smile and a joke. She is clearly very knowledgable and her staff seems to love her, which i think is a good indicator about a dentist. In the last two years of going to Bishop + Takemoto i have had several cleanings, a crown, and a handful of fillings, but after the initial work, i am on track with healthy teeth!

Before going to Dr. Takemoto i was going to a dentist's office which i felt was always trying to up-sell me on things, and i was relieved to find a welcoming office where the staff really seems to care about the patients.
