Services
Welcome to the office of Dr. Geeta Bhat and Associates. We are happy that you have chosen us as your children?s dental office. Our office opened in 2005 with a clear vision of what the ultimate children?s dental practice should be. We wanted an office that provided awesome dental care, an environment that was a fun and exciting experience for children and made affordable for our parents. Through passion, personality, and a true understanding of the needs of children, we feel that we have made this vision come to life.
We provide thorough comprehensive exams, which help us to detect any potential problem areas, provide diet counseling and dental education, provide fluoride treatments, and create complete personalized treatment plans. If necessary, we also provide restorative treatments, space maintenance, emergency dentistry and dental treatment in the OR under General Anesthesia at Duke Raleigh Hospital.
Our goal is to make dental visits a positive experience for all of our young patients. We want your child to look forward to their visits at our office and with this in mind, we have designed the? Blue Cat Cash Rewards Program? to make your child?s dental visits interesting and fun each and every time.

I am overdue on writing this review, but wanted to share a message. Since some of us rely heavily on reviews to get a scope of an establishment, I believe honesty is the best policy. So I will be sharing some good with the bad. In our more recent visits I have noticed a decline in professionalism and cleanliness. The cleanliness being the upmost concerning.
On our last visit, our room was noticeably unkept. The trash was overflowing, tools/materials seemed to be unorganized, and overall the room just felt neglected. This is not the impression you want to see walking into a dentist appointment. In actuality, this could just be a matter of more quality training, as I want to assume our dental assistant was new.
If this had been our first visit ever, I would honestly not go back based on that. However, I give them a little more credit due to previous visits. Uniqua is my boys' FAVORITE! She is extremely patient, kind, professional, and sweet. I highly recommend her, particularly for children that may seem apprehensive about dental visits. Second to Uniqua for a recommendation is Stephaney.
My daughter had her first baby/toddler visit here and it did not start out well. I believe it was mainly due to her association in thinking she was at a doctor's office getting shots.so she was NOT having it. Stephaney was not the initial dental assistant, but swooped in to intervene. She worked her baby magic and got Isabella to relax as she educated us with a baby dental hygiene book (in which Isabella loves books/being read to). We were able to finish out Isabella's appointment on a positive note.

My son is 10 and on the autism spectrum. The dentist is a VERY scary place for him. He's been hard to calm most appointments. Their dental assistant Stephany, however has changed that for us. She is the most kind, patient, and gentle assistant who has ever worked with him. She made him at ease and did everything she could to make sure he wasn't overloaded sensorially.
It was the best appointment ever. I would highly recommend that if you have a child who has special needs or is very anxious at the dentist to request her to work with your child. She's great and I can't say enough about her. My other two children go here as well and they love it, too! We've been with Bhat and Associates since my kids were little and they are 14, 10, and 10. Best pediatric dentist ever! Update: he's 13, still loving Stephanie! He won't go to anyone else. He even kisses her hand.

My daughter recently had to have 2 crowns placed and she has a high level of anxiety. The first procedure went well as she was not aware of what happens. At her second appointment she would not allow Dr. Wist to complete the work. We had to reschedule and as we were rescheduling Stephaney (dental hygienist) said she would assist as she has training with children that experience anxiety during dental procedures.
Before the 3rd appointment I called to discuss my daughter's reluctance with getting the crown placed and discussed this with Stephaney. She assured me that the procedure would be done. The 3rd appointment went a lot better than the 2nd. Stephaney did an excellent job of keeping my daughter's attention occupied while the work was completed. She has tons of patience! She is a God send and if your child experiences anxiety I would recommend scheduling with her.

We switched to Geeta bhat dds several years ago when one of our kids had dental anxiety at our other dentist. They are SO good with kids. The hygienist staff is so welcoming and caring and wonderful with how they soothe anxious kids, especially Stephaney. They are so quick and efficient in getting procedures done quickly and I can bring all 5 of my kids in for cleanings and be in and out in an hour. Highly recommend.

We have been bringing our 3 sons to the office of Geeta Bhat, DDS for over a decade. We have always been greeted warmly, and the staff has worked with our schedules to get all 3 boys in at the same time slots so there is very little wait. My boys all truly enjoy Dr. Wiist who has offered exceptional care as well as expertise in pulling teeth! Stephaney is fun, pleasant, & efficient at her work. I would highly recommend this dental office to any parent looking for excellent, consistent dental care for their child.

Highly recommend! Stephaney provided exceptional service! She & Dentist that helped my son were both very good in helping my son remain calm during the entire visit. I've been very nervous about taking my kiddo to the dentist during pandemic. Stephaney has a special calling & she's terrific with nervous kiddos (and parents).

The Doctors and staff are so caring with their patients and financial concerns at this office I am beyond happy to give them 5 star's. The office is so kid friendly, and have a great team starting with Office manager, and dental assistants Stephany. Dr Tu is one of the best Pediatric Dentist she is amazing with our kids and takes her time explaining to the parents with questions and concerns. They will work with you on a treatment plan. They have a great team and I can't say enough about them. If you don't have a dentist or aren't happy with yours, check them out
