The staff at Southcenter dental are extremely excellent at their work, they have good communication skills and their service is beyond self. Am still on treatment and I was impressed the way Dr. Baruffi did my painless root canal and am hopeful that I will accomplish my full package treatment. I already left a 5 start review, but wanted to come back and share a little bit more. I've never said I enjoyed going to the dentist, it's just not something that's meant to be enjoyable. But the staff was amazing, friendly, and quite good at their jobs. Their communication during my time there was great and after my appointment Dr. Baruffi took the time to send me a handwritten card thanking me for coming in which is practically unheard of in this era. I absolutely recommend them if you've had bad dental experiences in the past.

I seriously love meeting people that are GOOD at what they do and LOVE what they do. It is inspiring to meet people who have mastered their craft. This is what Dr. Austin embodies. I went in for a dental procedure which I was nervous about (never really liked the dentist in the past) and he and his wonderful staff (shoutout to Tammie and Allie) were an absolute delight. Their priority was my comfort, and nothing else. You will not be disappointed to pay them a visit! Now, going to the dentist is so enjoyable! Thanks Southcenter Dental!

Dr.austin is always really nice, caring and always answer my questions. The new dental hygienist is really friendly and gentle. I always recommend this place.

I would definitely give Southcenter Dental a five star rating. Dr. Austin has a great deal of artistry and did a beautiful job replacing a filling in my front tooth. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. I have replaced several crowns over the last four years. Now I continue with regular cleanings to maintain healthy periodontal care. I would highly recommend their service to friends and family.

Hands down one of the best operating offices in the PNW. Dr. Baruffi is attentive, thorough, and kind. The staff/team does a wonderful job as well, very kind and thorough too. Southcenter Dental has been my dental provider for many many years. Dr. Jerome Baruffi has done all my dental work forever. I am 70 now and the work has held up since I started going to see Dr. Baruffi at age 16. Dr. Baruffi has a fantastic bedside manner. There is no pain, and he is so kind. Tammy White is his assistant. She has become a friend over the years and is so helpful in getting the work done efficiently. The office staff goes out of their way to process any insurance needs you may have. They are extremely knowledgeable about billing and booking needs.

The staff has a way of making you feel comfortable and safe. Every step was explained in full details. Trust me, like most I can't stand going to the dentist but in this case I plan on going back to this one for all my dental needs 10/10

Just recently started and finished my dental treatment here with Dr. Austin and I have to say this team is beyond amazing! It's a family and I feel more than accepted. All of your concerns are answered and they go far beyond to make sure you are healthy. I've never been able to complete a dental treatment in my entire life being low income for much of it.

So to finally be able to access proper care and have them be the ones make it all the sweeter! My treatment continues with orthodontics but man I can't wait to see the team again. Thank you guys!

Southcenter Dental Dr Austin is amazing. HIs entire staff from the front desk to the dental tech are amazing. I have an extreme anxiety with anything dentist and have never been able to get thru any procedure without being sedated. They were able to pull a tooth and insert a dental implant into my upper jaw w/o sedation. I took a single valum an hour before and nitrous during the procedure and with their patience and gental understanding of this anxiety they were able to provide excellent dental care. I trust them and enjoyed the process so much i refferred my daughter to him!

From my first visit to my latest visit I find SCD to be the most professional, caring and honest Dental office I've had the privilege to use for the care of my dental concerns. I truly appreciate their hygienist Theresa for her gentle yet very caring approach to her patients needs.

Teresa cleaned my teeth until they were sparkling clean! She was excellent! Dr. Austin Baruffi was thoughtful and thorough in his holistic exam. I am so glad I've joined Southcenter Dental for my dental care!

I used to hate going to the dentist, but going here I felt right at home. My teeth were messed up, and I'm about to go in for my last procedure. After this my teeth will be the healthiest they've ever been. I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and 2-3 were impacted. I experienced no pain what so ever. This was important for me because that's why I hated the dentist before. Everyone here is very welcoming and they're here to help YOU fix your teeth. Thanks Southcenter Dental!

The staff at Southcenter Dental are amazing. I have major dental phobia so it means a lot for me to say this! They did everything possible to be sure I had a good experience and was comfortable. The office is taking all precautions for COVID19 and I felt very secure that my exposure risk was very low. Finally, the office uses some great technology to make the procedures as pain free as possible and to make sure they get it right the first time when it comes to things like making and placing crowns. I am a lifetime patient and highly recommend.

EDIT: while I initially said you'd have to ignore a lot to miss an appointment that doesn't really apply during a global pandemic. During this strange time I ended up missing an appointment when many other places hadn't even opened their doors yet. They charged me $77 and when I called to pay it there was no reconciliation or understanding. Just a simple "what's your card number?" and I was on my way.to another dentist, because there isn't a shortage of options.

By far the most amazing, friendly staff and Dentists I've met to this day. They make you feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease while leaving you You leave feeling clean, confidant with a beaming smile. I recommend them already to all my friends and family, I only hesitated to write a review knowing that once the word got out, it would be so much harder to make an appointment. But seriously everyone should have a good dentist, so here they are, the Baruffi's and their staff are the very best.

Literally the greatest dentist. Impeccable customer service, shockingly affordable prices, what more could you ask for? I will tout Southcenter dental to anyone who will listen.

Our family are seeing other dentist for over 10years. We thought we are getting a good service BUT not until a friend recommended us to Southcenter Dental. They have the most high tech equipment to give us an accurate diagnosis or what we need to improve our dental needs. Not only they have a high tech equipments, the staff are very happy with their job, the team work and how Dr Austin Baruffi(son) & Dr. Jerome Baruffi( father) treated their employee like family.

It shows with their performance at work and how they communicate with their patients- with respect! If you asked me about if they charge a lot with their service.they DONT! No hidden charges and even before you leave your appointment they can tell you exactly how much you can pay for a procedure. It's also easy to get an appointment. Since they have an advance equipment - we dont have to keep coming back for the same procedure. they can do it in one day! The dental office is very clean, they have water, coffee etc. and any ages can come!

Incredibly kind staff. Good at making you feel comfortable if you generally don't like dentists. Highly recommend them.

Southcenter Dental does an exceptional job. Their advanced technology offers same day service on procedures that previously took multiple appointments. Not only is the procedure streamlined, I haven't needed to return for adjustments. This has saved me time and discomfort previously experienced from my last dentist. I've been with Southcenter Dental for over 5 years now and glad I made the change. Everyone is friendly and caring. I highly recommend Southcenter Dental.

Love this place! Friendly, knowledgeable, talented, helpful folks. I've gone through many dentists (moved around a lot) and have plenty of crowns etc, and this team takes great care of me!

No complaints. First visit today and place looked and felt amazing. Staff was super friendly and had great interpersonal skills that didnt seem forced. The Dr. Austin Baruffi Was great. Friendly, attentive and informative. Their evaluation is very in-depth and up to date with modern technology. They actually took photos of my mouth/teeth with a camera (which was absolutely a hilarious process lol) and they had a pen sized device that actually took up close/clear pictures of a tooth inside my mouth. Maybe my last dentist office was super out dated but I found this pretty cool lol. Im confident my future dental care is going to be pretty spot on.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The staff are very nice once you're able to actually speak to someone. Their hours of operation are not meant for working people. If you're retired, I guess it might be a good place to go - but only if you're independently wealthy. They are only open from 7am to 4pm and act like being open at 7am is doing you a favor.

They shut down during the last two weeks of the year, don't answer their phones at lunch, and sometimes close during summer months. If you're a teacher forget about it. The staff are so nice because they're always trying to up-sell everything! You need braces. You need whitening. You need implants. I went in to have a wisdom tooth pulled, paid my $400 co-pay and had my procedure. Dr. Barrufi assured me that I needed a bone graft and that the insurance would cover it. 6 months later, I get a bill for another $400!

I tried to dispute the claim, but they sent it to collections without even contacting me! I left voicemails, sent letters, and even went down there in person, but they were closed for winter break! Nobody from the office ever contacted me to try to work out an agreement or explain their position. I ended up having to pay $700 to a collection agency because this dentist uses unethical business practices and lies to customers in order to turn a dime. It's really shameful, but hey. their office is really pretty and they vacation three times a year! Someone's got to pay for that.

First visit was today. Let me say that I look forward to my next visit. The staff was fantastic! From the ladies at the front desk to my dental hygienist to the awesome Dr. Austin, this place exceeded my expectations. If you need a great dentist and having a good experience is also important, then THIS is the place to go!

I love each and every staff member at South Center dental! Everyone goes above and beyond for the patients and I know I am in great hands with Dr. Austen, he truly is the best dentist I have ever seen. He is not just a average dentist, he really cares for his patients and I am so thankful for him helping me with all my mouth issues! Dr. Austen has the best personality and he puts me as ease every single time.

Wow. Dr. Austin and his team at Southcenter Dental know what they are doing. They made my visit to the dentist, with no exaggeration, painless. From numbing to performing the procedure this place is fantastic. Always greeted with a smile and the staff knew and remembered me after my first visit. Dr. Austin Baruffi took the time to understand me both personally and financially. Dealing with a tight budget, he performed far past expectation and treated me with the utmost care.

I have had a bad experience when I was little which caused anxiety growing up. I still have to have nitrous just for cleanings but they dont mind. They take their time and explain everything. I have seen both Dr Jerome and Dr Austin Baruffi (father and son) and they are both similar that I am comfortable with whoever is available. Barb knows me by name. I have been a patient since 2008 and will never go anywhere else. I have had a lot of work done but never disappointed.

From the front desk to the appointment it was a welcoming and thorough experience. For those with the fear of going to the dentist this is a great place to come. They consistently make sure you are comfortable and pain free. They also have the most advanced technology I've seen in a dentist office. They keep you informed of what's going on and show you your teeth pictures so you can see what they see. Definitely a dentist you can stick with and not be scared.

So I was in need if a cleaning and hadn't been to the dentist I a long while. I found Southcenter dental through my dental insurance and then looked up their reviews on here and decided to make an appointment. I was able to make an appointment online and got a call a couple hours later asking if I was available the next day. I was also able to fill out my forms all online which is awesome!

Nothing is better than when a service like this makes everything so easy. The office was located right near Southcenter mall and when I walked in I was impressed. It was clean, nice and the receptionist was so nice. My cleaning was good and they were super informative about everything going on with my teeth/mouth. I learned more from them about dentistry and my own teeth in two hours than in the whole rest of my dental life.

They were great and my experience was wonderful! The dental hygienist and the dentist were both really great and made the appointment a breeze, other the the average pain associated with a teeth cleaning that is. If you need a dentist in the area definitely go here!

They clean my teeth and make me feel all sparkly. I'd give them five stars but I actually have to get on the bus to go there.
