Went here initially about 18 months ago, because I was having pain, called around and they were the only ones who could see me quickly. This place has been through four dentists in the 18 months I have known them. And the office staff appears to have turned over completely. Last checkup/cleaning, told I had a loose filling. Scheduled that. Also asked a couple of staff about the turnover, they had nothing good to say.

Week after procedure, still having pain when I eat. Called, got scheduled again. Spent four hours in the chair. Still didn't get it right. The pain was worse. After a week, called back. Made an appointment for the following Tuesday. That's when I decided to check for reviews of their current dentist. Not encouraging. Got recommendations from friends for another dentist. Cancelled my appointment. Went to another dentist in New Albany. Took about an hour.

New dentist explained in easy-to-understand detail what the issues were and the treatment plan, something never got from the previous dentist, who didn't even bother to introduce herself or tell me her name. I later asked the reception desk her name. Stay away from these guys.

Went in for cavity fillings and I have extreme anxiety. The staff was very very nice and patient! Offered me head phones to listen to music and did a very good job at making sure i felt safe and comfortable

Great Staff and Doctors. The hygienist and dentist assistants were fabulous with my daughter and her first cavity. Definitely going back.

I've always had nice teeth but now that I'm older, there has been some staining I figured I was stuck with for the rest of my life. My hygienist, Mary, asked me if I was a coffee drinker, and I am. We talked about my diet and my iron intake, going over all the possibilities for the staining. I brush regularly and have become an avid flosser. So then, we talked about toothpastes and different ingredients in some that might help or cause issues.

She is incredibly knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I had some toothpaste research to do to find what would work best for me. She sent me home with an Oral B toothbrush and Crest 3D White to try. I have always been a Colgate person. After one brushing though, almost All the stains are gone! I couldn't believe it. I kept looking at my teeth all night. I'll be 45 next month and have been a bit down about going "downhill" but this. my teeth. I feel like there's still some more up for me hank! Thank you Mary!

Stacy Dismore, I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for being such an outstanding receptionist over the years. You are the first person to greet the people who enter the dental office from the parking lot and you always make sure to greet them with a friendly smile even if you are not feeling well. You always appear so happy and cheerful too!

You are being truly thanked for this. Melissa, Thank you so much for the excellent dental care you gave me today. You were attentive, kind and patient. For the person on the other end of the equipment I most appreciated it!

I had a great experience with Southern Indiana Dental Care. The office staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. My hygienist was thorough and gentle. Dr. Ranney was down to earth and knowledgeable. Nobody tried to upsell/hard sell, which I greatly appreciated. I was very pleased with my visit and would highly recommend them.

Dr. Ranney and the staff at Southern Indiana Dental Care are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The office is always a clean and relaxing environment. I highly recommend this dental office!

Very helpful and friendly staff from top to bottom. They are all both very professional and very personal at the same time. They make going to the dentist a little less stressful. Have always been able to get in quickly for appointments when needed. Dr. Ranney and his staff are a great group.

His assistant Melissa, yeah, I can't say enough about her, she is very, very good at her job! So professional, yet personable, AND best part, she keeps your mind so busy, you will forget your nervous, anxious and scared of the dentist! Mary did my cleaning, she is so quick & gentle, zero pain and my teeth look & feel amazing! Greeted with a smile & kindness at the front desk, Stephanie is always one of the nicest, friendly and most helpful. You have a great staff there Dr. Ranney & Stacy! Keep up the great work! Morgan Evans was a very thorough hygienist. Best experience I've ever had at the dentist. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Would highly recommend you book your next cleaning at this office.

The entire office is super friendly and everything is very efficiently ran. I have never had to wait to be seen long at all. At the same time, they really take the time to make sure to check your teeth for any problems and go over any concerns you may have. They really seem to respect their patients' time while at the same time not making them feel rushed.

My husband, 2 kids, and I have been going here for over a decade and have never had any negative experiences. Dr. Baker is very knowledgeable and very straightforward and honest about any dental problems he notices. The hygienists and front desk staff are all excellent at their jobs too. This is really a great dental practice.

Dr. Chris Baker is the best dentist I've ever had- he is very upfront with you and what care you need, and the hygienists are so kind and careful. With my previous dentist I had an allergic reaction to the fluoride but they kept pushing me to get it, the hygienists here are super great about not forcing me into it! The first time I came, Dr. Baker greeted me with a smile and a handshake, every time I've come after that, he's greeted me by name.

He is quick and efficient. I wouldn't see Dr. Baker if you want anything sugar coated (no pun intended), because he is brutally honest about what problems you may have with your teeth and how to correct them, but I prefer and appreciate when my medical professionals are completely transparent with me. Their goodie bags are pretty great, too!

It's not possible to leave zero stars or I would. I had one of the most confrontational encounters with Dr Baker I have ever had. I was a new patient and without even introducing himself, he came into the examine room and loudly stated that my mouth was filled with rot. He then began insulting my previous dentist and insisted that I make a decision about having my wisdom teeth removed before even examining me.

Then he proceeded to accuse me of "coming at him three times" and asked me to leave his office. I looked at the hygentist totally confused and she looked mortified. As I was leaving totally confused, the "Doctor" continued to insult me while he acted like he was texting on his phone. Soon after I left I went to another dentist, Dr Sisk, in New Albany and he said I had no issues with my mouth and that my wisdom teeth were fine. Avoid Dr Baker at all costs! He is irrational and confrontational.
