Several districts are having their general membership meetings this month as the fall season approaches, and MCG has big news. On Wednesday, September 30, the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new dental education building on the Augusta campus. The GDA will be there to capture all the unique sights for an Action feature article.

It is a great program to help people who cannot afford dental treatment get the care that they need. They also educate the patient on how to care for their teeth.

If you are a patient of a dentist in Georgia and that dentist did not do a good job, YOU CANNOT GET ANY HELP TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM FROM GEORGIA DENTAL ASSOCIATION. You can file several complaints on the proper forms and make several calls over months and not receive even one response from the written complaints or the messages you left to get help.

The Georgia Dental Association seems to be a shill for dentists in Georgia. If a dentist pays their dues, complaints about them will be dealt with by having any complaint NOT RESPONDED TO until the consumer is disheartened and loses all hope of help. It seems like a good idea to have this type of forum if it worked. Unfortunately all member dentists are colored by the GDA system of ignoring complaints.

Good dentists should know that the bad ones are being protected so that they do not have to make things right with the injured patients. If you have a problem or complaint about a dentist DO NOT EXPECT any help from the Georgia Dental Association.
