The Arizona School of Dental Assisting (ASDA) has been open and operating as a post secondary school since 2001. It is our endeavor to prepare individuals with the knowledge and technical proficiency that will allow them to become immediately employable in a dental office upon graduation. Expand your knowledge to learn all about children's dentistry with the our pediatric extension course! Learn patient management techniques, children's treatment, preventative care, sedation safety, and more! The Pediatric Extension Program at Arizona School of Dental Assisting gives students the tools they need to succeed in the field of pediatric dentistry.
We teach, model, and encourage a love of learning, collaboration, and compassion for others. A general overview of the dental profession is given including a discussion of professional associations, dental specialties, and the role of the dental assistant in the general dental office. Dental ethics is reviewed emphasizing the dental assistant's obligation to observe established principles.

I completed the 12 week course here. Whitney and Jacqueline were both wonderful instructors and really took their time explain things to make sure you fully understand what you're being taught. I had an issue with work and getting to my classes in the beginning so they worked with my schedule and made it possible for me to finish. Going to this school was one of the best decisions I ever made!

I had an amazing experience going to the Dental Assistant program at ASDA! I loved all the clinicals we had the opportunity to do, hands on learning is hands down the best! Whittney was such a knowledgable and amazing instructor! We were all so lucky to have her! She had passion, enthusiasm and an encouraging charisma about her. Attending The Arizona School of Dental Assisting was one of the best and most rewarding decisions I have made. Both Whittney and Jackie took the time to help each of us understand the material and how to be a great dental assistant. They both have such great experience and knowledge around the dental field. They answered all the questions i had! Not only did they help me get a certificate, they helped me secure a job after finishing my externship. I can not thank Lisa enough for the opportunity to attend her school! I would absolutely recommend ASDA to anyone!

I worked in a dental office as a stereo tech but I still decided to enroll to learn more and be certified as a DA and was worth it. My experience was better than I had already expected. Mrs. Whittney and ASDA as a whole deserves more recognition for all the hard work and quality knowledge they provide to their students. It was a lot of hands on and gave me the confidence I needed for my career.
They are always looking how to better support and guide their students and it's very appreciated. I would take this course again. If anything I didn't even want it to end. -Thank you for everything.

I had such a great time and such a great learning experience! I loved the staff there, they were so helpful and hands on. My teacher was Jacqui and she goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the material. I instantly got a job right after school, and I'm so glad I went through this experience

A little over a year ago, a young girl I know was looking for a career change. I wasn't sure if being a dental assistant was what she wanted, but I told her to give ASDA a call. She was very excited - she called the school and scheduled a tour. The staff was always available, so helpful & friendly. When she received her Dental Assistant certificate, they were very encouraging & placed her in a dental office for her internship where they immediately hired her.
I would definitely recommend ASDA - Lisa Stevenson, President & Whittney, Program Director changed this young girls life. They are very caring and they love to see their students succeed.

I just finished my 12 week general course program. Honestly it went by fast! Even with the time frame and the amount of information we got to consume; I was allowed the opportunity to stay after class and go over information I was unsure about and use the clinic to get on more hands on approach to a daily dental assistant routine like molds, instrument passing, and sanitation.
The best part about this course are the tag team instructors Whitney and Jacky who value our success in the Dental field and always being available when I have questions and concerns. Thank you ladies I am excited to start Orthodontics and Pediatrics in 2022.
